"Pizza was absolutely delicious, but the pasta was flavorless and over cooked. Every person at our table had to add salt and said that the sauces lacked flavor. The kitchen needs to work on their timing. 6 people had nearly finished when the remaining 4 dinners finally came out. Cute atmosphere"
"I enjoyed the relaxed feel. However, our party was dissatisfied with the lack of service. We were there for almost two hours and the waitress checked on us only three times two of which were just to refill the waters without speaking to us. We also disliked that our food took an extremely long time to arrive. We would estimate it took 30-45 minutes for some mediocre pasta dishes. Overall the whole table was disappointed and would not recommend TOAST Enoteca & Cucina to our friends or family."
"Dined on thurs evening and enjoyed their $30 supper Club menu which included wine pairing. Was overall very satisfied with the meal which included shrimp bruchetta, Grilled romaine salad and Osso Bucco entree. Well worth the price."
"About our third or fourth time here. A great spot to go after a baseball game. Had pizza and appetizer and a bottle of wine. The food was good as usual, not as memorable as our previous visits. We had a very, very pleasant server, but, she knew very little about wine and what she did know in our case was wrong. Not a big deal, just amusing. Then, she delivered the wrong pizza and I ate it in silence due to being hungry. Seems she could get nothing right. Good looking, personable and nice to talk to. Not a waitress. Since they've installed the wine-by-the-oz-carousel-feeders it seems the ambiance has gone downhill... more crowded and noisier. Not too bad tho' I guess one should expect that sort of business decision from a small downtown San Diego restaurant mill."

"Very tasty Northern Italian food. Automated self serve wine tasting machines. Good chance to try new wines. But makes you realize that a one ounce serving is a tiny pour! Extensive wine list on an ipad."
