"I recommended the Asian-style sea bass to my friends and they were not disappointed...it is still the best. I tried the halibut entree and corn/crab chowder (bland/put some kick in it!) which were just average. Our server seemed to be rushing us yet we still waited for our drinks. Service just didn't seem in-sync. A bit over-priced but I keep coming back."

"It was our first time dining at Wildfish Seafood Grille and we will definitely come back! My husband and I were escorted to our seat and were welcomed with personalized anniversary card and a rose on our table. The seafood dishes that we ordered were excellent! The flambéed pineapple upside-down cake with pecan praline ice cream was to die for! It was such a lovely place to celebrate our 13th year wedding anniversary!"

"At first we were a bit surprised by the prices (starters around $15; main around $30-$45). We all ordered fish and weren't disappointed. We had the Atlantic Sole in a Parmesan crust, the salmon and the tuna. The portions were really big and worh every penny. We shared 2 sides for 4.
We also shared two deserts: a warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and a pineapple cake with pecan ice cream. Both absolutely brilliant.
The wines also were absolutely amazing.
In the end we had a bill of $200 for 4 excl. tips.
The service was very friendly and efficient.
This is the perfect place if you would like to have great seafood and have a special occasion to celebrate."

"Our waitress wasn't able to give our large party the service we expected. At some points, she was making our drinks as well as servicing them. At a restaurant of this price point, that's unacceptable. At the beginning, we waited up to 30 mins for a drink before we spoke up. Mgmt was on it once it was brought to their attention."

"Consistently good, which is why we keep coming back for special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. Wildfish lives up to its name because the seafood is always fresh and cooked with creativity. They have a killer, over the top dessert for special occasions: upside-down pineapple cake, which they light on fire. The restaurant is attractive, but there is no view or great outdoor dining, which we usually go for, but at Wildfish we never miss these things because the dining experience is intimate with great food and superb service."

"We eat at Wildfish frequently and LOVE them! The fish is fresh and perfectly prepared and all the sides are yummy! Don't like fish? they also serve one of the best filets I have had in OC. My favorite entree is the SeaBass, pan roasted, or the Lemon Sole. All the side dishes are so good that we have trouble picking which ones to get - Monterrey Corn, Truffle Mac n Cheese, Sauteed Spinach...all great. Don't forget dessert - although Chocolate is my thing, my favorite dessert at Wildfish is the Pineapple Upside Down Cake, served with flaming rum! We have introduced many friends to this great restaurant and looking forward to our next visit!"

"Our server Greg was wonderful. We decided to eat outside in the enclosed outdoor bar. There were many talbes, outside and it was a beautiful evening. They even have heaters if it got too cold. "The little things matter. I made a reservation on OpenTable and added comments as I normally do. It was my wifes birthday and requested a nice table...pretty simple stuff.
We had a great table, the hostess said happy birthday, there was a BDay card on the table along with a rose, the waitress also said happy BDay and they were nice enough to have a special dessert.
Thank you for reading the notes and thank you for making it a memorable night.
...and yes the food is fantastic and the wine pairing for my wifes dinner as spot on.
...the but is the swordfish was a great cut but the sauce was a bit over bearing. still good but not great."

"My boyfriend and I sent to Wildfish Grille to celebrate his birthday. We are trying to eat healthier so we felt fish was a very good option. Upon our arrival, we were seated relatively quickly. At the table, there was a note wishing my boyfriend a happy birthday which I thought was very sweet. The waitress and staff was very attentive and information on selections and popular items on the menu. It can be very romantic but that night there was a birthday party at the bar with a bunch of ladies and they were screaming at the top of their lungs every time they decided to take a sip of their drinks. It was rather annoying but understandable. As for the food, completely mouthwatering. It was a bit salty but still very tasty."

"Really enjoyed our meal. Service was great and our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable. A little loud while we were waiting at the bar for our table, but when we sat down, I guess due to the layout, the noise level had dropped appreciably and we could easily talk with one another. The food was excellent. Appetizers were kind of large, so by the time we had our meal we passed on dessert. Would recommend anyone giving this restaurant a reply."

"This is our second trip to Wildfish. Both times the service was very good and the food was excellent. Sea Bass melted in your mouth, Salmon was great. The calamari appetizer was excellent. They have some sort of kids menu which was verbally given to us which was nice because we weren't expecting that but the macaroni and cheese was too strong for the kids so beware of that. We have recommended Wildfish and will definitely be back."

"My wife and I went to Wildfish Seafood Grille to celebrate her birthday. We arrived at the restaurant about 10 minutes before our reservation and to our delight our table was already set up and waiting for us. The restaurant staff even provided a rose and card welcoming us for my wife's birthday celebration! The service was impecable! The quality and preparation of the food was top notch! Amazing service, amazing food, & their Pineapple Upsidedown cake was to die for! We are definitely going to visit this restaurant again!"

"It was 3pm when we began searching OpenTable for a place to dine that night. That we could only score a 5:30 reservation suggested that this might be the place to go. It was. Sensational service and lots of unique preparations of seafood. The baked Sea Bass and the Parmesan Crusted Lemon Sole were perfect and the Cashew Calamari had a nice heat to it. Wonderful evening."

"This is the place to celebrate your birthday. They make you feel special. A card was waiting at the table wishing me a happy birthday as well as being given a long stem rose. The food was delicious, wild mushroom salad was to die for! They also let you choose the dessert of your choice which is a really nice touch! My family and I had a really nice birthday experience. "We started with a wedge salad and the seared tuna appetizer. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our choices. We've ordered the Hong Kong seabass in the past and it continues to exceed expectations. It literally melts in your mouth. You will not be disappointed. We had a side of crab fried rice and truffle mac & cheese and it just pushed us over the edge with wonderful flavor. We ended with a panacotta dessert which was very tasty."

"This is the second time my business partner and I have chosen Wildfish while being in town from Las Vegas, Nevada and this restaurant does not disappoint. The first time coming we did not make a reservation (silly us), but sat in the bar area. It was absolutely amazing! The bar manager came over and at the end of our meal she sent out a dessert thanking us for being in the restaurant industry. This is something neither he or I have seen before. Upon our second visit we made a reservation and we're not let down the second time. Just as friendly service and knowledgeable staff. Thank you!"

"Took my husband here for his birthday. Wonderful experience. Table was ready and waiting, with a birthday card from the restaurant already on the table when we arrived for our reservation.. Service was absolutely amazing. Attentive without being intrusive. Food was excellent with many appetizers, salads, and first courses to choose from if you wanted smaller portions.there is a large patio for dining but we chose inside. Very vibrant bar scene with many people having a drink after work. We went on a Wednesday at 7 pm...noise was noticeable at first, but died down, as bar patrons left. One caution...on a weekend it might be very loud inside with more bar patrons and diners. outstanding experience..will be back!!"

But even better was the easy commute was the food and the amazing service. Our server was extremely personable and made sure we had a pleasurable experience.
