Barolo Grill, an award winning Cherry Creek North restaurant, prides itself on serving authentic northern Italian food while maintaining a comfortable, elegant ambience. "Took my husband here for his birthday. Food and service was fantastic. I even added a note to my reservation to have a bottle of champagne presented to us upon seating. They followed those instructions exactly, and the waiter had picked out a fantastic bottle. I'm lucky I live so close because I will be back often. I don't know what took me so long to try this place, but I'm sure glad I did."

"Barolo Grill remains one of the best Denver restaurants. I have been there a dozen times over the years and this last meal was the most memorable. Delectable food that was ingeniously presented, impeccable service and an extensive wine list that was worth the read. Our waiter revealed an impressive knowledge of the wines as he helped us choose the perfect bottle. The ambience was welcoming and upbeat with a lovely decor. Though the restaurant was full, we never felt rushed."

"We finally got to Barolo Grill having tried twice before but canceling because of conflicts. We were not disappointed. Wonderful mixed drinks and wine by the glass, warm greeting by hostess and excellent wait staff. We shared the romaine salad with anchovies followed by pastas, one risotto and one ala pied. We will return the next time we are in Denver."

"The service was great, lots of attention.
The goat cheese and beet salad was amazing, creative and a great pairing of flavors.
The roasted pheasant salad, a wonderful combination of greens, cheese and blueberries, awesome.
The pasta was tender and your sauces are always delicious.
Even though we wanted to order the beef, we ended up with the Duck and it was so tender and flavorful, it may become one of my new favorites.
We were very full at the end of the meal, but had to dive into the "best in the state" creme brulee !"

"My wife took me to Barolo for my birthday, just as she had done 20 years ago before we were married. Barolo continues to be one of the best in Denver. "I had a Board of Directors dinner at Barolo Grill last week and it was outstanding. We had the unique opportunity to sit in their private wine room. The room was fantastic but the service, the food and the wine were out of this world. Blair, the owner, ordered everything from the food to the wine for us and it was impeccable. What a difference pairing can make on a meal.
Blair not only picked out amazing food and wine but he gave us a tutorial - flavors, history, region and fun tidbits - of each bottle of wine he served.
All I can say is WOW! What an evening!"

"Trish and I had dinner at the Barolo Grill for her birthday. We have eaten here before and the experience was just as good as on previous visits. I very much like the changing menu. There is something for every taste.

"Everything was wonderful as far as food and drink go, but it always seems to take awhile for the server to get to you, take a orders. "I don't think there are enough words to describe how fantastic dining here can be. We ordered the chefs tasting coupled with the wine pairing and every course was excellent. Our wait person, Grant, knew everything there was to know about each course and why it was paired with a certain wine. Grant, you are the best and we hope to dine there again soon. "Barola Grill.... First experience was good. Not great. Food was good. Server was very knowledgeable. The one problem that I thought was pretty significant. The upper booths across from the bar have a divider wall thats about chest hieght from the floor between the bar and the booths. Several times the server reached over this divider to serve. Very un professional . Showing a laziness that the server could not take the 6 or 8 steps around this divider to serve table. If it were my position of authority. This would not be tolarable at such an establishment. A dive restuaraunt. I would say this would be acceptable. But still rude."

"Everything we ordered, and since it's all likely to change on the menu I won't enumerate, was excellent. We were there with our 17 year old grandson who enjoys good food and had a lovely evening. Service was great. But it was solely because of the Open Table reviews that we went there, so I really appreciate the accuracy of all of you other diners of pointing us regularly to terrific restaurants when we're in a new city!"

"My boyfriend and I chose to dine here after hearing that the food was excellent and the ambiance perfect for a fancy date night. Overall, the food defintely met our expectations, but the wait staff appeared short handed and slightly overwhelmed, especially late on a Saturday night. However, they still did a great jobt at being conversational and accomdating."

"From the moment we stepped out of our car, we were treated like royalty.Our server was phenomenal. The food was excellent,with many delicious items to choose from. Opportunities to have a taster portion were offered which was much appreciated.The wine was decanted and poured seamlessly throughout the meal. Seldom have we been to a restaurant in the Denver area as superb as Barolo Grill.As we left, the valet remembered our names and swiftly brought our car around. We will return."

"My girlfriend and I were celebrating a big anniversary and wanted to do something special. Barolo Grill was certainly that something special. From the communication before we arrived through the dining experience- everything lived up to the expectations we had heard about. The hostess sat us at the best table in the house in front of the fireplace. The food, wine, service and atmosphere were wonderful. We can't wait to come back again next year to celebrate another anniversary. Thank you."
