"We arrived with party of 8 early and was immediately seated (with a reservation). Orders took some time, because our party couldn't decide. Meatloaf orders came out later than entire party and could of used a little more gravy. We have ordered it at another NYAJ and it had more gravy on it. We could of requested more gravy, but when we realized how little was on waiter was gone. Busy night, everyone enjoyed there meals. Yes, I would return."

"We dared go out with our two year old for Father's day because we knew NYAJ was the kind of place that would accommodate us. They kindly sat us a bit apart from other diners and the staff was all very friendly. We are so lucky to have them so close to our home."

"Went to have dinner before going to the Randolph Cinema. Hadn't been to this restaurant in quite a while as I'd moved from the area but was pleasantly surprised that everything was still very good. Food and service were both excellent. Extensive menu of varied foods. Waitress was very accommodating and attentive. Didn't know if the place would be crowded so made reservation on line. Got there about 5:00 p.m. and there was plenty of seating. Food was served pretty quickly and we had no problem getting to the theater in time."

"As a frequent NYAJ diner, I look for new and seasonal menu items. My new fave is the Carolina Pecan Chicken, boneless chicken Breast with mustard coating and pecan crust.
I jut wish NYAJ would bring back Sweet Petite desserts! Everyone I know asks about them but the restaurant has not been responsive to these requests; not everyone has room or desire for a Peanut Butter Thing!"

"As always the meals are prepared to your requests and using produce from local providers makes Joe's special.
The scallops were delicious as was the herb crusted haddock. Kudos for the fresh goat cheese on NYAJ salad.

"I had dinner with my friend and sister for my bday. the food was great but the service was very poor. notice that manager was going around and asking other tables how they r doing but just passing our table. even the waitress was not around when we need her. it was just a bad experience and we often go to this restaurant, I just hope it won't happen again."

"When I do not want to explore....I can always rely on the food and service at the Randolph Joes...The changing menu at times can be frustrating...but it teaches me to stay up on trying to give things an opportunity...I like surprises..lol!!...and the Randolph location does that for me and my family and friends..Waitstaff really great and the floor managers are always available and making sure the restaurant is running right...sometimes my wife and I wonder how they can do it so well...."

"The only consistent thing about this Randolph location is its inconsistency. Sometimes the food is fine and other times not so much. On our last visit the food was OK, but portion sizes were definitely much smaller than we recall from previous visits. I had the Mustard Crusted Chicken for dinner and the portion was underwhelming. At over $14.00 you would expect more. How cheap can you be, Joe? I doubt we will return to the Randolph location anytime soon. Maybe someday they will get their act together. For their sake I hope so."

"Service was great, server was on point. Ordered a hamburger for entree, burger was perfect however, the fries were gross... too salty, very greasy and dark brown in color not sure what happened to them they looked old. Suggest using a different brand of fry. If you are going to use a shoestring french fry try the type that Wendy's and Burger King use, they are thicker than the usual shoestring fries and very flavorful. Otherwise the meal was great."

"Food had potential to be much better.I need a GF MENU & my salmon didn't have much flavor & wasn't hot.(neither was my asparagus)My GF roll was delicious (as was the dipping oil)We tried a wine(free wine tasting night)& were unable to order a glass because no one ever came back to take our order.I believe my GF meal was served to me by the manager; but he didn't say a word.....he just put our food in front of us & that was that! There was only 1 GF dessert option"lemon sorbet w/raspberries" so I ordered it with a cup of coffee.I was given 2 scoops of sorbet with only ONE RASPBERRY. My waiter said "you have to ask for more raspberries" so I did & he brought me 3 more. My husband enjoyed his meal(a pasta with chicken dish)sauce was good."

"The Not Your Average Joe's franchise distinguishes itself from other "fast-casual" chain restaurants by delivering food that's a cut above the Applebee's/Olive Garden etc. standard, both in terms of variety and quality. The Randolph location is a bit smaller than others, but still manages to do well with large groups. Excellent service on a busy Saturday night. The noise level is high here, and you'll be rubbing elbows with the boisterous bar crowd (the bar is in the center of the restaurant). Menu could have more vegetarian choices. Overall, surprisingly good considering the location (in a nondescript strip mall in suburban nowheresvile). We'll be back."

"Never disappoints (if you are, just say something to management and they will FIX it!) I highly recommend this location. We've been frequenting for years and I recently moved and REALLY miss going here! So when I'm in the area, I request NYAJ's in Randolph for dinner!"

"had the paella. 2 of my mussels had no mussel,my shrimp was tasty but watery for some reason,chicken good and the chorizo was cut too small and was very hard and dry. noodles too small.flavors were good.wine was great and bread delish. my friend's cobb salad was good."

"We come here whenever we want a great meal for a great price. We saved extra this time since my entree and dessert were on the house for my birthday - thanks to my email membership. In addition, the April special is a choice bottle of wine for $20 - double the savings!! I asked to have the heat in my Vietamese Salmon toned down just a bit - I'm a wimp - and it was perfect. Another great meal at our "go to" restaurant."

"We'd been to Not Your Averafe Joe's several times, but lately it fell off our radar. It was on our way to a concert and we figured that it was conveniently on our way. We were seated and attended to very well. The meals were perfectly prepared, served hot, and very tasty. Weboth had a chicken selection and foud it juicy and appealing. There was enough to take home for, literally, a second meal. Very good.

"How cool is it that they brought small pieces of pizza around to those of us who were waiting to be seated? When you are hungry, it makes a big difference.
Our server Mario was prompt and courteous. He made good menu suggestions.

"As usual the food and service was great! Also as usual it was a bit loud but that is the norm here. We were seated right away once we mentioned our Open Table reservation, almost felt guilty as there were many people waiting in line for a table. Thanks Open Table!
My wife had the Herb Crusted Haddock which was very good and a good size portion (I got to finish it). I had the Jambalaya which tasted excellent though I though the portion a bit small. All in all a great dinner, looking forward to going back."
