Buca di Beppo serves authentic Italian cuisine in an eclectic, vintage setting. Our dishes are served family-style, meant to be shared by everyone at the table. Two sizes are available: BUCA SMALL feeds up to two and BUCA LARGE feeds up to four. "I would have given Bucca my usual 5 Star rating, except this trip wasn't quite up to par. The waiter was nice, but seemed inexperienced and had to be reminded a few times for items we requested. Also, we couldn't order anything that was fried because they ran out of oil; that meant no fried mozzerella or chicken parmesan- two reasons why we go there!"

"Graduation dinner for my daughter was lousy. Table too small for our family of 7 to be comfortable, even at 5:30 w/reservation. Hubs and I got there @5: 00 pm, restaurant empty, had to wait for drink order & waiter still got it wrong. Rest of the family arrived, got our fried mozz appetizers, warm, not hot. When waiter figured out we weren't going to order more liquor, service went downhill. Lasagne was good enough. Had Penne w/chicken, artichokes and sundried tomatoes. Sounded good, but tasted bland. Hardly any artichokes, not really a lot of chicken,not enough sauce, and they should have simmered the tomatoes in the sauce...they were chewy & gross. Should've gone to our local Italian haunt....way better food, service & prices."

"Overall not a good experience. Reservation not ready, they did not have the change I made to the number of people (which the manager approved when I called to confirm the Fri. before) had to wait and the table they put us at was too small.....should've left then, but it got worse. We ordered appetizers the fryer was down so no calamari, waited forever for appetizers.....we waited forever for dinner as well....when we did finally get our dinners they were out of meatballs we ordered an hour before....we had young kids with us and it was getting late. An awful experience, we won't come back. The manager did nothing when we told him what was going on. I liked the food but there is good food at almost every restaurant BUT with better service!"

"Had a reservation to celebrate 2 birthdays and an engagement. When we first showed up and got walked through the kitchen, the male host was extremely rude. He was walking fast and seemed bothered to be working. We were a few feet behind him when I said, "I'm sorry, I can not hear you." He replied with an attitude, "Well this is my voice and I can't speak any louder. I'm losing my voice and won't repeat myself." When we finally sit down, it took our waiter about 15-20 minutes to come ask if we wanted anything to drink. We ordered waters for now. That took another 15 minutes. Long story short, service was horrible and the only other time he came was to bring us our food. When they sang happy birthday, everyone smiled as he rolled his eyes."

"Went for Easter lunch. The restaurant was packed, yet the level of service was outstanding! We had 12 people total and they put 2 waiters on our table...... the guys were spot on! Fun, friendly & attentive. Tip was added, but I added more just because they were that good. It took quite a while for the 12 of us, we were there almost 3 hours, but we were 100% satisfied! The food was amazing as well. We had the Chicken Limone, Chicken parm, chicken marsala, Prosciutto Stuffed Chicken, ravioli's, stuffed shells, penne in vodka sauce......... a lot of different things to taste & everything was very good. We will be going back!!!!"

"Our group of 9 had our Easter gathering at Buca di Beppo for the 1st time. It worked out so well in every way....convenient, good menu options, food better than expected, etc... It took a little while for the pasta and entrees to come because the kitchen was swamped due to the Easter crowd...but when the food came it was delicious and that gave us more time to visit with our family.
We ordered 2 small salads, 2 small pastas, 1 large pasta, 2 small entrees, 1 large entree and had leftovers. Next time I would do it all the same but would downsize the 1 large pasta to a small. We had some leftovers (which we like).

"i thought the food was great, the service was slow and we had to ask for utensils and water. my daughter ordered a dip that had toasted bread with it and i thought the portion for a thirteen dollar appetizer was horrendously over priced. i wouldn't go back again because i think we could get a better value some where else."

"Went there for a family dinner to celebrate my birthday. A little too loud for my taste. Couldn't talk to each other very well. Food was OK but nothing to get excited over. I would recommend it for a group with kids in the 8-15 age range. Family style with large helpings. All in all it was about what I expected."

"We enjoyed our meal at Buca. Good food, good service, and fun atmosphere. My only issue is value, we ordered 3 Large Entrees...nothing fancy, just Fettuccine Alfredo, Spaghetti w/a side of meatballs, and chicken Parmesan. Also had a large salad and 2 desserts. Total bill with tip was nearly $200 for 7 of us. It's not worth that."

"I have been dining at Buca for several years. I have never been when it was as busy as it was on 01/26/13. I'm not sure what was going on but the waiting area was so packed people were running into one another. Thank goodness for reservations. Once seated we were told that you had run out of water glasses due to the amount of people waiting for a table at the bar. Our waiter said there were over 400 reservations that evening? Wow! Our bread bowl had water in it and it made for some soggy bread. We did not complain, however, because we knew how busy our poor waiter was. My mother did receive a Happy Birthday song and that made for a more pleasant experience."
