Jaguar's unique philosophy incorporates menu items showcasing traditional tastes and textures throughout Latin America. Signature items feature traditional favorites with a contemporary flair from Mexico, Peru, Argentina, and Chile.
Jaguar’s menu offers a broad canvas of spices and ingredients with perfectly balanced presentation of each dish to showcase its individuality.
"Delightful dining experience. Spoons were fabulous, our meals were slurp- the- last- bit- from-the-plate. Wish I had had room for dessert, they sounded wonderful. It is SouthAmerican, Cuban, Mexican fusion with some very interesting and different subtleties. Actually better than authentic cuisine. The owner ( or one of them, I'm not sure) circulated constantly making sure every diner felt attended to, in addition to what the waiters were doing. Not that our Antonio missed a thing. The only drawback was the lack of noise dampening. It was hard to hold a conversation and to hear the waiter."

"We arrived a little late from my reservation time due to parking meter issues but the hostess was very nice and sat us down right away. I had been here once a very long time ago, so since we were going to the Improve in the Grove that night I suggested this restaurant to our friends and they did not let me down. The attention from the manager and the servers was on point and the food was very good. Our friends and us loved the entire experience."

"As always, the food was great, specially the Chicken Tortilla Lasagna (my favorite). On this visit, my two sons were first timers and enjoyed the ceviche dishes."

"The service was slow but it was Mothers day after all. We arrived an hour earlier than our reservation and were seated within 5 minutes. The waiter wasnt as attentive as we wouldve liked but in his defense it was very busy and he was not rude. We saw him probably twice in the two hourse we were there. Either way he was nice. The food is worth it all though! My mom had a great meal and raved about it for the next two days!"

"I live a few blocks from Jaguar and have found it to be our go-to semi-special occasion place. Whether its a friend in town, wanting a relaxing nice night out, or a little bit bigger of a group, Jaguar is a great option. There are a variety of price-point options and without drinks you can get out of there rather inexpensively. That being said, their sangria & mojitos are both excellent and should be ordered.
They also have most of their menu offered at lunch for $14 with a soft drink."

"My wife and I were in Miami for 1 night. We found Jaguar through Open Table and boy were we glad. When we asked the concierge our hotel about Jaguar she said "mmm, delicious". We were not disappointed. Jaguar had an excellent array or latin inspired dishes - including Colombian, and Peruvian! Dinner was excellent and the flavors were exquisite! The drinks were also very well made. We highly recommend this restaurant for a great relaxed night out!"

"Did not enjoy food although edible but pricey for what it was. A simple grilled mahi w/Caesar salad @21 is expensive when can get same for $12 at Monty's. don't plan to return unless invited."

"I found this restaurant by doing a search for gluten free restaurants in coconut grove. I called the restaurant in advance to ask if they would be able to accommodate me (I'm gluten and dairy free) and they reassured me they had many options available.
It was very busy and the restaurant was packed when we arrived. If you drive, park in the coconut walk garage since it is literally next door. We luckily had a reservation and were seated immediately.
I explained to the server about my restrictions and he told me they would be able to modify most of the items but needed to know what I was considering. I immediately asked about the ceviche. He knew exactly which ones were safe for me to eat. I ordered a medium Los cabos ceviche and"

"Every time when we stay in Coconut Grove we make a point to dine at Jaguar. The ceviche selections are exceptionally fresh and creative. Can't tell you about the rest of the menu because we always order our favorites on every visit - the Lasagne and the Crab Corn Cakes. And if you like Key Lime pie, then be sure and try the Key Lime Creme Brulee. Pucker up!"

"We were tourists and this restaurant was recommended to us. If you want a loud restaurant with moderately priced Mexican food, I would recommend it. The food was good but the atmosphere was not what we had expected."

"The restaurant had lots of empty tables when my party arrived and yet the hostess tried to seat us at the worst located table (right next to her); when we requested an outside table, she again tried to put us at a table right next to the door raher than in a quieter corner. I don't like having to refuse a table and having to do so twice when there was lots of room gave the evening an awkward start. Our server was excellent and was able to provide lots of details and recommendations. We began with the ceviche spoon samplers and they were varied and delicious. The main courses (two of us had crab cakes, one had shrimp tacos and the fourth, the daily special of salmon in puff pastry) were very good as well but not outstanding."

"We had a wonderful time and the food was excellent. The atmosphere was up, a little noisy but not overwhelming. I strongly recommend the restaurant to anyone. Try the Piso Sour, but watch out it sneaks up on you. :)"

"Looking for great latin cuisine? Search no more. This venue was recommended by the Concierge at Doral Resort and has lived up to our expectations. There were 6 of us there and 3 were vegetarians. Not a problem. The rice and veggie platter was suitable for everyone. I had the scallops which were excellent and another colleague had the Mahi Mahi special. Nice tropical flavors, well prepared and quite reasonable. This could be a place I would come back on a regular basis. Very good service."

"I al mexican and very proud of Mexican food. I normally don't go to Mexican restaurants outside Mexico, but I read some good reviews and I must say it was fantastic. The ceviches, the Mexican lasagna and everything else was just great!!! Service was superb, I would gladly recommend it. My children were also very happy with their food, they the tacos de cochinita pibil."

"We went on a Monday night, so the crowd was not there. The restaurant still had more people than expected. The food, service, and scene were all good. I could even see myself hanging out at the bar for a drink or two on a busy night. I would definitely return for the ceviche as week as other menu items. My only complaint comes with our table. I went with my wife and we were seated by the door on a chilly night at a two seat table. It was cold and there were other seats/tables available in the restaurant. If you plan on ordering anything you will need more space. The menus and bread will cover the table immediately."

"We were visiting Miami on the way to another destination and Jaguar caught our eye during an internet search of restaurants in the area we were staying. We went for dinner one night and liked everything so much that we went back for lunch the next day and then again on our way back through Miami several days later. The food, the drinks and the ambiance were all very, very good."

"We have been to Jaguar many times and love it. We did have to wait an hour for a table for 4 outside (the only place where the noise level is such that you can carry on a conversation) but, we had not made reservations (priority seating at this restaurant). However, even with the wait, the overall dining experience lived up to our expectations. The food was exceptional, particularly the cerviche. The only detraction is the interior noise level."
