Brinkley's Station in Midtown is where the locals gather to catch up over great food and drinks. The fresh and delicious locally-sourced menu along with its lively atmosphere make Brinkley's a must-visit destination. The menu includes pub classics like 3-Cheese Mac and Cheese and the best Grass-fed burger around. House specialties like the Artisinal Pigs in a Blanket, Lobster Club Sandwich, custom drink menu and New York State cheese menu keep the regulars coming back for more.
"We had brunch here with 5 people. The food is very good, though the selection may be a little smaller than other brunches in town. The egg and spinach sandwich on English muffin and the vanilla Frech Toast were standouts. The chickpea/eggplant burger was also very good. They have a sriracha Bloody Mary that is the best Bloody Mary we've ever had (we had it virgin). We'd have liked to see breakfast meats on the menu (including non-pork choices). The only meat is prosciutto. Some sides, like hot cereals, grits, hash browns, would also be nice.
Ambiance is pub-like, with some interesting pictures on the walls. Music is fabulous--old Motown, soul and beach music, but set too loud for completely comfortable conversation.
Service was atten"

"We had been to Desmond's, the previous restaurant at this address. We were very disappointed to find that Brinkley's Station was now more of a bar than a restaurant. This was not obvious when we checked their online menu. It was too loud for us and the very young hostesses were more interested in themselves than in the patrons. The wait staff was good, as was the food. I don't think we will return."

"I think this restaurant gets a lot of business by virtue of its location. The food was okay, the beer prices were insane. $8.75 for a Gennesee Cream Ale? Yow. Our service was pleasant and efficient, our food merely meh. Not bad, but nothing to write home (or a review) about."

"This review is for brunch only. This is a solid brunch spot in an otherwise sort of bland area for restaurants. We came at 11am on a Saturday so it was very empty and quiet while they were just opening. Aside from the emptiness I liked the decor and then ambiance here. The food was pretty good, nothing to write home about but again, a good choice above most other options around here. I had the smoked salmon and scallion scramble and it was a little bland but no complaints. My friends had the "messy breakfast sandwich" which they really liked."

"How can this place be considered a "brunch place" if they only serve coffee....no cappuccino, no lattes... Just coffee, kinda weird. Also, the portions were very small. After getting the fish tacos (only two instead if the standard three tacos) I was still hungry."

"Had the nicest waitress ever. She was very sweet and accomadating considering we had a group of annoying guys seated next to us that were bothering us. We ordered the mac and cheese which was great. It was'nt too rich and it was perfectly creamy. We also ordered the fish tacos which were amazing, so delicious and the calamari. Their cocktail menu is very nice. We started with the gin cocktail w/ champagne. Very nice! Next we had the vodka cocktail that we just loved. Great place, fun and energetic. Definitely will be going back."

"Celebrated Valentines day with my special someone! Great hopping bar scene in the front and we weren't sure what to expect. We were immediately taken to our seats to a cozy two seater in the back away from the remains of what after work crowd was left. I highly recommend the Baha fish tacos to start. My entree was the lobster club sandwich which was to die for served with the crispiest most outstanding sweet potato fries. My girlfriend was treated to a full hour of complimentary champagne bar, how can you go wrong. Server was very good and didn't miss a beat with toppin of that glass. Would highly suggest Brinkleys station and we will definitely be going back! We will see ya there :)"

"The first impression is really good; the bar scene is lively, music is going, the room is dimly lit (also in a good way) and the decor is cool. The waitress we had was really friendly and did a good job. I ordered the special burger they have and my wife had the chicken and romaine dish; bob were good but mine was difficult to eat...tasty but tall & slippery. My only issue was that we felt rushed. Our food came very quickly, which isn't a bad thing, but also didn't give us much time to settle in. Because of the slippery burger, I couldn't put it down and basically wolfed it in 3-4 minutes. The busboys pounced on any empty dishes, again not a bad thing, but we felt watched. After my last sip of beer, my glass was instantly taken away."

"I found Brinkley on a top brunch spot list and it did not disappoint. Great old-NYC parlor feel to it, located across from bloomingdales in midtown. We rolled in ready for some fun and grabbed a round of Toasted Nuts — blue pt. toasted lager & a shot of pecan bourbon. Give it a try, the bourbon is way too smooth, in a good way. They also have a nice selection of bloody mary's and NY state beer and wines. Our server was enthusiastic and gave great input. We feasted on oatmeal, smoked salmon scramble, burger, and way too many sweet potato fries. All was delicious, and we didn't scratch the surface of the good items to order. We had to run out early, but will certainly be back to park for an all-day event. Can't wait."

"Food was not great, but good. Pleasant friendly waitress with good knowledge of food and beer menu. However, the incredible noise level makes the overall experience less than pleasurable."
