"we had an antipasto for 3 plus a nice bottle of chardonnay plus entree and coffee and found the price to be reasonable. We had the veal parmesan and a chicken dish. We made substitutions that were allowed cheerfully. Everything was very very good and we enjoyed th dinner and the service. We recommended it to our friends and they reported a similar experience. We now have a go to neighborhood restaurant with first class food."

"Bruno's is our favorite Italian restaurant in the Denver area. The staff is always attentive and helpful, and very appreciative that you are there. Everything I have had on the menu is fantastic. You HAVE to start with the Italian Margarita. We can't pass up the mozzarella appetizer. I had the Chilean Seabass special on this visit, and it was incredible. Beautiful white fish, seared perfectly and flavorfully. We look for reasons to dine out at Bruno's!"

"It’s simple, if you want quality Italian food you drive over to Bruno’s. The food is paradise for your taste buds. The service was excellent and prices are affordable.
The daily specials are fantastic and I recommend the mixed seafood with pasta, one of the best specials.

"Bruno's was a bit hard to find, hidden in the back of a non-descript strip center, but it was well worth the search. The food was excellent, especially the Chicken Marsala...to die for! The portions are VERY generous and we took at least a full meal home too! Don't miss this neighborhood gem where the owner personally greets you and checks in frequently to make sure everything is to your liking!"

"We had a special dinner for six, meeting the new in-laws for the first time, and wanted it to be just right. Bruno's did not disappoint! The food was excellent -- I had pork shank and my wife had a chicken/pasta dish, both well prepared. We had some Chianti. Suggestions to Brunos: One very small dish of olive oil is inadequate for a party of six. I asked twice for some more, did not come until the third ask to another waiter."

"Don't let the run-down strip mall location stop you for coming to this nice little place. Bruno's defines the true neighborhood gem--tucked away and appreciated by those lucky people who know and appreciate it. While Bruno's is very low key, they serve up first rate "home cooked" Italian classics. We tried the osso bucco and ciopppino and were very pleased with the quality; serving sizes were not too small and not too large--just right. Service was pleasant, informed, and patient. While the decorating is stale and dated, the food and service are really want you want, and you will be pleased that you took a chance on this out of the way gem."

"This year's 52.80 event brought a friend and I(again) to Buno's. We selected the red snapper which another friend had recommended. It was succulent! I do want to return when they have the pork shank in a wine sauce on the menu. I don't think I could ever have enough of that. I like the open spaciousness and light from translucent windows, which are enhanced by large circles of clear glass. The music was mostly operas I enjoy and wasn't too loud. A lovely evening."

"Fettuccine Alfredo was very good. The sauce had a unique sweet flavor. Spaghetti was average for the flavor of the sauce was different. The chairs were somewhat uncomfortable and the room was a little crowded. The spaghetti was a little overpriced. I would come back for the fettuccine. Service was average, but was expected because the restaurant was packed in pretty good (5280 week)."

"We went with 2 other couples. 2 couples ordered off the 5280 menu and the other off the menu. The best were the Roman Fried Artichokes! Everyone enjoyed their food, and, there was plenty left for take home for dinner the next night. I don't think you can go wrong here. Service and price were both great. "I can only assume that the location is the reason more people do not know about this place. The food is amazing. The service is fantastic. The polenta app may be the best in Denver! You can't go wrong here. It is in a run-down strip mall at Evans and Monaco, but don't be fooled. This place is a hidden gem. The upside about the location is that there is PLENTY of parking. :-)"

"My mother, wife and I recently went to Bruno's for a birthday dinner for my mother. We shared a very nice risotto for an appetizer. For entrees we had the Pan Seared Salmon, Shrimps Parmigiana and the Chicken Scampi. We had an Italian Pinot to accompany the meal. Everything as excellent. We shared samples from each others plates, and everyone enjoyed each of the entrees. For desert we had the espresso mousse cake and each had an espresso-tini cocktail. Excellent!
I did check "good for groups," but I will add with the caveat that it is a small group and that arangements be made before hand, as Bruno's is not a large restaura"

"We greatly enjoyed a nice evening with true Italian music (that is in Italian) and great food. We had the fried polenta upon another review. Very nice in a sauce we could not let the waitress take away. Instead we asked for more soft french bread to clean up the last drops. The special was lemon sole on linguini. We asked to split the dish so we'd have room for the apetizer and desert. The two plates that came out clearly had two full portions. What a treat (except to our over full stomachs.) The fish was very fresh (not frozen) and tasted like few fish taste in Colorado restaurants. For desert, why lemon cake of course. It was most creamy and rich. A very nice evening, indeed."
