Rose's Cafe
A favorite in the Cow Hollow neighborhood, Rose's Café is a hangout for locals who bask in the sun at sidewalk tables, duck inside for a cappuccino, or stay for a leisurely meal. Many customers are regulars who frequent the pretty bistro-café that offers table service and some of the most deliciously affordable food in San Francisco - Italian fare created using organic local produce, fresh seafood, humanely raised meats, and free-range poultry. Rose's artisan bakers bake a daily selection of pastries, desserts and breads. Menu highlights include: pizzas, daily soups and house made pasta. Accepting Reservations for Dinner Only! Parties of 6 or more may be charged an 18% gratuity.

"Always a great place whether for breakfast, lunch, our dinner. The menu is not extensive but always something for every taste. Innovative and always subtly changing. Everything is delicious, the service is great being very helpful and friendly without being intrusive. The wine list is small, eclectic, and lovely -- and everything is available by the glass. We live in Utah but consider it our neighborhood cafe!"

"The service was not really caring. The food was not particularly good. The espresso was poor. The pasta was mediocre and looked to me reheated (very hot) in a microwave. I would not go there again."

"Rose's is a wonderful neighborhood smaller restaurant with a changing menu, very friendly servers and a warm and cozy environment. It is one of our favorite places to take friends, family and visitors. Many dishes include seasonal local ingredients and the servers are very helpful with descriptions of the menu and making sure you are comfortable. Enjoy !"

"The tables are too close together (I assume they're trying to maximize revenue), and as a result, if you're stuck next to a noisy group, it's painful. Plus, the kitchen is right there and those guys are keeping up the noise level, too."

"Local place we have passed a few times. Describe as California on Open table this place really has more of an Italian flavour. Friendly service and a french style interior, the appertisers and entres were great. We had the buffalo mozerella, beet salad then spicy sausage and brocchioli pizza and carbonara. Very lovely food with the Washington state Syrah (not bad in itself).
