Two sizes are available: BUCA SMALL feeds up to two and BUCA LARGE feeds up to four. "My children and my husband took me out to dinner for Mother's Day. I chose the restaurant because I was looking for somewhere that took reservations and that I had heard good things about. I also enjoy going to Station Square and my daughters live in Pittsburgh and this was convenient for all of us. Our waitress was charming - one of my daughters noted that she was genuinely nice and wasn't faking it. She was a joy! The food was all so good. When I have eaten Italian food out before, I have gotten heartburn that can last for days and an upset stomach. I felt wonderful after eating and still do! I have told everyone what a wonderful time we had and how good the food was and will continue to do so. We will definitely be back again soon."

"My children took me here for Mother's Day. It was a very nice experience. Food and service were good. The Mother's Day special included a $20 gift certificate good on your next visit. We didn't receive any thing in writing so when I called the next day I was told we had to ask for it when we were there. The person who answered the phone said that they were giving out the certificates only to those who asked at the time. He also stated it was only good for thirty days. No where in the offer did it state you had to ask for the offer while you were there and that it was only good for thirty days. He took my email address but I didn't receive an email. Disappointed."

"It's been a while since dining at Buca at Station Square. We were there following our son's band concert with another family.
Simply stated, the service was poor, our waiter screwed up just about everything from our drink order to correctly splitting the check....claimed he was very busy (only 3 tables in our section at the time).
The restaurant's interior is really starting to show wear and tear, with sections of carpeting torn or missing, missing handrails on stairs, table cloths with holes/tears and chairs with broken legs. Not good.
The only saving grace was the food....but let's face it....spending $75 for 3 people to eat spaghetti & meatballs? We may be one and done."

"It was my daughter's 16th b-day and we ended up adding 1 more person to our group, however I didn't like how we were sitting. they gave us 2 tables instead of one big one. We had to pull the table into the booth so we felt like we were there as a group, a family. Yet, we had a hard time talking over the loud music. Beautiful place, and very romantic, but when we go somewhere, we love to talk and we felt like we were talking over the music and disturbing others while they ate."

"The food was excellent, however, our booth was awful. We were seated in an 8 person booth on the first floor. Several of us had very uncomfortable seats, as parts of the booth were sunk low. The booth definitely needs updated. I had to sit in a certain spot just to remain comfortable and not move from that spot. Also the rug underneath the booth was all bunched up and that was uncomfortable as well."

"I was a little dissappointed in our dining experience at Station Square.I found the portions to be a bit smaller than at other Buca's(especially the stuffed mushrooms-hardly stuffed)and the service was non-attentive at times.I was really excited when we were seated in the kitchen(I had always wanted to do that)but I thought there would be more interaction or at least better service.No one talked to us.We had to ask for water refills 2 seperate times during our meal and resorted to sharing water towards the end of our meal.Our appetizers were served without serving spoons. We did not get new plates for salad and the parmesan cheese was brought in a bowl for the table, again no spoon. Food was wonderful and giving abusy holiday a good time."

"This was our first visit and we were disappointed. It took almost an hour to get our salad. One of the other dishes was supposed to have shrimp in it but there were very very few shrimp. "The food was good but not everything was great. Some of the pasta dishes lacked enough sauce. The staff took us on a tour, which was cute, but it was unbelievably hot on the third floor. We actually left and didn't linger over more food or drinks because we were sweating. We asked three times to have the temperature addressed. We were told it is a constant problem of it either being too hot or too cold. AVOID THE THIRD FLOOR AT ALL COSTS!"

"Went on a Sunday evening with no waiting. We started with the Small Apple Gorgonzola Salad, which was very delicious and more than enough for two people. They also brought plenty of fresh bread and butter. The glasses of wine were well overpriced for this menu. I think that they are trying to force you into bottles, which are reasonable. The small spaghetti and meatballs was recommended to us so that is what we ordered. The meatballs were huge and tasty, but the spaghetti and sauce were just very average. For not being busy the service was OK to a little slow. We want to go back and try something else on the menu and not base our opinion on the spaghetti. My wife wanted something else this time and I talked her out of it. My fault!"

"We were a regular Buca di Beppo customer until Sunday March 10, 2013. We will never ever step foot in that restaurant again. The food that the waiter bought out to us wasn't fit for human consumption. The look of the food was just horrible and the taste was even worse. This was the 2nd time we had a major problem with their food. The visit before this one, my husband had pieces of plastic in his salad. But we decided to give them another chance again on March 10th, 2013. Needless to say we will not be going back. I had a long conversation with the manager about the quality & quantity of the food that they are serving and told him if they keep this up they will definitely be out of business. Beware of dining at Buca di Beppo!"

"I made reservations weeks in advance for a 6 person birthday party. When we arrived, we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated and they shoe horned us in to a small booth. We asked to move and the placed us at a table that was one seat short and I had to stand for 5 minutes waiting for a chair to be brought. The staff seamed over whelmed, even though there were empty tables all around. The food took a long time to come. And one of our side dishes was very cold. The waitress Taylor worked very hard and did a good job, even though she obviously had several very large tables to deal with. For some reason, the air conditioning was on and we froze thru the whole dinner. Luckily the food was very good."

"We love the relaxed and fun feel of Buca di Beppo. Lots of fun details in the decorations. You won't get bored checking out the wall art. The restaurant was crowded for Valentine's Day but our server was friendly and able to handle the crowd. The managment was also visible making the rounds to insure everyone was satisfied. The kitchen was not overwhelmed and out food was served in a timely fashion. The eggplant parmasean is delicious and the portion size is generous. The chocolate candy and the voucher for $10.00 off a future visit were a very nice touch! We will definitely return for another delicious Italian meal."

"Our group chose Bucca di Beppo, thinking it was the restaurant in Station Square that would have the most vegetarian and omnivore-friendly offerings. The service was good quality and timing solid. We ordered spaghetti & meatballs and penne in vodka sauce and house salad. The salad, serving three, was just a pile of leaves with peppers on top- we begged for more olives! The meatballs were good, but the spaghetti was bland and sauce lacking - sugary, not savory. The penne and vodka sauce was also disappointing. I could have made pasta at home with more success. If you crave pasta in a cutesy-kitschy atmosphere, go to Olive Garden. I'm sorry!"

"It was very noisy,(which is not a choice above) and although there were other tables available, they seated guests right next to each other. The waiter did not give us much attention. While we were giving him our dessert order, he walked away to answer questions from the table next to us and then took their order! Also, we waited 20 minutes to get water. Also, we made reservations in advance only to be told by the hostess that they will get to us when they can. The food was ok. not the best I've ever had. It's a different place to go if you don't mind waiting, waiters and hostess that make you feel like you're in their way and if you don't mind eating with people you don't know since they seat you so close together."

"The food was great but the service was very much lacking. We waited for 30 minutes despite the reservation I made over a week in advance. The waitress pretty much ignored us and fawned over the couple behind us (who had waited for 2 hours that evening which was Valentines Day AND the woman's birthday). I realize this is more of a group restaurant than a date night place, but I received so many emails/invites from Buca to make reservations that I thought it would be great for Valentine's Day.
I'll come back for special occasions, but not Valentine's Day. And if I get the server we had this visit, I will be requesting a new one or leaving."

"Meal was excellent, but one of the most uncomfortable restaurants we've visited. Our booth was squeezed into a back corner, and we barely had an inch between our bodies and the edge of the table. My seat was very low and the tabletop hit me in my midriff. There was a cold breeze flowing through the restaurant. The walls are lined with photos -- celebreties, Italian scenes, and a significant number of nudes, some in vulgar poses. There was also, adjacent to our booth, a photo of a male dog lying on its back, genetalia fully exposed and "alert". Not kid friendly, and actually offensive and not necessary. I understand other locations are more comfortable, and we might try Robinson, since the food was excellent."

"This is the third time I've been to a Buca di Beppo this year and had absolutely lousy service. The first two times were in Columbus, Ohio. I thought we'd take a chance and see if another location might be a better experience. It wasn't. We arrived with a reservation set confirmed for 8:30pm on a Sunday night. There was no one in the place, yet we sat for 15 minutes in the lobby while a hostess, a waiter, and a manager chatted among themselves about their evening and upcoming social plans. Our appetizer was forgotten, the pasta was mushy/overcooked, and the waitress was more concerned with getting her station cleaned up than waiting on us. We're done with Buca - won't be back."

"We were promptly seated upon our arrival during a busy holiday (Valentine's Day). Although we were not asked for drinks for atleast 10 or 15 minutes and we had to ask for the complimentary bread to be brought to our table. Our entree was served somewhat cold. Our appetizer was delicious. Unfortunately, those sitting around us were constantly complaining about the service throughout the meal. One couple actually waited for their food for close to 45 minutes and eventually had a conversation with the waiter and then chose to leave instead of staying for their dinner which the were not happy with. We also had to ask to have our waters to be refilled. Overall it was an unenjoyable experience and I will not be returning to the restaurant."

"I booked a reservation for Saturday, Feb. 9th, at 6 PM. My wife and I were celebrating our 5 year anniversary. We showed up at 5:45. We proceeded to wait until 7:15 to get a table. During that time, several large tables, with reservations at 6:30 were seated ahead of us. (It appears that this restaurant forgets about the table of two and only caters to large parties). Whenever we did get a table, a waitress didn't show up for 5 minutes. Bread wasn't delivered for another 20 minutes and when it was delivered, no plates were provided. Nice to spend an anniversary buttering your bread on a place mat. Terrible service. I feel that we should have been offered a discounted meal, free item, or a sincere apology for our troubles."
