"For a 30$ steak it had way too much fat on it. It was cooked well, but very salty. I have gotten better steaks for half of the price at other places. Our waitress was sub-par, seeing that she was not even the one to bring us our food, and there was hardly anyone else there for dinner at the time. It makes you wonder who to give the tip to. Upon leaving, one of the other waiters did not even hold the door for my fiancée as we were leaving, even though he made clear eye contact with both of us. For an 85$ bill we were very let down in terms of both food and service. We had heard many great things about Grants, but we do not see ourselves making another visit anytime soon."

"We were there for Mother's Day Brunch. Great service! The menu had a great variety of choices. There were four of us and we all ordered something different. Every meal was perfect. This is one of our favorite restaurants in town. You cannot go wrong."

"I chose Grant's for Mother's Day Brunch and could not have been more satisfied. We were seated promptly, our waitress was very pleasant and knowledgable. The food was excellent. We were provided a complimentary baked goods basket with mini muffins baked in-house. We ordered the fried dough which is a must have. I personally had the Challah French Toast with Candied Bacon, Walnuts, Vanilla Infused Pineapples and blueberries with real maple syrup. It was out of this world! My mom had the Lemon Scented Buttermilk Pancakes with Corned Beef Hash as a side order. Also a great choice. The noise level was just right; not too quiet but not so loud where you couldn't have an intimate brunch. Overall, could not have been more pleased."

"Even with a fairly small menu, the choices are delightful, and you can't go wrong with any single one item. The food and service are both fantastic. The decor and dress code allow for a wonderful date night! Will definitely return over and over again."

"I'm not sure what Grant's wants to be now. It's been oddly remodeled since my last visit, and seems to be focused on (loud) happy hour business. The menu is a bit odd as well. In the past I would have characterized this as one of the upscale restaurants in the area. Now I don't know how to characterize it. Food was pretty good, service was pretty good, overall rating brought down by the noise from the bar. Not sure I'll be back..."

"Went to Grant's on a Sunday afternoon, intending to have an early dinner around 3:30 -- after their brunch ended. When we arrived, we were informed that they don't serve dinner until 4pm, so we sat at the bar and had appetizers and a burger instead. The appetizers were outstanding - tuna tartar tacos and a marinated beet salad. The burger was ok. Service was pleasant but slow. I would return at a better time."

"First time eating at Grant's since it has been remodeled. Love the new look. Food was excellent as always, however, wait staff seemed to have more than they could handle (although they did their best). Our meal was originally served to the couple next to us and we were not checked on as often as I would like to see if anything else was needed (i.e, another drink). Given I have a hearing loss in one ear, I do struggle to hear in your restaurant. We were seated in back away from bar, however, their was a large party in back of the restaurant which certainly contributed to the noise level. Do not visit your restaurant as often as I used to...looking for quieter, more romantic restaurant."

"We really enjoy Grants and it's generally our choice for special occasions.
We had never gone for brunch and decided to try it for Easter.
Surprisingly, we would have to say the food was just o.k. My husband and oldest daughter had the eggs Benedict which they said were just ok. They both commented how a diner they had recently been to made them better. My youngest daughter and a family friend had the French Toast which both said wasn't that good. My son had the pancakes ehich he didn't comment on so I can't speak for that. I think mine was the best choice. I had the crab cakes and eggs which I thought were very good."

"I have enjoyed Grants for special dinners, and was quite surprised to find they had Sunday brunch. There were 3 of us, each ordering something different but sharing the lemon buttermilk pancakes order. We ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict which were ok...the meat (bacon/ham) was overcooked and although the citrus hollandaise was delicious, there was just too much of it. Homefries were great. The crab egg benedict was really delicious. Other than the pancakes, they were the best choice. The omelet was also fine, although, I would have preferred more 'flavor'. It was spinach with 3 cheeses, but it was a little bland. Surprisingly, they also have really great coffee. The pancakes were fantastic. A great brunch overall and we will be back."

"It was good, but we thought it was more pomp than anything. The food probably wasn't worth the price and we were seated at one of those tiny two-person tables in between two other tables (on a crack) - so we weren't really comfortable during the meal. Overall, it was good - but I won't be in a rush to go back."

"Grant's recently underwent a remodel and so I was looking forward to seeing what they had done. Nice job! It's definitely a more casual atmosphere. The food remains the same - very well prepared and I was happy to see that the menu hadn't been changed too much. The service was good, but I felt I had to down grade it because we complained that our table was wobbly and the server said she would take care of it - it just didn't happen.

"My fiancé, friends and I have had dinner and brunch here. The décor is rustic chic Tuscan, which I loved. Dinner was delicious- from the appetizers to desserts, no complaints from any of us! Drinks were strong, but yummy! Brunch was very good also, the crabs & eggs entrée was amazing and so was their smoked salmon flatbread. The only thing that was disappointing was their classic bloody mary, I’ve had better…much better. Other than that, I definitely recommend this place, I know I will be going back again."

"Billy personally prepares his Wednesday night special Veal Parmesan. And this is no ordinary cut of veal. Billy uses fresh veal loin in his amazingly flavorful recipe. The portions are very generous too. I can honestly say this was the the best Veal Parm I ever ate. My wife ordered it also, and agrees "best ever." We will be back!"

"Food was good as expected for the reputation and price. Ordered 3 different bottles of wine and neither time did they come back with the right year. Finally settled on something because I was tired of picking bottles off their obviously outdated menu. What was most troublesome was the table set up. We were at small round tables in the middle of the dining room with about 1.5 ft in between each. The issue with it was that the wait staff constantly weaved in and out through the 1.5 ft on each side the whole night! Our whole dinner had people flying 3 inches by our faces the whole time. I got bumped into 3 times. Forget the wine debacle, this ruined our experience."

"Good service can really make up for a mediocre meal. Six of us were dining. The seafood tower was OK...just very pedestrian. Two people thought their meal was great, two people had the trout and said it was fine...nothing special...and two of us had the underwhelming $32.95 prime rib. Jay asked for an end cut, did not get it, nor was it well done. My piece was the same thing I would have received from Golden Corral. I know it is iffy to order prime rib...but at that price I thought it would be better.
Our waitress was great and the food arrives promptly and was well presented. We arrived on time for a 7:30 reservation but were not seated for 20 minutes."

"Since they changed the restaurants appearance they definitely changed the restaurants atmosphere. Good or Bad I'm not sure yet. They took the romantic out of the restaurant. It now is a very energetic young crowd. Very noisy. I did like the change in the menu, my wife's scallops were very good, my trout very bland. I would probably return for happy hour."

"Everything was great. The only thing I would mark down would be the kind of odd table that me and my girlfriend were seated at. It was a small round table with a rounded bench on one side where we both sat. It was a little awkward, but not a big deal. Food was fantastic and service was great. Our waitress was attentive without bothering us."
