"We're thrilled to solidify our place in San Francisco's culinary arts community with the opening of Bistro 10UN," said Art Institute of California - San Francisco President Byron Chung. "Whether the students are working in the kitchen or taking orders, it's an opportunity to learn all the facets of the restaurant business, preparing future culinary professionals for careers in the Bay Area and beyond."

"This was my 4th time coming to Bistro 10UN. The food has been consistently delicious. I have introduced three people to them and they have all been very favorably impressed by the food quality and value. They all promised to patronize Bistro 10UN in the future and to introduce it to others. I would recommend them without reservation, though I do recommend you make one to come here for lunch!"

"I brought some of my coworkers and they love this place too. They loved the Arnold Palmer, the Vietnamese Salad, the Grilled Hanger Steak, the Scottish Salmon, the Chocolate Mousse. We could actually carry on a pleasant conversation during our meal because of the sound proofing on the wall tempering the noise outside. The servers were very nice."

"I love Bistro 10UN and go there quite often for lunch. They are now open 4 days a week for lunch as opposed to the 2 days a week they had been for the last couple years. The price for a 3 course meal is extremely reasonable and the food is quite good."

"I would definetly consider this my place to come to for lunch when I visit San Fran. I was impressed with the service we received, the food was great. I never expected salmon to taste as good as mine did. I loved the risotto, and the ice-tea was probably the best I have ever had."

"I love that this is a student run restaurant and still is great food and service. I wish it was open for dinner but now that Bistro 10UN is open 2 more days- from Tuesday -Friday - we can enjoy it more. The pea soup appetizer was really great. My entree of salmon was cooked perfectly and service was efficient and prompt."

"The sausage fennel dish was mediocre at best. There was a real disconnect between the mint sauce and the spices in the meat , and I like to experiment.this was not good. The pork ossobucco appeared and tasted like the forgot to braise it. Tender but not very flavourful and not appealing to the eye. The unside down cake was heavy, tasted like it had been in the fridge.
The back of the red banquette near the window had an inch of dust on the top...very un appealing.
Our server was great as was the host.
We have been to a number of theses schools in different countries and they were a plus. This experience gets a c."

"Bistro 10 UN is a showcase for the Culinary Arts students of the Art Institute University San Francisco. The students prepare the meals and also function as waiter persons. The experience was throroughly enjoyable. The food was delicious, highlighting a variety of starters, entres and desserts. We had the winter squash risotto, arugula salad with citrus and candied pecans to start and the roasted chicken and local fish for entrees. They were both delicious, had great sides and the portions were more than adequate. It was a relaxed and quiet experience, since the tables are nicely spaced. Dessert was a delicious chocolate orange cake I sampled, but took with me to enjoy later. I plan to return soon and introduce others to this gem."
