AN ELEGANT AMERICAN BRASSERIE
The New York Palace elevates Midtown Manhattan’s renowned culinary offerings with the seasonally inspired entrees and cocktails served in The Madison Room & Bar. This elegant restaurant and lounge is housed in the landmark Villard Mansion, a 19th Century historical gem offers a spectacular setting paired with innovative cuisine for a welcoming dining experience. Guests can enjoy favorites from the hotel’s Executive Chef James Staiano such as the Almond Croissant French Toast, or our New York Chicken Sandwich, and Steak Frites. The Madison Room & Bar is located just off the lobby mezzanine and open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a full service bar in the evenings.

"The location, decor, ambiance, bar, dining and staff were all excellent. We had a very comfortable feeling there. I am sorry to say the menu was a little short and the food was not quality. The chef cooked well, but the steak was tough and not a good quality. I think if you could improve on the menu a bit and a few more choices, you could have a real hit."

"I was surprised with the experience here. Poor wine list (I was told via phone they had a bigger list - they didn't) and steaks were not cooked to our requests; sent my girlfriends back only to have it come back well overdone"

"Whilst the restaurant itself is a beautiful space, it is very expensive for the food served. Whilst the staff are very friendly the service is very slow. They need to look at their prices to compete with some of the other wonderful places in New York"
