"This place had mixed reviews online, but my boyfriend and I decided to try it out for ourselves. The atmosphere is nice, quiet, & would be great for a romantic dinner or special occasion. The lighting is dark inside, which I prefer to overly harsh lighted restaurants. We started with drinks and the crabcake appetizer, which was delicious. Crispy on one side and delicate on the other with 2 sauces to choose from. I had to try an oyster also for obvious reasons. I'm not big into raw seafood, but the oyster was so fresh and just seemed to melt in my mouth. I indulged in the scampi style surf and turf which is a steal at the price of only $29.99! It was cooked perfectly and was a generous portion. He got the Chilean sea bass which was delish!"

"The ambiance was wonderful. The music was low enough that we could talk with each other yet we could hear what was playing. The service was beyond good. This was my wife's 70th and i have to say it was probably the best dining experience we have ever had .I commented to my wife that it was like being on a cruise without the water."

"We visited Wilkes Barre for a concert at the Kirby Center, over a special birthday celebration weekend. We found the restaurant site online and later discovered it was located within walking distance to the theatre and at the Best Western, so we booked a room overnight to make the celebration more complete and relaxed.
The food, wine list and service were exceptional start to finish. Donna, was our server & she she truly made our evening with her genuine willingness to go above and beyond, as well as her complete attention to detail ... including the lighted birthday dessert!!!
We could tell from the website that the restaurant was probably going to be good, but topped off with a lovely brunch at Oysters-it was perfection!"

"Great romantic atmosphere and an upscale menu. The chef had his work cut out for him when I ordered scallops that I requested dark and crispy outside but tender inside-they came out perfect and altho initially I was afraid of the the caper sauce topping-it was so perfectly subtle that it really complimented the dish. Our server, Phil was the best-professional, polite and attentive, yet so down to earth that you just want him to pull up a chair and join you-He makes you feel as though you've been going there for years-and bartender Joe is a witty gem of a guy also.

"A nice surprise. We were looking for a Valentine's Day dinner in a quiet but nice place. My husband likes oysters so we drove an hour to reach the restaurant and were plesantly surprised. The food was very good, the filet excellent.....charred on the outside and cooked to perfection inside. The waiter was a bit hurried but knew his menu perfectly. It was a nice find and we would definitley go back again!"

"I'll tell you I was a bit surprised/concerned upon arrival that this restaurant is in a Best Western Hotel. However having made reservations and arranged to meet business acquaintances at the restaurant there was no turning back. Then, thankfully, the atmosphere was nice, the service was excellent and the food was amazing, best eggplant parmesan I've ever had. The chef also prepared a vegetarian appetizer, complimentary, as there were none to be had on the menu. I plan business trips here a couple times a year and I will definitely return."

"Found the place to be excellent. Waiter was perfect, and enjoyed the cigar bar. Great place in Wilkes-Barre to dine. Highly recommend it. I had the Surf & Turf, my cousin had the Prime Rib. Both were cooked exactly how we requested them, and served in a timely manner. The had excellent taste."
