"As always, the food was fresh and delicous. I cannot visit Ornella without ordering their special pasta dish -- chestnut pasta with pistachio sauce. It is as delectable as it is unique. The owner, Giuseppe, is always so welcoming. Mother's Day is usually the worst day of the year to eat out, but not at Ornella's. We had a reservation, were seated right away and the food and service were as excellent as usual."

"We just had a Mother's Day lunch at Ornella after finding the reviews from OT to be somewhat good. The place is so tiny and it clearly is stated in most reviews. Food was just okay especially that they only had a mother's day menu for lunch/dinner for $42.oo/pp. I can get better Italian food for the price. Servers were young and unprofessional. One server spilled red wine on my son's jacket and all over the table cloth. Felt rushed every time they came and not at all friendly. Would not recommend nor go back to this joint!"

"Unfortunately the day we were there, there was a large party that took most of the staff's attention making our service less than adequate. The restaurant is small, and although the folks there are well meaning, I don't think they were able to handle the other tables because of the birthday celebration. The food was OK but not great. I hope to visit again one day and perhaps get a better experience."

"The food was good, but the service was not. I had heard so much about Ornella and was looking forward to trying it, but was very disappointed in the service! The waiters were not friendly at all, I even heard one of them cursing under his breath about something as he walked by. 3 waiters were at our table & their attitude was horrible! It would be great to go back for the food, but probably won't because of the service."

"This was my first time in the restaurant. I choose it to celebrate my birthday with my family. I would recommend it to everybody. The food was so tasteful, I have not eaten food like that for a long time. Of course I had to try Ornella special duck meatballs and chestnut pasta .... Both dishes to die for."

"Love the quiet, relaxed "Tuscan" atmosphere at Ornella. Had the spaghetti carbonara which was the best I've ever had! Pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. My dining partner had the seafood risotto, also delicioso! Prices are very reasonable, love that you can get 1/2 carafe of wine which is about 4 glasses, just enough for two."

"Second visit and way less impressed. Due to the smallness of the space, deliveries came in through the very tight dining area. Had to send several dishes back. Forgot black olives in one pasta dish, leaving the dish bland to see and taste. Could not have been more apologetic about the dishes that were returned. They were delicious the second time around. Maybe this was an off day. Will give it one more try because I loved it so on my first time."

"I picked this place based on good reviews to go out for my birthday. I was hugely disappointed. We did not feel like our wine glasses were clean and asked the waiter to bring new ones or clean them again. Everything went downhill from there. The waiter gave us major attitude; the food took forever, overall completely ruined my birthday. Also, the table was way too small for 4 people – hardly any space to fit our dishes. It might be a nice spot for local people that know the waiters, but won't recommend to anyone."

"Had a wonderful birthday lunch. Wonderfully warm and inviting, from the decor to the service. Very quiet at lunch and could not have been happier. This allowed us to talk with Giuseppe and his son Giovanni, who are both charming and gracious. We began with prosciutto and pears. Delish! Chestnut pasta with pistachios, finished with truffle oil was unique and mouthwatering. The imbustata was equally terrific. I am not a tiramisu fan, but this was light and delicately flavored. Even had a candle in it to make it festive and celebratory! Couldn't stop eating it. Can't wait to return."

"Ornella's was superb as usual. I had a lamb shank for the first time there which was very very good and accompanied by homemade fusilli that was fabulous. We can never resist the duck meatballs for the appetizer and they never disappoint. We tried a moderately priced Sangiovese and it was very good."

"I've been a few times, this restaurant always puts out consistently outstanding food. Pasta dishes are outstanding. Owner is always around, checking on tables, making sure the food going out is up to par. I took my coworkers out to lunch here and they were also very impressed with both the food and the service.
