"We had a wonderful dinner. Staff was welcoming & helpful. We chose Fish Market for the seafood quality. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary and was a little disappointed that we weren't even so much as congratulated when the restaurant knew ahead of time of this occasion. The pricing was as expected...certainly not too high. The portions on the large side so we left totally full and worth the money. The carrot cake could have feed 5 people!"

"Delightful experience. Am not much of a seafood eater, but my guest was. However, the grilled tilapia was delicious, and the wait staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant. Service was prompt but not rushed. Great place to begin an evening or end a day. Would definitely recommend."

"We took my mother here to celebrate her 80th birthday. The waiter was very accomodating to her and her dietary needs. The entire family enjoyed their meal - raved about the crab cakes! We went during off hours with a late lunch at 2:00. It was quiet and easy for my parents to hear and participate in the conversation. Overall a great experience!"

"We have been to Columbus Fish Market many times and always enjoyed the food, service and ambience. We went with in-laws for Mother's Day. The experience was "good" but not as "great" as we have experienced before. The lobster bisque was not nearly as good as we have had previously. Service and ambience were fine. Everybody and everyplace has an off day; we will go back in the future."

"We are regulars here and like this restaurant a lot. One of the better fish restaurants in town.
There were 7 of us and every entry was served luke warm. We sent one item back to be heated. The server was nice but seemed a bit overwhelmed. Not one of our better experiences here. We will return but this was not a good dinner."

"I ordered a scallop dish and got 1 1/2 scallops and about a pound of new potatoes. I had to ask for how many ounces was to be expected. The manager said 4 oz. They brought me two scallops in a dish to make up for the shortage. My husband ordered lobster bisque and said there was no lobster. We felt that the prices were reasonable, had they not skimped on the seafood. At the rate they are going, Red Lobster has better, more generous fare."

"Restaurant very accommodating.. We thought we would be five or ten minutes late for our reservation that night. We called restaurant to let them know we were running late and they held our table. Actually we were only five minutes late. We were seated immediately and our waiter was very accommodating and made us feel welcome. Not one of those restaurants where you wonder if the waiter left or on brake. Everything from our drinks to the food very good. We would recommend it and have to our special friends when we wanted to have great evening out."

"My boyfriend and I went to CFM for his belated birthday dinner and made reservations for 8:30 on a Saturday night. When we arrived, I checked in and less than 5 minutes later we were being seated. The place was packed and we were sat at a table at the kitchen entrance so it made conversation very difficult to hold.
Our waiter was inattentive and often missed refills/courses and could be seen doing many other duties instead.
All in all, our mojitos were the best we've had, and the food while smaller was just as we anticipated but the prices the same. The poor service may have just been a fluke and bad timing on our part."

"Our party of four each selected a different seafood dish and each was more than satisfied. Presentation was very pleasing and portions were ample. Seafood gumbo was best ever. "celebrated my son's graduation here from The Ohio State University (very close to campus). The service was prompt and friendly. We started with signature cocktails, a delicious spinach crab appetizer and raw oysters. The complimentary bread is delicious - crusty outside, soft inside! We each had soup or salad (house salad, seafood bisque and clam chowder) - delicious! For main we had the calamari appetizer, the shrimp special (which included salad and dessert), crab cakes, a seafood triple with scallops, blackened fish, and another item I can't remember! The shark fin dessert was great as was the creme brûlée and featured ice cream. Add one espresso and one coffee - and it was a great celebration for just over $50/per, incl. tip!"

"We chose this restaurant for our daughter's graduation celebration and left dissatisfied. The seafood selections were just ok and the chicken dish I ordered was over cooked so much that I couldn't even cut it the one piece with a knife. Our server didn't check back with us until we were almost finished with our meal. He offered to supply another piece of chicken but by this time the others had finished their dinner. The manager came by and offered the same and recited an apology. I thought that a comped dessert would have made up for chicken faux pas but that wasn't an option. Save your money and go somewhere else to get what you pay for."

"The calimari I ordered was salty and greasy. This was offset by the scallops which were succulent, tender and truly excellent as were the cold water lobster-tails my wife ordered. The creme brulee was truly disappointing. the crust was smooth and glassy, while the creme had the consistency of vanilla pudding, was cold and tasted like cheap custard. The service was excellent, our waitress was prompt, courteous and attentive and helped make the experience much better that is would have been otherwise."

And the Columbus Fish Market. I never tire of the place, though my bank account sometimes does. If your on a budget, get their lobster special or the seafood gumbo soup unlimited sourdough bread.
My dad, 86 gets in there easily, only eats steak and enjoyed theirs.
My 6 yr old loved the kids menu for coloring, the virgin piña colada, and the waitress!"

"I had an excellent piece of tuna. My husband had halibut but the preparation recommended by the server was not good on it - the Asian style, just overwhelmed the delicate taste of halibut. The wine list is rather overpriced."

"We have been to the FM Grandview many times ever since it first opened. The food has always been great, and it was on this occasion, but the service was poor.
It took our waiter three tries to bring us the correct bottle of wine we ordered and upon correcting him he says, "Are you sure?" By the time we got the right wine we were already 20 minutes into our entrees. Entrees were placed in front of the wrong people--no biggie but they should know better. Table was cleared and we waited 15 minutes to be asked if we wanted coffee or dessert. Tea was ordered and a small pot of hot water and a cup were delivered but no tea!?
We were at Lindy's the week before and had excellent grouper with impeccable service for roughly the same price."

"I dine at this location at least 8/12 times per year and have always enjoyed my dining experience; whether it is a special occasion with my spouse, or a business lunch with visitors to Columbus, the Fish Market has always met my expectations. On this most recent occasion my business guest were from the Orlando, Florida area. They were extremely delighted with their lunch selections and they are both in the nutrition business! One is a physican, the other the CEO of their successful Wellness organization, and they raved about the Fish Market experience. So thank you Fish Market for coming through once again with outstanding offerings and quality service!"

"The Columbus Fish Market was a cozy venue for a small 50th wedding anniversary celebration. The manager greeted us at the door and escorted us to our table. He introduced us to our server who treated us like royalty the entire evening. The manager seated my mother and presented her with a long stemmed rose. Then he served us sparkling cider in champagne flutes. Our lovely waitress cheerfully supplied our every need and desire. When she realized my mother was disappointed with her entrée, she surprised her with another. The spinach salads and clam chowder were hits. The blackened trout was the best entrée at the table. The evening ended with complimentary desert for my parents."
