Buca di Beppo serves authentic Italian cuisine in an eclectic, vintage setting. Our dishes are served family-style, meant to be shared by everyone at the table. Two sizes are available: BUCA SMALL feeds up to two and BUCA LARGE feeds up to four. "While I can appreciate that the volume of people in the restaurant that day was higher than normal for a Sunday night, it did not excuse the lack of service or cold food served to our party. No drinks were served until the meal arrived. Numerous requests for bread were ignored. ALL of our entrees were served cold. Also, be aware that while you may be a frequent patron and/or a member of Buca's eClub, you will NOT be able to redeem coupons for special events. Knowing that Buca often publishes their $10 off coupon in local circulars and online, I searched for one prior to this reservation to no avail. So, after I paid my $95 bill, I came home to find a $10 coupon in my inbox AFTER their busiest day of the month. GREAT MARKETING BUCA!!!"

"It was VERY loud with the great number of large groups there. The noise level caused us to end our dinner before even looking at dessert. Space was at a premium....every time a waiter passed by my mother's seat she was pushed as there was not sufficient room for anyone to go pass behind her.
Most of the food was great...My friend ordered the fettuccine Alfredo because the person's dish of the same looked and smelled wonderful. My friend had fettucini with hardly any Alfredo sause. Not good."

"Mothers' Day. Restaurant was totally full. Noise level high. Servers overloaded and doing their best to appear happy in their work and failing. Food was holiday standard, ie: not quite hot. Salad appeared to have been tossed some hours earlier. Altogether not a wonderful experience, but not unexpected for a holiday booking. We've dined better there."

"Only if you're feeding a team of hungry football players with no tastebuds, is this the place with its piles of food. The Apple-Gorgonzola salad was very good and the waiter was chipper, though overworked. The pasta? Overcooked and seasoned blandly. No one went back for seconds of the Spaghetti Marinara: there was not enough sauce for the amount of spaghetti and the sauce that was there was thin, totally uninteresting in terms of flavor, and didn't stick to the pasta at all. The Shrimp Florentine had plenty of shrimp and good garlic flavor, but barely dotted with tomato and spinach. Two dishes didn't come until we were finished eating. Water ordered didn't show up until the second request for it. Not going back."

"We celebrated my husband's birthday dinner at the Castleton Buca di Peppo. My two young-teen-age children and I had to meet him between meetings and I am happy to report that the restaurant was not busy at all while we were there (we had reservations at 5 p.m. to accomodate my husband's busy schedule between meetings). Our server was excellent -- not pushy but always available if we needed anything, and very, but not overly friendly. She struck a great balance and is very affable. The food was really great and, as always, there was enough for several in the family to enjoy again the next day. We will definitely be back and I'm sure we would enjoy sitting in yet-another fascinating booth or table to take in all of the decor. Thanks, Buca!!"
