In 2001 the opening of Rendezvous Bistro changed the face of dining in Jackson Hole. Offering a fun and lively atmosphere paired with the knowledgeable service you expect and serving tasty American Bistro fare. This spirit is still alive today. Warm hospitality and an excellent value bring locals and visitors alike flocking to "The Bistro", sometimes returning 3-4 times in a week. A place you come to see your neighbors, family and friends. "This was possibly the worst dining experience I have had in a long time. They had changed the ravioli entree and didn't note that on the menu so when I ordered it the waitress came back and said it now has lamb in it. I didn't want the lamb so I decided to go with the scallops special. The waitress came back and said they were all out of scallops. It was only 7pm on Saturday evening. I then opted for the burger which was ultimately served way over cooked on stale bread. The tables are packed in to tight so I felt like I was dining with the group on either side of me. Overall I was disappointed."

"Again, the Bistro blew me away. We ordered the Mussels and Monk Fish and what a delight. The sauces were incredible and the Monk fish had a spicy chili sauce and was sitting a crimini mushroom "puddle" or sauce that was to die for. I practically licked the plate. The place was packed and for good reason. A no brainer to come here when you want an excellent meal. The wait staff was very attentive and very interested in how we liked the dishes and how we were doing overall."

"It's taken us a couple of years, but we finally stopped in to enjoy what all the fuss was about. Although not near Jackson town square, it's surely a local favorite which was evidenced by the line of 'em waiting for the doors to open for the evening. We arrived early and were seated immediately, though did have reservations just in case. We very much enjoyed the Bistro atmosphere, the great light, large wine list, fun specialty drinks, and spectacularly delicious dinner choices (Mmmm...duck!). The staff and managers mingled through the tables effortlessly, were on point, and very accommodating. The fun but relaxed atmosphere, wonderful food and great staff, the Bistro is indeed a new favorite!"

"Though we inadvertently picked an evening when the restaurant was serving a large number of high school prom-goers, my son and I had an outstanding dinner. The food was excellent; I would highly recommend the venison and the veal marsala entrees, though the spinach served with the veal was a bit tough. Our server was very pleasant and efficient. One of the best restaurants inJackson Hole!"

"The manager there is excellent. I am hard of hearing and generally request a booth in the corner where I can hear better. He always goes out of his way to see that we are accommodated and I so appreciate that. It is not always easy for him, I know.

"The Bistro is the perfect restaurant for every occasion, whether you're out for a relaxed date night or entertaining guests from out of town. I've never had a meal here that I didn't fully enjoy but my all-time favorite dish is the pork adobo. "We always make a point of going to Rendezvous Bistro whenever we're in Jackson. Usually I would give it the highest recommendation, but feel its slipping a little. Avoid at all costs the organic braised chicken. Feel it was braised in the Great Salt Lake! Super salty! Maybe just an off night for the Bistro, but disappointing non-the-less."

If you are unsure about what to order, ask your server for advice, they are always knowledgeable about the specials and menu items, and can help steer you in the right direction. "Food is always delicious, and interesting. Not your usual steak, ribs and salmon restaurant. Service is always delightful. There are plenty of good restaurants in Jackson but we always end up deciding to go back to the Bistro."

"From the moment we walked in I had a great feeling about this restaurant. We were fifteen minutes late for our reservation. the hostess accepted our apology and treated us graciously. While we waited for our table to be reset, we were treated with complimentary, delicious calimari. We started with rich, flavorful wild mushroom soup, followed by tender, tasty sea bass, ending with perfect chocolate bread pudding. The friendly, attentive service matched the high quality food. I highly recommend."

"Not so much. It was Valentines Day and very slow (but that shouldnt be a surprise to anyone - so how about hiring some more servers/runners - it comes around every year). We waited 15 minutes past our reservation. Others walked in and were seated w/o reservations (downside of having the waiting area by the hostess stand). Sorry, just wasnt worth the trip from Teton Village."

"This restaurant is one of our very favorites here in Jackson. Living here, we find that we gravitate to The Bistro for planned and unplanned dinners. Our favorite is to slip into the bar for a quick supper after the movies. Food is always good and the staff friendly and efficient."

"4 of us had a great dinner; managed to maintain an interesting conversation despite the ambient noise. Salads were great - ceasar, beet, and fennel-citrus-olive. No problem for those wanting dressing on the side. Entrees of squash ravioli, lamb ragu with gnocci, short rib sandwich, and goose special were all devoured! Waitress was efficient and helpful, as was the manager who advised on wine choice - a great Hunnicut red blend, which didn't overpower the lighter dishes. Prices were reasonable, too - about $225 with bottle of wine ($75), plus 3 individual glasses! Tip was additional."

"An always consisten, incredible dining experience at a reasaonble price. Went on a Wednesday and it wss fried chicken night. All five in my party ordered the chicken. We were all blown away. Any trip to Jackson Hole must include a stop here. One can easily understand why it is a local favorite."

"Rendezvous Bistro is always a hit! Great food, service & ambiance are waiting for you at this one of a kind restaurant in Jackson Hole. The menu is diverse & loaded with delectable culinary choices. There are, however, several "must haves" on the menu. The tuna tartar is the best I've had anywhere ever. And the different choices of oysters will undoubtedly knock your socks off. As far as the main course is concerned, the steak frites is by far my favorite. This time I opted for the venison tenderloin, a dish I would rarely order because I typically have deer meat at home I can cook for myself. It came to the table so rare, it scared my fellow diners. Two words; TENDER & DELICIOUS! This is one of the very best restaurant options in Jackson."
