The perfect Hollywood dinner party: eclectic atmosphere, dapper décor, delicious cuisine, dancing, and good company. Lexington brings a Hollywood supper club-style dining experience.
While the interiors of Lexington offer guests multiple dining experiences from an intimate dinner for two to a more social experience with dining at the carrara marble bar, the exterior offers an entirely different evening out. Truly a gathering place, the garden patio is an outdoor room with an indoor vibe, complete with cocktail seating, a fireplace, tree canopies and its own bar. At Lexington Social House the art of lounging is a simply a matter of taste.
"Odd the chef would not split their chopped salad we were sharing as appetizer and the server asked how the food was before we had taken one bite. Overall good experience."

"Read the reviews and decided to try a new place for a birthday dinner with our daughter who lives in Hollywood. When we arrived for a 6:30 p.m. reservation there was only one other table with people. The menu appeared different than what was on their web site. Crab cakes were good, but the rissoto was not up to what you would expect. Pork chop okay, but not nothing to order again. While a few more people showed up the restaurant did not live up to its marketing, including its food."

"We went to the Lexington because we read about it and saw it on the hotel TV, it was supposed to be some hot spot. I ordered shrimp risotto and it was four grilled shrimp around a pile of rice, not risotto, very disappointing. It might be a cool place to go for drinks on a weekend but that's about it."

"Staff is always friendly. Food is great. This is the perfect quite spot in the early evening if you want to grab dinner before seeing a show at the Pantages or ate night partying. Although be careful when it's late at night and you are waiting for your car from the valet...(which takes forever), because there are a lot of people who have had one too many and are all over the place and there are plenty of pick pockets...my friend had their wallet stolen."

"Patio was booked for private party. Would have enjoyed eating outside. Lots of separate spaces, all a little different. Created with the idea to eat dinner in one space, move to after dinner drinks in another, then head to club section with music all under one roof without driving. Our dinner was a little early to participate in all the fun- we had tickets to the Pantages. Food was good, cocktails refreshing. Would like to return for a later reservation to get the full experience."

"Love the trendy decor. Great stop to eat dinner before going to Pantages or the Laugh Factory. Good is creative and very tasty. Interesting combinations but a lot of standard dishes too. Charcuterie board, scallops, mac & cheese, meatballs, cauliflower dishes were favorites. Great cocktails and decent wine list."

"Our waiter Jason was a perfect prelude to West Side Story that evening. He was very knowledgeable, personable and vibrant. The menu was very unique; items like the Bulgar Balls, Spinach, and the Fried Gnocchi. We'll be back for sure!"

"Poor service: Ordered ice tea was not served until reminded towards end. Need to ask for more coffee or tea (waiter not readily available to see what customer needs) Valet parking takes too long waiting for the car outside (cars driven to other location & valet person has to walk back couple of blocks)."

"This was our first time at Lexington. It came highly recommended by a friend. We enjoyed the ambience and decor, the service was attentive and friendly and they kept us on course to make our show at the Pantages (without feeling rushed). All the food choices were tasty, especially the diver scallops! I would definitely eat there again, whether or not I was seeing a show. I hear Wednesday nights there is jazz and a super special pizza menu. I'd love to make there!"

"I really enjoy every visit to Lexington Social House - The cocktail menu screams 'mixology' and the staff is friendly and accommodating! Their menu is more suited for the carnivorous types with American cravings, but go here for their monkey bread and anything else on their dessert menu! It was quiet and fairly empty for a Tuesday night, so don't expect this to be a hustllin' bustlin' Hollywood go-to place!"

"The food and the atmosphere were both great. The decor is funky, cute & chic. The food was well prepared, seasoned well and portioned appropriately for two or even three to share. The Monkey Bread was FANTASTIC! Its been three days and I am still talking about it and craving it again. Well done Lexington Social House! Everyone will enjoy this place."

"I was skeptical after reading the Open Table reviews, but still wanted to try someplace new and convenient to the Pantages. We were more than pleasantly surprised! We split a burrata salad that was yummy, and my seafood pasta was delicious--would definitely order it again. My friend enjoyed the salmon special. The creme brulee was decent. The service was helpful and efficient, and our food was hot. We left our car with the valet for the play ($6.50? $7?) and the wait wasn't too long to get it at the end of the evening. Would definitely come back again!"

"Everything we had was fantastic! I can not say enough great things-fresh herbs in everything-salads, soup, shrimp risotto was outstanding. We topped it off with the money bread with banana ice cream-it was huge and worth every bite at the gym the next day. The wine bottles were 1/2 off on Weds and live jazz music. We could not have had a better evening. Service was also great-Jason was very attentive. I appreciated the phone call the next day asking how everything was-I have never had that happen before!!! I have had catering events were I spent $$$$ at restaurants and have not gotten a phone call afterwards. This restaurant sets the bar high."

"Perfect spot before the theater. With the parking lot next door and the theater a quarter block away it is an ideal spot for dinner before the theater. The staff was friendly, the food was better than good and the decor was attractively eclectic. My only complaint was that some of the dishes were taken away too soon. This is my new spot to eat before the theater."

"We visited on A Sunday. There were four other people in the restaurant. Our server was hnowedgeable and friendly. We ordered a bottle of wine and some bread and butter. It took over 15 minutes for the wine to arrive. When the bread came, we asked about the wine. The person with the bread told us he wasn't our waiter and walked away. My ravioli was warm, not hot. It seemed as if it had been sitting for the rest of our order. All our food was very tasty though. Why do restaurants start clearing patron's plates while others at the table are still eating? It makes the rest of the party feel rushed."

"Sadly some of the items on the menu weren't available, even though the menus were new. That took the rating down as did the timing of food. A bit of wait time between courses and the food wasn't hot when served (entrees) merely warm. Indicated someone fired them and let them sit. Convenient to the theater. I know a table near us left because of the delay between appetizers and mains and they were going to the theater. The wait staff was pleasant and competent."

"Our waiter (Jason or Justin?) was perfect, as was the Seafood Tagliatelle! The pork chop was a bit dry and lacked any color on the plate... even a sprig of parsley would have spruced it up. The roasted pear salad didn't have as much flavor as we'd hoped, but the beet and fried goat cheese salad was pretty good. Stumbled onto the 1/2 price wine bottles on Wednesdays, which was an awesome find. Had a great time, which was helped by the $50 off Travelzoo deal we were there on. The Seafood Tagliatelle was the only really great dish we ordered, but the service and ambiance were terrific."

"This seems to be a diamond in the rough of the Hollywood area. The staff is friendly and the menu has a plethora of delightful options for any palate. I went on a Sunday night and it was practically empty, which is a shame. I would recommend this to any and every person - even those reluctant to dine in Hollywood. The valet was affordable as well!"

"First off I read a review for gourmet fried chicken and was pleased with the plate and taste. We also ordered the cauliflower dish and loved it also. I have been to Lexington and expected a vast array of bourbon selections but found the bar limited in options. The decor was very reminiscent of a couple of Lexington establishments I visited there so it was very comfortable."

"I can now see why this is a three star. It is an average restaurant with a good location near the theatre. The atmosphere is a bit too much. It felt like they were trying to hard and the the tables were a little tight. The service was good, but very slow. Get there really early if you have a show to get to.
The food gets mixed reviews. My husband said that he had some of the best lamb he has ever had (can't confirm - I don't eat it) but my my chicken was just good. The only thing I can say is that none of the food was inspired. When I go out for a nice dinner I want a little WOW factor and the food at the Lexington had no WOW.
That being said I would probably consider this place again, since it is so near the Pantages."

"I went to the Lexington Social House with 3 friends because of a 30% off coupon and because it's around the corner from the Pantages Theater. What a great surprise and a find! Definitely will go back again - glad the coupon got me to try it.
One friend and I each had their amazing pork chop, another had the scallops, and the fourth had the salmon special. We all raved about the food and we also shared a nice bottle of wine. Hands down we all agreed that it's a perfect pace to visit again, and their bar looked really cool as a place to grab a drink while in Hollywood.
Another bonus is that we got to valet park our car for $6.50 and walk 1/2 a block to the theater after dinner."

"The food was very good. The only problem we encountered was that they were very short handed and the waiters, who were excellent, couldn't keep up. It took us a very long time to get our food and we had theatre tickets. We gave ourselves 2 hours and that should've been enough time for dinner prior to the show. We were rushed."

"Service by Molly (?) was EXCELLENT. She was super friendly, funny, and knew the menu well. We had some excellent cocktails (the Lexington is delicious), and good food. As a vegan, I was a little disappointed that there weren't more options but what I had (wheat gluten with veggies) was very tasty. My non-vegan friend LOVED the fried jidori chicken."

"Food was Very Good, but that was Completely Ruined by the Total lack of attention to detail as it pertains to Service... I will probably not recommend this establishment to anyone, in the near future, for dinner. There were 6 of us that decided to have dinner prior to a Member Event that was being held within the Social House. It took forever to get cocktails, the plate serving times for the table were split and delayed by at least 10 minutes, we did not have requests for additional cocktails fulfilled the rest of the meal, I paid for a desert I never received, wait staff did and Auto-Grat on the entire meal, went to express my frustration to management and was answered with a "Sorry about that...""

"I arrived late for my reservation. The staff provided me with a courtesy call, as the kitchen was going to close. They were willing to place my dinner order on the phone and answer every one of my questions. If one did not have the answer, they would find someone who did. Our server was very friendly and thorough. The food was outstanding. I had the Jadori (sp?) chicken. Fried chicken was juicy and flavorful with the perfect crunch. The greens and mashed potatoes accompanied the chicken perfectly. The livlier room featured "outdoor tent-like" ambiance, modern furnishings, a fireplace and a full bar. This is a crowd of professionals an entrepreneurs, who love to party and mingle. The DJ played a mix of hiphop, old skool and dance."

"We came here during the DineLA Restaurant Week with my husband. We wouldn't have known about this place otherwise. The atmosphere/ambiance of the restaurant was eclectic and comfortable. We had the Crab Cake and the Meatballs for the starters-both were extremely delicious. The main course was Shrimp Risotto, and Ricotta Gnocchi. I really didn't want to even share one bite of my risotto, but hubby had to taste. It was scrumptious. Hubby had the gnocchi, and it had the same sauce as the meatballs, which he loved! We ended with a blackberry cheesecake, and a chocolate mousse cake - we shared both and our sweet tooth was satiated! We looked at the regular menu and have our meals chosen for our next visit! We will definitely be back!"

"Meatballs were good not extraordinary. Ceasar salad was good not extraordinary. Server was very nice. Noise level was very loud (and we left before it even started getting too crowded!) Dining room decor was hip and cool, but COLD in room temp. Thinking that the hard wood flooring everywhere without any rugs or carpeting, anywhere, contributed to the cold temp and the loudness. Patio with fire pit looked great but since we were there in January, didn't spend time out there. Looked like a good place to hang and have drinks with friends when the weather gets warmer. Lastly, the valet parking sign reads $5.00, but that's only for the place next door. It's $6.50 if you're going to Lexington House. The sign doesn't say that."
