Wright’s at The Biltmore, the signature restaurant of the historic Arizona Biltmore resort, prepares classic favorites – but reinvented for today’s tastes. Wright’s skilled chefs have taken original recipes of classic dishes and refreshed them with innovative touches and the latest culinary trends to create timeless cuisine.
"Wright's is a beautiful restaurant set in a beautiful resort. The ambiance was superb - quiet, sophisticated, without being stiff. The service was top notch; our waiter was always at hand and accommodating. The brunch offered a delicious variety of everything one would want in a brunch menu and the desserts were divine. The only issue was that the price was misquoted on the web site as much, much lower and the staff member who called to confirm our reservation did not clarify that as they were supposed to. The bill was a shock! To their great credit, the restaurant honored the web site price which showed a lot of class. That's why I would recommend Wright's to friends and would visit there again."

"Although there a re a limited number of selections on the menu, our dishes were excellent and innovative. That being said, I think that if I were a regular at this restaurant, I would need more variety on the menu."

"The wait-staff was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The selections that night all sounded superb and we were sorry we could only try two. Portions were perfectly sized and presented in a timely fashion. I would absolutely go back for another special dinner."

"I felt the menu contained limited choices of high-priced selections in all categories (starters, soup/salad, entrees). The portions also seemed limited. The bread and dessert were the best part of our meal. By the way...we weren't paying."

"Amazing experience: Terrific food, service and setting! The waiter was phenomenal--he was there when we needed him, never rushed us, was very patient with our orders, gave good suggestions on the menu and was very personable yet discreet. Can't remember when I've had better service than this. Our booth was semi-private and our family was able to talk and visit as the noise level was remarkably quiet. The occasion was my Mom's 90th Birthday and Wright's made it very special for us. My parents and family are still talking about their enjoyable experience. We could not have done better!"

"Great brunch but not sure its worth the 95.00 at Easter.... not sure if they raised the price just for Easter or not. Champagne and food was of good quality."

"The menu is exactly what it purports to be: a twist on classics. The waitstaff was amazing and I really appreciated their recommendations as they were right on the mark. I had the filet "au poivre" which was really a wonderful take on what has at other restaurants turned out to be too heavy on the pepper. Here it was perfect, melt in your mouth with the potatoes and bleu cheese taking it over the top. If you are there on a night when the pastry chef is making souffles, take them up on the offer. The best chocolate souffle I've had in decades. Their new strawberry souffle is also going to be a winner. Put this on your list of restaurants!"

"Expensive, drinks not included. Quality of food available was great, but selection could have been broader. Hot food items incur additional charge. Buffet only had cold items."

"The Sunday Brunch was not as satisfying as we had expected. The options on the cold bar were limited. They had caviar, so if that had been one of our cravings, it might have been more special."

"A very special dinner , excellent food, excellent service by James. A cozy table for a romantic dinner. Possibility to eat outside if wanted but the inside renovated room makes it great for the overall view of this restaurant. "The immediate feeling you get walking in to the Biltmore is the artistry of Frank Lloys Wright. He was different and so is Wrights. The food is high end and expensive for the quantity you get, but its prepared very well and the atmosphere is great."

"Would go for lunch to view the grounds and architecture. A good waitstaff should know when to appear and when not to appear. This was not so. Food was godd but not inspired. Cotton candy served at the end of the meal, what is that about.
When serving espresso it's always appreciated to bring sugar and a coffee spoon. Neither of these appeared. Till we finally flagged someone down."

"Wrights is in the fabo Biltmore Hotel...but not your typical hotel restaurant. It has charisma, FLW charm, fun ambiance, professional service and fantastic food. The hotel was hopping with people so it really made the experience."

"Trying hard for a classic menu but the food was only just ok. Crispy duck wasn't crispy. Salmon was dry. Veggie options poorly executed. Blue Cheese potatos dry. Its a shame because the venu is stunning and service friendly and good."

"Scallop entree and duck entree were good, except both were extremely salty. Perhaps when ordering, request less salt. Cocktail shrimp were delicious as well as the focaccia bread and cranberry bread."

"Each of us in the party ordered a different entree and two of us thought it was the best we'd had! Notable entrees were the diver scallops and medium rare filet "au poivre". The lobster bisque was outstanding and the souffle for dessert was enough for the four of us to share and was absolutely delicious too. We also thought the choice of large (6 oz) or small (3 oz) entrees was perfect!"

"Brunch was a great way to experience the Arizona Biltmore and it's beautiful architecture. I was open to experiencing new foods but there were very few normal things on the brunch buffet or menu. My husband did enjoy the blood orange pancakes. I will say that the desserts were absolutely stunning in presentation."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Wright's. I was celebrating my birthday and was made to feel very special by the staff. Our waiter was excellent and very attentive. We were seated in a booth that was very quiet and separated from others - perfect table! We will definitely return to Wright's when we return to Phoenix."

"Traveling with my sisters and mother, we had an excellent Sunday brunch at Wrights. We had planned to include the hot plates, but found the cold buffet to be outstanding and more than filling. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing and the wait staff was attentive. We would definitely return."

"We have not been to Wright's since they remodled and made changes to their menu. We were pleased to see it was still the same lovely ambiance, with that comfortable sophistication we have enjoyed in the past. The food was very good and plated beautifully. As always the service was top of the line. I wish I could remember our waitresses' name, she was a delight. We definitely will return soon."

"After reading mostly wonderful reviews, I was a little disappointed by the brunch at Wright's at the Biltmore. Don't get me wrong, the place is beautiful and the service was first rate, but a brunch for $29 that doesn't offer any omelettes, french toast or pancakes is not a great brunch to me and my guests. It was basically cold plates of fish (shrimp, scallops, crab, et al), all pretty good and different cheeses and cured hams. For an additional $10 you could choose small plates of hot dishes which a couple of my guests did. The gooseberry flapjacks were excellent, but the beef benedict was too heavy with carmelized onions for my taste. The choice of sweets was good. Again, brunch was good, but still lacking for me."

"The food was excellent, but the experience was marred with a Wine bait and switch. The extensive wine list is obviously filled with lots of holes. A 2009 was on the list, but a 2011 was served with no explanation. For one who does not focus on vintage no big deal except that the price should be about 30% less, but it makes quite a difference for one focused on quality. Very disappointing. Good news is that the wine was comped."

"It's a lovely room and of course the Biltmore hotel is an historic landmark. The space is comfortable and elegant, and the staff are attentive although their well-rehearsed 'verbiage' (there's even a script on the waiters' counter to remind them what to say) is diberately and entirely designed to get you to spend more in the restaurant. I'd say it's fractionally overpriced for what it delivers and the menu is quite short, read it carefully first (available online) to be sure you're ordering exactly what you want."

"Wrights at the Biltmore was the epitome of class and elegance. It was my first time there for brunch, and I made the reservation for six of us, as it was my girlfriends birthday. We got a perfect table with a great view of the whole restaurant, and our waiter, Ken, took excellent care of us. The food was amazing, and I never had something in my mouth that wasn't incredible. We ordered the buffet and the hot selections, all of which were unique and very delectible. We brought a cake in from AJ's, that they even had the pastry chef cut into beautiful slices and plated for us, which, in our opinion, went above and beyond. The piano music was soothing and the atmosphere was so relaxing. If I had more than two thumbs, it would be more..."

"Sunday brunch at the Biltmore exceeded our expectations! Items offered on both cold and hot brunch menu ranged from comfort to savory to high-end fare. The presentation is done with individual plating, allowing the diner to choose smaller portions thereby lessening that overwhelming feeling of most typical brunches. Loved the option of adding any or all of seven hot menu choices for an additional fee as our party of four each chose something different so lots of opportunities to take a nibble off someone else's plate! Live piano music adds to the ambiance and the waiters at the Biltmore are some of the best in the business."
