"I took my mom here for dessert for Mother's Day..the dessert was delicious and we had a good time...However I had a coupon from Restaurant.Com that I was not able to use for the dessert. That was fine however I felt like the Manager was rude and talking loud for others to hear when she explained the reason I could not use the coupon.
Then she just left the table. I felt like she could have been more discreet when explaining the details to me..and she rudely said 'if you would have read the fine print you would have known and that is why we ask for the coupon up front and the waiter would have told you beforehand" REALLY????? I just thought it was very rude of her to say that to me."

"Our food was awesome as usual, however, the waitress was not attentive at all, either she was preoccupied or she had way too many table, worst experience we ever had there, had to wait for everything, from beginning to end, desert, check, everything, and brought wife barely warm tea w/ desert, then we never saw her again...I spent a lot of money, and was just really disappointed by the service...the waitress was very nice, and was the daughter of an apparent manager, whom we were introduced to...just horrendous service, I never complain...just really need to this time, perhaps the restaurant was surprisingly overwhelmed, but we purposely went out the night before mothers day to avoid this exact situation"

"Considering the price of the food, I expected better. The server appeared impatient and as if it was an inconvenient to wait on us. Maybe because he knew his 19% tip was already included. We had to ask for our glasses to be refilled, etc. The waitress for the table behind us was more attentive to her table, patient and explained the process. The entree portions were very small and when I complained to the manager, she basically accused me of sharing, which had she paid attention, everyone on our table had their own separate plates. The tables are rectangular which are not good for sharing fondue pots. I have no desire to return to this place. It's overrated and overpriced with bad service."

"We commented on the quiet. I have sat in other areas and they weren't so quiet, so it was noticeable. Our waitress told us at the end of the meal that we were her first table. She did a great job! It was just my husband and myself, and everything was timed perfectly. She explained the menu to us since we had not been in since it was changed. Great experience."

"It was my boyfriends birthday so I wanted to do something different and more intimate. I looked up the melting pot online and immediately thought this is it! Especially when I say that they can have things waiting for you at the table such as; balloons, roses, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. When we arrived the staff was very nice and the place was beautiful. We were seated immediately and my boyfriend was so surprised when he saw the roses and chocolate covered strawberries I had waiting on the table. The waited was delighted to help us with the menu since it was our first time there and the food was excellent. I would recommend The Melting Pot to anyone rather its for a romantic night out or just because."

"Was not interested in watching my own food cook. The food (veggies and bread) brought to dip in the cheese dip was dried out and stale. The service was terrible!!! Our waiter did not know anything about wine, though he pretended like he did, and was very rude. This was our first time to the Melting Pot and instead of nicely answering our questions, he was downright rude about it, as if we were bothering him by being there. That totally ruined the mood and we ended up leaving after the first course. The wine was good - once I finally got it."

"Change of menu for entrees from our last visit, near Christmas of 2012 but a nice change. There seemed to be a scaling back in the size of portions, however still a sufficient amount of food per person and the service was good and the we never felt pushed to finish our meal. Still a great place to relax and enjoy food and the company of friends and family."

"We usually love to go to the Melting Pot and eat here often.Very disappointed in our forever lasting 3 hr dinner!Our server was very sweet, but would disappear. It took 45 min for our 1st course and another 45 minutes to get our dinner! We watched tables around us come and go before we even got our dinner.It wasn't until we finished our dinner that we saw a some urgency. Oh, maybe because it was 8:40 and they probably had a reservation for 9:00. She was taking our dessert order while we were finishing our dinner and had empty plates all around us.The check came with our dessert. Then other servers started to come to our table to help out and even brought our check up.After not being there, they were pushing us out.Felt really uncomfortable!"

"My husband and I ordered the bacon and brie cheese, an excellent addition to the menu. The meat and chocolate courses were also superb. I do have two complaints, however. The salads seemed to have shrunk considerably, which is unfortunate. I have always loved The Melting Pot's twist on the Caesar salad and was disappointed to find such a measly portion. My second complaint is about our waitress. Although she was friendly, she was inattentive. It took 3 hours to get through the whole experience. When we asked for extra dippers, by the time she arrived, most of our chocolate AND cheese had already burned to the edge of the pot. I've always enjoyed the Melting Pot, but this experience was really brought down by the service, unfortunately."

"I came to dine by myself for the wonderful food and a relaxing time. I was very pleased with the food (as always), however I feel that the service was to be desired. I was lookinng forward to having the ingredients added at the table and explained (that is part of the experience), but was somewhat disappointed when the server just brought out the pre-mixed/added pot. I also felt somewhat ignored because everything was brought out so slowly (I had the 4 course dining experience), as well as the time it took to bring my drinks to the table. I felt that because I was a single diner, I did not matter as much as tables with multiple guests. I will be coming back to the Melting Pot only because I love the food so much but hope to have better serv"

"Our experience at the Melting Pot was exceptional. From the moment I made the reservation (the girl was patient and offered a special treat for the birthday girl) to the moment we rolled out through the door, stuffed.
Our waitress was fantastic. She was friendly and fun, informative and helpful. she had a real focus on customer experience and made sure we were happy every step of the way.
The wine and drink list is ample. The food choices were plentiful but not overbearing. Our meal was excellent. The only thing I don't love is that they bring the same pot of cheese whether it's for 2 or 4 people, and we felt that we didn't get as much out of our appetizer. But we were thoroughly stuffed at the end, so I guess it was ok!"

"The food was very average and too pricey for what you get n terms of quality and quantity. It was the smallest $5 salad I have every had and it was not very tasty. It was fun for our kids who were enthralled with the fondue experince. Our serever, Alek was very friendly to the children and I appreciated that."

"We go to Melting Pot every year for my husband's birthday, as well as other times during the year. This year, the service was not great, and it was a big disappointment. Our waiter was obviously overwhelmed with a table FULL of young kids and the parents/chaperones for this table that were sitting several tables away. Due to the situation, he was serving this table packed with kids, and then the parents several tables away at the same time. He should have told his manager that he needed help rather than make us wait half an hour to get our drinks, and even longer to get our food. When you spend almost $200 for a meal, which is a LOT of money for us to spend on dinner, then you want a GREAT experience."

"Been dining with Melting Pot restaurants since 2004 and have never had a bad meal. Although I'll miss the "featured" Big night Out menu, the selection on the new 4 course menu proved advantageous since my wife and I could now order different entrees. I can also see how the new price points might entice new patrons. I'll continue to recommend the Melting Pot to everyone I know!"
