"Great place to eat. Although my ravioli was extremely rich and VERY LITTLE mushroom stuffed. Needs a bit more of a beer selection, although a few unique beers I had never heard of."

Review 3 for CK14 - The Crooked Knife at 14th Street
"Love the look, never would have guessed from the outside that I would have encountered such a quaint eatting area in a bar. The service was great, attentive but not overbearing. The menu was good, above average variety of bar food selections. My only issue was the unbelievably salty burgers. I had the salmon and my friend had the turkey. Crazy thing is I actually use more than my fair share of salt (unfortunately) and even I was shocked at the level of salt that was used. I bet if the cook left the salt out it would have been a really tasty burger."

Review 4 for CK14 - The Crooked Knife at 14th Street
"Decent pub grub, overpriced though it may be. Servers are awesome. Fun atmosphere. Still not worth $100 for a pair of salads and a few glasses of wine. Back patio is nice though."

Review 5 for CK14 - The Crooked Knife at 14th Street
"My friend arrived before I did and stood at the door waiting for 5 minutes and no one approached her. Then my husband and I arrived and waited awhile and no one approached us. Then we walked back into the restaurant and flagged down a waitress who said they would get a table ready for us. We stood very awkwardly in the dining section with no real direction. Then the waitress came back and rudely said - it’s going to be awhile you need to go back up front. This was a bit strange since the restaurant was empty. We waited another 10 minutes with no one coming to say anything to us but we see the waitress stop and the bar and eat off of someone's plate. We left. The menu looked good though - too bad we couldn't try anything."

Review 6 for CK14 - The Crooked Knife at 14th Street
"Tried CK for brunch for the first time. It was 8 of us and the food was delicious. The omelettes are massive. The salmon and asparagus cakes were good. The beef burger was tasty. Everyone was happy and full. Not to mention the waitress kept bring more goblets of mimosa (that NOT flat). All for $25. Great value. Great place. I highly recommend it."

Review 9 for CK14 - The Crooked Knife at 14th Street
"Was more subdued that Sunday brunch and Friday night scene. I had a quiet dinner with a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and wine. This is great restaurant."

Review 10 for CK14 - The Crooked Knife at 14th Street
"The food was great, the price was great, the space was historic and charming. We were sitting next to a group that was celebrating some special event. The sound level was so high I felt that my ears might bleed at any moment. There is an outside space that must be available in summer but was closed due to the cold weather. If the second room were heated and open, and we could have been away from the party group, it would have been a great experience."

Review 12 for CK14 - The Crooked Knife at 14th Street
"I went to this place for the first time on Valentines Day and was in love with it right away. The ambience, food and drinks were amazing. I loved the place so much I went back for Brunch 2 days later with my best friend and we both determined it was our new favorite restaurant/bar. After brunch I decided to check into having my best friends surprise bridal shower brunch at the restaurant. Best unlimited mimosa/bloody mary's spot hands down. The food is just awesome!"
