Baby Blues BBQ burst into the barbeque scene in 2004 by offering great soul food with a unique family atmosphere. We have been providing great service with a variety of mouth watering barbeque options since the day we opened our first restaurant in Venice, California. In a few short years, we now feature locations in Hollywood, San Francisco, and here in Philadelphia. Our menu features Memphis(St. Louis cut) ribs, dry-rubbed baby backs, Texas beef rib, brisket and pork slow smoked in Guinness beer, grilled marinated shrimp, catfish(blackened or fried), delicious home-made fixin's, home-made desserts, and home-made sauces that can satisfy any style taste buds. We also have a full service bar with a world class selection of craft, domestic, and imported beer, wine, and spirits. Come in, kick back, and enjoy!
"What I remember the most about this restaurant was our waitress, Torrie. She was a GEM. Attentive and very bubbly. I would go back just for her..and the blueberry cobbler!"

"BBQ covers it, pretty much entirely. But, lots of choices, beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, and in combinations. Bartender knew how to make my Manhattan. Elegant - not. But plenty to eat from lots of choices - it was hard to decide. And quite busy for a Tuesday night. I'll have no problem with going there again, when we're in Phila."

"Really good ribs, tasty sides, good beers. What more do you need? The rooms are a bit tight and our waitress seemed kinda clueless, but the atmosphere is pretty fun for the middle of Penn's campus. Looking forward to coming back to try more."

"This place leaves a lot to be desired. No one liked any of our food. The chicken was burnt, and the rubs were tough. I had to run down a server just to get my order in."

"My best friend and I came here on a Wednesday night before going to a concert. The food was great!! We had the Suicide King appitizer and beef brisket. We had the Gator Bait consisting of BBQ Shrimp and Catfish and the Baby Blue Bayou consisting of just BBQ Shrimp. The sides of mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, and greens were also delicious! I also had the apple cobler for dessert and that was good. Service was okay, not really impressed for how empty it was. I asked the waitress about their house wines since they're only $5 on Wednesdays. She pointed them all out so I was suprised when I was charge $10 a glass for the "house" Mascoto. It's a bit pricey but the food is well worth it. With a little issue with service this is a great place"

"Baby Blues BBQ has outstanding bbq! They have several variations of ribs AND bbq sauces to choose, great sandwiches, and terrific side dishes too -- the best coleslaw and mac n cheese around. The food is consistently delicious."
