"Our Mother's Day luncheon was a delight! The Tapas as appetizers and the main courses were perfect. We were particularly pleased that we were not rushed, nor did we feel neglected. Time between courses was appropriate and relaxing. My wife's dessert, when she tried it, was not to her liking. It was graciously exchanged for another that she really enjoyed. The Orange-Pistachio Cheesecake was out of this world!"

"It was my first time experiencing Barcelona and I truly enjoyed it. I had the Spanish Onion Soup and the Credo (Pork) and both were equally delicious. I also enjoyed the guitarist (I was there on a Sunday night). At first I thought it would be authentic Spanish music but I was pleasantly surprised when I heard the melody of 'Come Together' by the Beatles and 'Dream On'! I definitely would love to come back and have already suggested it to friends. If I could give one note, I would say that the restaurant is not fit for young children. Working in the restaurant industry I realize you cannot exclude children but If suggesting it to someone, I would say that it isn’t kid friendly."

"Delightful tapas, wines, desserts and service - if I lived in Columbus, I would make this a regular haunt! The goat cheese stuffed avocado and pan roasted crab cakes were my favorites among the nine dishes we got. The special pastry was a chocolate lavender cake with what seemed like less cake than decadent butter cream icing layers, a spectacular dessert."

"Barcelona was and NO LONGER IS a place of great food and exceptional experience. Food was below mediocre and service not much better. The food was not prepared as something you would go out and get. I can make better food at home. It is not even worth going out for. The food had no flavor, and was not prepared as good as you would expect and as presented on the menu. I asked to be paired with vine for my meal I received vinigar. Overall, not worth going to this place. I wasted my money and my time, had I known that Barcelona restaurant has dropped so low in quality I would have never chosen to go there. Future, I will not be going there at all. It will take a lot for me to change my mind and waste of my time to go there."

"My husband and I made reservations to celebrate our 5th year anniversary. Our dining experience was very pleasant. Our waiter, John was knowledgeable and extremely professional. The restaurant has a very romantic feel. Our meals, chicken and crab cakes were delicious. We definately will come back for another fabulous dining experience and will probably request seating outside."

"Although we were longing to sit on the patio for our anniversary, we still had a great time. Our server, John, was very attentive and friendly. I loved every piece of food that came to our table from the bread, to the avocado with goat cheese, my husbands paella was amazing and I had a scallop dish that had a great flavor. Next time we hope to dine on the patio but we hope to go back at least once more before the summer is over."

"We were excited to try Barcelona because we heard great things about the tapas menu. We ordered twelve different items. Two or three were pretty good. Two or three weren't good at all. The rest were just okay, definitely nothing special. To be fair, we didn't order anything from the entree menu, just tapas...but we expected more."

"We just didn't like this place. For a pricier dining experience it doesn't feel right. It's not the food. It's the feel. It felt scrabby. I don't know if it's the people who kept walking by stopping and staring or the overly loud high school kids behind us. You don't dine at a f*&king upscale restaurant to feel like you're at KFC or Chipotle. The food was really really good though. I would recommend this place to foodies who want to try something different. But for a special evening with a special someone-- you can forget it."

"This is our first time to Barcelona Restaurant. The food is excellent, especially the scallop dishes, one on the appetizer menu, and the other on the entree. The chef really knows how to cook scallop the right way. Texture, taste and freshness were perfect. Our server, John provided excellent and attentive service. His recommendation on wine on the glass and the food on the menu all turned out to be excellent. He is knowledgable, professional, friendly and attentive without imposing. He has a great attitude, someone that knows and love wine and food, and really enjoy being there."

"While the food and the service was very good, I personally found the restaurant too noisy to really continue conversation with my group as the evening went on. I'd recommend the food but unless you don't want to talk to your companions in a normal voice, try someplace with a less "energetic" noise level."

"Barcelona has always been a go-to place for special occasions, but on our recent visit,we were reminded of what a wonderful restaurant it really is. Barcelona has something for everyone-a delicious selection of cocktails and wine at the bar, small plates (tapas) for the budget minded who want outstanding food and many choices,entrees that are hard to match anywhere, and desserts that you can't pass up. The specials are always worth trying, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Barcelona may have changed chefs, but they haven't missed a beat. This restaurant is worth a drive from Circleville; what are you waiting for if you live in Franklin county? (And it will patio time soon! Beautiful!)"

"I would recommend Barcelona to all of the foodies, great atmosphere and excellent service! There was an extensive and gratifying tapas menu as well as mouth-watering entrées and the wine list was definitely for the wine enthusiast!
My husband and I started off with Calamares Fritos - flash fried calamari. Although a little seasoning was needed, they were very fresh and fried to perfection!
For our entrees, I had the Paella de Costillas y Vieras – braised beef short ribs/pan roasted scallops soaked in herbs/spices over calasparra rice! It was amazing!! I could taste every flavor and if I had not eaten the fresh bread brought to us, I would have devoured every bite! My husband ordered the Filete – grilled beef filet wrapped in bacon, cur"

"Every time I'm in Columbus I try to have dinner at Barcelona and I am never disapponited. It's a great way to impress business companions. This time I had the pork shank and it was fantastic, especially with the potato puree and the mushroom rosemary sauce. To top it off I had the dessert special of goat cheese and rosemary ice cream. OMG!!! I think the waiter said it is homemade and if it is, you need to sell it in stores because I would eat it by the bucket full.
It seems my dinners always stretch to 3 plus hours because the food and ambience is so conducive to long leisurely chats. When weather permits I always ask for the patio.
I look forward to my next trip to Columbus."

"The food at Barcelona is very well flavored. Even if I am not sure of my choice I have never been disappointed. I am not that adventureus of an eater, so for me trying new foods is a challenge. I have so far never disliked any of the foods I have eaten. Their richness for flavor is wonderful and I have never had that bloated or uncomfortable feeling after dinner."

"Amazing evening! The food and the service are top notch! The support for a great cause was just another reason this notable gem is a must visit on everyone's list! "Always a perfect experience and wonderful for lunch. Shared a birthday lunch with a friend and we were treated to a fine time. Choices galore and a few special items. For Restaurant Week the restaurant had set up a traditional tapas bar where one could choose from a variety of delicious plates like sweet potato chips and freshly made crab cakes! Wonderful."
