"If you're headed to the La Mirada Theater for the Performing Arts, this is your best bet for a great pre-theater dining experience. The entire menu is worth ordering - but careful not to over-indulge! The portions are generous and very well prepared. My wife who is vegetarian is also pleased. I'm an omnivore and the veal and sausage & peppers are both quite good. We'll be back."

"Took my grandmother and mom here for Mother's Day and they were blown away by the food. Grandma had the Chicken a la Romana and Mom had the Salmon ala Brace. They could not stop raving about the food. Service was a bit slower than normal, but I attribute that to it being Mother's Day. Service was still attentive and very polite."

"Ive been coming to A'Roma for over 20 years and the food and service has just gotten better and better. It's a great spot for a first date or to get together with family. You know that the service is good when they are still checking to see if you need anything else when the bill is already paid. Water glasses are refilled all the way until the time you get up to leave. Most places totally abandon you after the bill comes. I think that is tacky and discourteous. A little cold water goes a long way toward our perception of the staff at the end of the night. Excellent service is more important than the food."

"As usual our food was wonderful! But the service was not so good. We started with one waiter, who promptly left us after we said we wanted an extra minute to look over the menu. He never returned, so I had to grab another waiter to take our order. This waiter looked to be handling the entire room. I had to track him down numerous times to get our bill, extra silverware, etc. The food, however, was delivered to the table in a timely manner. A band was playing in the bar and was a bit too loud for conversation in the dining room.
My husband and I love this restaurant, but the service is a bit sketchy. This family run business needs to invest in some training."

"Restaurant came highly recommended for the food & easily accessible from the freeway. Host was very pleasant, but service was not the best at the table. I was meeting a client for lunch so decided to sit down at the table to wait. NOT one person that passed by asked if I wanted anything. A glass of wine or bread would have been nice as my client was 1/2 hour late. When she arrived, waiter came over & spit out the specials and walked away, not even a breathe for me to ask a question or order appetizers. When he came back took our orders, I specifically said, we want to start off with the Calamaris. Salad came, than followed our food. NO calamaris. :o( I didn't bother to ask for them as the meal was plenty. Food very good, would recommend."
