Street Kitchen Asian Bistro (STK) captures the vibrant cuisine of Asian street foods in a modern, vibrant and fresh atmosphere.
Using traditional recipes, Chef/Owner Mary Nguyen creates the best street foods from Malaysia, China, Japan, Vietnam and Thailand.
Starting from scratch and using the freshest and highest quality ingredients is the only way to authentically prepare Asian cuisine.
Using a well stocked pantry of fragrant jasmine rice, Shaoxing wine, first-press peanut oil, quality brewed soy and fish sauce and artisan wheat, egg and rice noodles, STK chefs create hand-crafted regional dishes. We even roast our own nuts, chilies and spices, some of which are ground daily to prepare a variety of authentic curries.
We encourage guests to make a meal of many small plates, ordering from across Asia through the STK menu. Food appears at the table as it sizzles, crackles and simmers fresh from the kitchen, each dish arriving as it is prepared.
"What a wonderful foodie oasis in a chain restaurant wasteland! Took friends who had never been & all really enjoyed the variety of options. The food is very fresh and creative. Even folks nervous about asian dishes found much to love! But those of us who love Vietnamese & Malay dishes were in real heaven. We still dream of the Bahn Mi for lunch! The soups were divine also that day. And we had a dessert to celebrate a birthday. It was a chocolate cake that was out of this world. And several of our group arent' chocolate cake fans. Just great food! We gotta spread the word & keep this place going strong!"

"Had a wonderful dinner with friends. Started off with the Sk platter, a combination of spring rolls, coconut shrimp, ribs, & crab rangoons. Very tasty and enough for 4 with another appetizer. We had various curry dishes and a pork belly dish that was very good. We were able to share amongst us all so that was fun to try different dishes. Service was excellent and our waiter took good care of us. It was a special event so they brought out a dessert for the table and comped it. Very nice! We have eaten at the chef's other restaurant in Denver, Parallel Seventeen, which is also wonderful so glad to know there's great food down south as well as in Uptown Denver."

"It was pretty loud, but the food was tasty, and the server was knowledgable and friendly. However, after mentioning on my reservation here, and calling that night to confirm they knew it was for a birthday celebration...and being told they'd bring out dessert and sing, they didn't. When we walked in the host said "For a birthday, right?". Don't go here for any special occasions. :("

"We were with the whole family 5 adults and 3 children celebrating my brother's birthday.
From the beginning we were having difficulties. We thought that STA was a kid friendly restaurant but they were not prepared with crayons or anything to keep the girls busy. When we were seated we had to wait over 15 minutes to place any order. We ordered appetizers which were brought incorrectly. Upon bringing out the appitezers they manager and waiter ran into each other and spilled the food and sauce all over him. They did not even say sorry and later joked about buying him a new outfit for his Bday.
The night was ruined but we tried to make the best of it. As the food was brought out they messed up again the order and forget to bring my"

"The food was incredible! The place was extremely loud and there seemed to be only one server for the entire restaurant, but because the food was so good, the service is something I would be willing to overlook. I'll definitely be going back."

"The dim sum was excellent. It was all down-hill after that. Even though they have been open for about 18 months the kitchen was apparently overwhelmed by a modest rush of business. We were told they had to make more soup and other excuses. The kung pao was not at all interesting with chicken that seemeed to be low quality and mushy. Certainly not firm. Even though we could see the peppers in the mix, the food by any standards had no kick and was lifeless. No traditional peanuts were in this dish. The low mein with beef was practically inedlble with the beef not even chewable. The dish also had very little to no flavor. The soup when it arrived after about an hour was only fair and seemed a bit too sweet. Not a good experience."

"the food is authentic and delicious. Went with a big group and the service was the best. They are very accommodating, friendly and helpful. SKB serves fresh food. I like they support local non profits donating once a month 10% of proceeds of a day's sales to a local non profit."

"This is definitely a hidden gem! Food was outstanding and the concept of various Asian cooking style has something for everyone to love! Restaurant was beautiful inside and very fun scene - lots of energy. It is hidden in this community but word needs to get out because the food is not to be missed! They also have take-out so even a great grab on the way home if you can't stay!! we will be back for sure."

"Food is just fair - miso soup - too salty. Vegetable rolls too many noodles and not enough veggies. Pork dumplings were good, however. Our waiter was very accommodating and although we stayed late for lunch, he did not hurry us."

"I have been to Street Kitchen several times and always had great food and exceptional service. Less so this past Wednesday, 23 Jan. Although the restaurant was not busy, our waitress asked for our order within 3 minutes of sitting down; she came back in 2 minutes after I told her we wanted more time. Much her theme the whole time we were eating.
The food - my friend had curry and said it was quite good. (I was glad since this was her first time at Street Kitchen.) I had the glazed short ribs; the preparation/plating changed from a prior time I had them. The ribs were sliced so thin and then cooked to shoe leather consistency. A definite challenge to chew. Is the restaurant doing this to cut back on food costs? Not a good sign."
