Buca di Beppo serves authentic Italian cuisine in an eclectic, vintage setting. Our dishes are served family-style, meant to be shared by everyone at the table. Two sizes are available: BUCA SMALL feeds up to two and BUCA LARGE feeds up to four. At Buca, guests delight in our lively atmosphere, enjoy the classic tunes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin and admire our décor, including family photos and candid shots of Italian-American icons, such as Sophia Loren and Joe DiMaggio. "Server was good, but I wish there was substance behind Buca's pricing. I ordered a shrimp dish with spinach and tomato, and a garlic butter sauce, I believe it was. That day it was so light it was hard to tell, and the next day there was absolutely no sign of any sauce! There was a good amount of shrimp, but not enough tomato, sauce or spinach. One in our party ordered spinach canneloni with chicken. We finally asked if they forgot the chicken. We were told it was shredded in tiny pieces blended in to the cheese. I shared some of this dish and I would swear it was only filled with cheese. This dish, the shrimp dish and the rigatoni were definitely overpriced.Did not care for being dragged through the kitchen to get to our table."

"This was our first time at Buca di Beppo (4/27/13), celebrating my 50th birthday! Our server was excellent, very upbeat and fun, very attentive. The food was absolutely phenomenal, loved every dish we tried (Mixed Green Salad, Shrimp Florentine, Chicken Saltimbocca, Stuffed Shells, Baked Rigatoni and of course, Cannoli for dessert). Can't wait to go again!"

"We always love Buca, it is the #1 requested restaurant from our 3 & 5 year olds especially. The family style food is always great, although we order the same thing every time we go. It is hard to stray from the spaghetti and giant meatballs and the cheesy garlic bread and the giant piece of decadent chocolate cake that is large enough for the entire family. The house Chianti is surprisingly good too. Service is great, friendly and timely. My only complaint is that although the servers claim that they use natural ingredients, I have yet for anyone to be able to produce an ingredient list for me. My girls are sensitive to artificial ingredients, and as of yet, they have not had a reaction. (We skip the brightly colored celebration cake.)"

"There were four of us having lunch. We ordered the Bruschetta as an appetizer and it was a very large platter - more than enough for four people. The two of us ordered the spaghetti/salad lunch combo with primavera sauce. Two ordered the rigatoni/salad combo. We all agreed everything was very tasty and we would definitely go back again."

"Buca was busy with many families with children so it was very noisy. We had a "small" order of fried calamari for an appetizer and it was more than enough. The marinara sauce served with the calamari had too many hot peppers for our taste. We split a small order of Quattro al Forno, as suggested by our server, and it was a nice meal to share and gave us a taste of four different dishes. Cheese Manicotti, chicken cannelloni, cheese ravioli and two shells stuffed with Italian sausage, spinach and cheeses. The marinara sauce was light and tasty. Our only complaint was that a bread basket was not brought to our table until we were almost done with our meal."

"this was my first visit so wasn't exactly sure what to expect. My son's girlfriend was celebrating a birthday, so my husband and I had four young adults with us. I was impressed and will definitely return. A couple of things to point out - our waiter was excellent however I felt was too busy. Often, a runner was bringing things to our table but we were not seeing the waiter thus missing items went unaddressed for long periods. As an example, the mariana sause for the garlic bread was overlooked. A beer took 20 minutes and a reminder. Other drink refills were not addressed timely. Nothing major, but small things which can be corrected easily. All in all it was a great experience!"

"I'd probably rate Buca higher, but it's actually fairly pricey. For just two plates, I paid just under $50 (not including the tip). The food is served family style, so each plate feeds about two people. The food to me was nothing special, but I'm not a food critic either. The two people that I was with liked the food."

"If you are sitting this close to an Olive Garden, and you are priced this much higher, you need to taste better. Food was no better than high end frozen food. Braised Short Ribs should taste different than dry pot roast, but it didn't. The Linguine Fruitti di Mare was closer to a fish soup. When you thaw out the seafood, drain it before using it in the meal. The mussels were very fishy and the shrimp like little chunks of shredded tires. The Rigatoni was fine, as long as you think that crushed red pepper should overpower the other indgredients.They served the wine cold, not cool, but cold like a beer on some dive bar patio. The olive oil they used for the bread was tasteless, it might as well have been vegetable oil."

"We've been to Bucca a few times. It's fine and portions are large (leftovers) but our visit tgis time was very odd. We didn't get greeted until we had been standing in the front entrance for about 10 mins, didn't get seated for another 10 mins and didn't see our server for another 10 mins after that. The food was fine but complimentary bread came at the end of the meal? Won't be back to that location for a while."

"This was our first time visiting Buca di Beppo. It was so much more than we expected. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful. She was very knowledgeable as to what menu items were and was more than willing to suggest her favorites genuinely. Thru out the meal she was very attentive but not overly so. Very personable. The food was excellent and came in wonderful portions to serve our family. We have great left-overs to bring home. The food tasted so delicious. The atmosphere was great, felt like you were right at home or the home of a great Italian friend. A neat touch is when you first come into the restaurant, to seat you they walk you thru the kitchen. To give it the you are at home feeling even more. We will definitely be going back!!"

"Very fun restaurant with fabulous food and great service. We have been to the Maple Grove Buca three times for different birthday celebrations and everyone had a great time. Ronda was our server last time and I cannot say enough good things about her. She wasn't overly chatty, rushed or behaved like she would rather stick a knife in her eye rather than wait on us. We requested something special that was no longer on the menu and she made sure we got it!
The prices are very fair for what you get and the atmosphere is lively and fun even though it can get loud at times. Good variety of menu items and all of them are delicious.
Make sure you have reservations or you will probably have to wait an hour or more for a table."

"We made 7:00 reservations for 4, weren't seated until 7:30. We did not get our food until 8:45 and it was barely warm. Waitress never kept us informed on the status of our meals. When we asked to separate the bill, she abruptly stated... We don't do that but I can split it right down the middle or just get a manager. Driving from St. Cloud, this was a total dissatisfying night out :("

"Service was extremely slow. It took over an hour and a half to get our meal and the waiter was not even apologetic. I think he forgot to submit our order but was afraid to admit it. My Valentine date (wife of 25 years) was tired and ready to go by the time we got our meal. We observed two couples that came in after us, order, got their meal and leave before we got ours. I am in no hurry to return.
Food was great and atmosphere was great."

"We had a group of 11 and were accomodated very quickly (with a reservation for only 9 people) on a Friday night. Our server made helpful food recommendations for our diverse group, which included a 3 year old and a family of Chinese who spoke little English. We had a great time, ate well, and had plenty of food to suit many different tastes. There was no pressure for us to leave, as we spent three hours eating and talking. Our server even took a group photo for us! I would recommend Buca as a great place to take a group of people who don't know each other well, as the family style servings is a great ice breaker."

"The staff was busy but helpful to our group in choosing our entres. The waitress was over worked so was not able to be as attentive to our group as needed. We asked for additional bread and did not get it. The waitress, one more available stopped to talk with us and showed us the different rooms of the restaurant. We would return for another meal."
