"I took my best girl here. Food was great, service was ok, but the view was da bomb. Then I took my girl up to the observation deck and she told me I was her favorite man. It was a pleasurable experience."

"Живая музыка и кухня выше всяких похвал. Рекомендованные официантом , Catfish, нудлз, креветки и кальмары, были изумительны. Когда принесли рыбу, казалось не осилим, такая большая. Съели все!! :-) , но при этом, еда такая легкая, что не было абсолютно никакого ощущния переедания. Очень рекомендую."

"The music was outstanding. The food was awesome. The ambience was inviting, attractive, and entertaining. I wish that my food server was more attentive. I wish that I was informed about the cover charge when I made the reservation."

"I was fortunate to become familiar with Typhoon when I was located temporarily at the Santa Monica Airport. Lunch or dinner, it is great! The view of the SM Airport runway is awesome. You can actually see all the way west to the ocean and on a clear day, east to the Hollywood sign! The food is a wonderful array of Asian-Pacific dishes with the Mongolian Beef or Mongolian Lamb both absolutely awesome. Hearty servings makes these more than enough for two meals IF you can resist horking it all down in one sitting. The gelato (chocolate) is reminiscent of an old Fudge Bar...made with REAL milk...cream I'm sure in this instance. It is a feast for the senses and worth the trip!"

"It is a notch below PF Chang's for Americanized Asian Food. Garlic noodles are just spaghetti noodles with garlic butter. Short ribs were so tough and chewy, it was almost like jerky. It is barely Asian food with absolutely no authenticity, but some dishes are decent. It was extremely loud and we were barely able to have a conversation on a Friday night. Service was fantastic."

"After a horrid experiance at typhoon 3 years ago we vowed never to return, thought we would give it one last shot last week after a last moment dinner meeting came up and the over all service and food was a lot better so I thought I would take the family there for dinner a week later, service again let this place down, waited 10 mins for someone to come and take our drink order, food was ok but not great. This once great little gem has lost it's draw. Service, food and menu items need to drastically improve before we return."

"I love Typhoon for pleasure or business--or a mix of both. It's a great place for doing business even in the evening after work--as long as your clients are open-minded. Mine clearly enjoyed it. I can't recall having a negative experience here in many years as a patron. I do remember some very good times. I still need to stick around some Monday evening for their jazz concerts. This place is amazing!"

"Not only a great venue for a 3 year old airplane buff, but for his foodie elders. Loved the honey walnut shrimp, pho, and fried rice with pineapple, shrimp, raisins were loved by all. Very, very, friendly staff. Wente chardanay good and reasonably priced."

"Good spot for a bite when at Barker Hangar for an art show or at Airport complex on business. Interesting array of pan-Asian choices among which Thai dishes are the best."

"Forgot that Tuesdays usually featured musical entertainment tonight. Manager called me to inform. So we agreed to have the cover charge added to our bill. One of the best impulsive decisions my wife and I ever made. Mostly female band, Keiko Okamoto and the L.A. Salsa Divas were superb. Of course, the food never disappoints. Had Mongolian lamb with buns, house-made kimchi, and Burmese tea salad."

"Enjoyed the experience because the food was fresh and well prepared and would go back BUT: we asked for edamame without salt and it was served with salt AND we asked for our steamed fish to be served with the head and tail removed and guess what--it was served with head and tail. In both cases the waiter whisked away the flawed item and returned promptly with its replacement but it definitely made me think twice about bringing a client for dinner. I would go with friends and think of it as a casual neighborhood night out."
