"Our reservation was for 5:30 PM. Though we live a short distance away, the traffic was very heavy because of the time people get out of work PLUS some kind of accident up the road which caused a massive backup of cars in front of us, We arrived at 5:50 PM. We had to wait about 15 minutes or so for a table. After that things went smoothly. No one's fault, really. Just arrived a little for our next destination."

"NYAJ is a great spot for lunch or dinner and never disappoints. The service is really outstanding -- our waiter was incredibly accommodating and very nice. We were a group of five including two folks with disabilities -- again the waiter really was attentive, treated everyone with dignity and made sure everyone was satisfied.
Some in our party enjoyed the creative and seasonal drink selection!"

"Was seated quickly, Mat was our waiter. Great job, very attentive. As always, the bread is very tasty; just don't eat too much of it or you may have trouble finishing your meal. Our meals were cooked to perfection.
Finally, the manager. It's great to see Douglas back in Dartmouth. It's a more vibrant atmosphere with him in that location.
Already looking forward to my next visit."

"I was glad we made a reservation, because it was packed! We were a party of 5, but two of us came together and the other 3 were stuck in some traffic post New Bedford Half Marathon. We were still seated right away and our server was very patient, checking on the two of us a few times before our other guests arrived. Great service, great food, and good prices. I'm not from the area, but the space seems a bit small for the business they likely do. The noise level did get a little high, but nothing too ominous. Good for friends/family, probably not for an intimate date night."

"I have always loved Joe's and their interesting menu that includes several interesting specials. Our waitress recommended a wine for my wife. When my wife ordered a second glass she chose a different wine. When the waitress asked, my wife told her the 1st was a little sweet for her taste. The waitress talked to the manager and they comped the 1st glass. Not necessary I thought but it's what sets this restaurant apart from others (besides the food and interesting menu, of course)"

"The bread was warm, which was a plus! I swear I could live on that bread and oil . . . nobody does it better than NYAJoe's! I had the skewered scallops over butternut squash risotto . . . so delicious! And had the tiramusu for dessert which was heavenly. NEVER disappointed at NYAJoe's."

"I have visited this location on several occasions for dinner. It is always a good experience. The food and service are excellent! I do recommend calling ahead regardless of the day you choose to go to minimize any waiting period. They are very busy no matter which night I have gone. That in itself says quite a bit for this restaurant!"

"We felt the service and the food were excellent at this restaurant we were in town from New York and this ranked right up there with some of the best meals we've had in the city. My husband had the Thai mussels and the Vietnamese salmon both were excellent and quite flavorful.
