Chef Justin Beckett brings together what matters to him most: family, friends and honest, incredible food. "Bland fish, nearly raw brussel sprouts and a whole lot of nothing special. First, the menu online is only a sample--not what you will see at the restaurant. We ordered the appetizer/brussel sprouts. The flavor was pretty good, but the sprouts were very undercooked and so chewy we just couldn't finish them. Next came the halibut--it was anything but special. It had a few scattered veggies that were bland and then topped with the fish which was void of taste. We attempted to add flavor with salt and pepper, but in the end we were sorry we had chosen this restaurant. We are health conscious foodies and this apparently was not a good fit for this restaurant. I guess it is better suited for it's shepherd pie and ribs."

"Beckett's Table was great. We are talking about contemporary comfort food with a twist and with enough sophistication to make it an indulgent gourmet meal: Classics refined to perfection. Very delicious and we would visit again. The restaurant looks great too. There is attention to detail and presentation, and service is excellent. We came with our 21 month old and she accidently knocked over her bowl of edamame (which she loves) which broke, she was so sad for losing the edamame and even for breaking the bowl. No worries. Staff replaced the bowl and brought more peeled edamame and baby was super happy and pleased again.
We were well taken care of and had a delicious meal. Once again: we would return and I definitely recommend this place."

"We went here for a Mothers Day brunch so the menu was different, however they still had several standard items which we ordered. We ordered their roasted brussle sprouts which were still very hard and seemed not fully cooked. In fact all of their vegetables seemed under-cooked. We also tried their mac n cheese which had an almost herbal or lavender flavor and was very odd. Their short rib was quite excellent, however the rest of the meal really left a lot to be desired. Probably won't be going back but maybe someone with a more exotic palate might enjoy it more. The waitress seemed friendly until we stated we would not be ordering any alcohol with our meal. After that, she seemed to only do enough to get by with our table."

"This is a great spot for friends and families to meet. Any small group would be comfortable here as well as a couple. Our server was excellent (friendly and knowledgeable). The tables at the back of the room have the piped in music a little loud for us, but the rest of the room is great. The menu is fabulous, the chef talented. I don't say this easily. We are a family of foodies and enjoy cooking ourselves so we can be picky. We all loved our choices. The food was outstanding and we will most certainly visit again."

"We love BT! The food is fabulous, the service is impeccable. Everyone treats you like you are family. You MUST make a reservation, however, unless you want to sit at the common table near the bar. The menu is limited but everything on it is delicious and fresh. My special love is the shrimp and grits!"

"We sat outside while it's still cool enough to do so comfortablely. Shared the salad special which was wonderful. Who ever heard of Glacier lettuce? Meatloaf was also a special that night. It was great paired with mashed potatoes. Also tried the short rib. It too was great. The coconut cake dessert was fabulous. I wanted to lick the platter. Our server was great but I can't remember her name."

"The service was excellent! The food at this restaurant was excellent. However, my husband is attempting to eat healthy and ordered a salad for dinner. When it arrived, it was laughable with regard to the portion size. For the amount charged, much more should have been delivered. It was a damper on an otherwise excellent meal--the other four of us enjoyed our our food and the presentation."

"Food was excellent and prices very reasonable. Menu changes, but try the sausage and grits appetizer, brussel sprouts with pancetta for appetizers. They are divine! All 4 of us loved our entrees: pork osso bucco confit, pasta with sausage, short rib, and chicken with bacon biscuit stuffing. And whatever you do, don't miss the fig pecan pie with mascarpone topping!"

"Beckett's table was recommended to me by a friend and I'm SO glad! The restaurant is energetic and has a great atmosphere! I loved that the chef is present and visiting the guests. Our server was very professional while still being relaxed. I felt like it was a dining experience rather than just a meal. I LOVED the deep fried deviled eggs! The chocolate covered bacon, caramel, peanut butter, homemade marshmallow smores were amazing!!! The entree menu is somewhat limited but there is still something for everyone and delicious. I will go back for sure and look forward to dining there in the future."

"Another great meal at Beckett's. This has become our go-to place when we're tired of trying to find another special occasion spot. Some spots have come close and some have bordered on pathetic. When the check comes for $100 or more for 2 people and you're disappointed, you almost want to give up trying a new restaurant. That's why it's Beckett's from now on when we don't want to take any chances with our high end dining dollar."

"After reading a couple write ups about the food and cocktails l was eager to try it. I took a party of five and we must be honest...the place did not live up to its hype or our expectations. "Four of us went to this restaurant to celebrate birthday and friendship. Overall, we were very happy with the dishes including 2 appetizers, 2 pork chop dishes, a salmon dish, and a chicken dumplin bowl. The food was prepared almost perfect and the ingrediants used were creative and fresh. Our server was a young lady who was very knowdgeable and had pleasantly handled all of the questions to help with our order. A slight disatisfaction was caused by the air conditioned cold air blowing too much to our direction. It somewhat distracted us from a total enjoyment of our conversation and the food. But, without doubt, I will recommend this restaurant for its delicious food and interesting ambion."

"Had the halibut, and it was super, my wife, a vegitarian, had the veggie plate, with a strawberry compote. It to was very good and quite creative. Sis had a burger, which she raved about, and was so big, that she could only finish half. Topped off, we went on a Sunday evening, and the AZ wines were 1/2 price. What a bargain.

"With much anticipation, we arrived at Beckett's where we greeted warmly and seated promptly. The first area of disappointment was the table service (our server had a tendency to leave abruptly while our group was attempting to order! and he commented upon clearing "whoa, some people brought their appetites" and was insistent upon referring to women in the group as girls). The other was the food. Items looked fantastic on the menu, but were oversauced and generally mediocre. The high note were the desserts. Not good enough to return, I am afraid."

"This has to be one of my very favorite restaurants in the Scottsdale-Phoenix area however, after many visits this most recent one was not quite up to par. The food was good but not great as usual. Now the restaurant was very busy, more so than I had ever experienced so perhaps that was the reason or maybe there was something else going on that I was not aware of. That being said, the meal and the fabulous fig and pecan pie dessert was sub par compared to what I have experienced in the past."

"My fifth time dining here and the food is what keeps me coming back! Ordered a three course meal and finished every bite. Becketts Table is the only place where I'll eat all my brussel sprouts and wish I had more. The dinner was amazing and my guests ate up every single bite. Finished off the meal with the chocolate covered bacon s'mores and it left me wanting some more. Overall great experience and worth the 15 mile drive into Phoenix!"

"Our second visit to Beckett's Table was necessary since the menu offers so many interesting "foodie" adventures. I chose the salmon which was so colorful I took a picture of it. Each bite was a pairing of flavors I have never tried. My friends wife chose the chicken and dumplings on my recommendation. I tasted it and agreed that the flavor was less than last time I had it. That was a bit of disappointment. There was more dumpling than chicken.My best friend had the pork chop and could not believe the portion size and excellent flavor. We dined patio, normally I don't eat outside but this was great.Beckett's Table can get spendy but to me it's one of those situations that is worth it.This is a cool place to eat! I love bringing guests here."

"overall service + food very good. ordered the fried deviled eggs app. it was good, but wouldn't recommend if trying deviled eggs the 1st time.
ordered the beef bourguignon shepard's pie (which i ordered and was very tasty. the gravy from the meat with the mashed potatoes on top was great) and short ribs entrees. friends said they'd order the short ribs again no questions asked.
for dessert had coconut cake and was ok. the brown butter ice cream that came with it was yummy though. drink menu had good variety.
one service note: entrees came out very close to apps and waiters were very surprised and apologized for quick timing. i don't think that was normal. i didnt mind thought as i prefer food comes out hot whenever its ready."

"I booked a reservation with open table knowing the place can get busy. Unfortunately when we arrived, even though they had us down for the reservation we were asked to wait at the bar until something opene up along with those without reservations. It was 30 minutes before our table was ready. One seated the service was good and the food fantastic (small portions though, so beware)."

"My friend and I had the pork osso buco confit. The pork was amazing, but I'm not a fan of the spaetzle. My wife had the salmon and she loved it. I liked the atmosphere and it looks like it could be a great weekend night spot. Kind of reminds me a little of Chelsea's kitchen which I really love. "This was our first visit and immediately liked the indoor/outdoor feel and the friendly staff. We came during brunch and the only problem was choosing something from the wonderful selection of brunch and "favorites" options. Everyone enjoyed the taste and presentation of their dishes. We would recommend the the shrimp and sausage with grits, smoked salmon plate althought is was light on the condiments and any of the salads if wanting something lighter. We ordered the s'mores for dessert and was not disappointed.
Our waiter had trouble remembering a few of our requests, but immediately corrected the issues when reminded.
All in all we enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back!"
