"We attended to celebrate a special occasion. The service was outstanding, the view just the same.
The only "issue"of non-perfection was the temperature of the meals. The steaks were not hot.

"We received a promotion from The Breakers in FL for this restaurant. The promotion literature failed to advise that the restaurant is NOT located in The Breakers! and they provided no other information. it was a horrible run-around for us. When we finally got situated, after many phone calls from our car for clarification and directions to where the restaurant is actually located, , we did enjoy the restaurant very much."

"The floor to ceiling windows showcase the magnificent view of the lake, the island of Palm Beach and the ocean beyond. The Happy Hour bar scene was alive but not crazy. Our drinks were perfectly made, generous and relish. The 10 ladies in out Ladies Night Out group were seated by the window as are most tables. We were able to talk and hear each other. Our waiter was most cooperative with our request for separate checks making life so much easier for us. Surprisingly the sushi was outstanding -a real sushi chef in the kitchen. All the other entrees came out promptly and hot, My scallops were really large and cooked through served with mushroom risotto - a combinations that worked well. The Salmon dish was also a winner."

"What a great place this is. Great views, as the restaurant is perched high above the city, and the food is fabulous. The Prime rib steak is outstanding - flavorful, tender, and cooked just right. And, it is huge! The crab cake appetizer was wonderful, as was the twice-baked potato, which was creamy and rich. The two desserts we tried, the key lime pie and the warm apple pie with ice cream were also excellent. Just a great place."

"Dining at the Top of the Point we were showered with excellent service combined with elegant ambiance. My wife’s lamb was outstanding, although my Mahi-mahi was quite ordinary, I must say the shrimp toping saved the day. Even though I would most certainly go back, the prices would restrict my visits to special celebrations only. Furthermore, we would suggest dining before sundown to make the most of the scenic view. All in all it was an evening well spent leaving us filled with anticipation for another celebratory event."

"This restaurant is definitely top of the line. It is very romantic and especially an enjoyable treat for a special occasion. The view is fantastic as it overlooks the intracoastal waterway and the ocean with a view of approximately 25 miles on a clear day! Our reservations were for 6:30 p.m. which gave us plenty of time to enjoy the daylight view and then watch the lights from Palm Beach and the city gently appear. The service was impeccable as was the food. Everything was timed perfectly with plenty of time in between courses. It is a very relaxing 2 hour dinner experience."

"It's a lovely location of course due to the view of the Ocean and Intracoastal. Obviously it is there to serve the purpose of a neighborhood gathering for area business people. Which is fine. But it did not have the feel of a traditional, fine restaurant (ambience). It was cavernous (we were seated in the bar area), and not cozy or particularly lovely. The service was outstanding; the food was very good and competes equally with the Atlantic Grille in Delray, or even Prime Catch in Boynton."

"This penthouse restaurant felt like a find, since we have long had a part-time residence on S. Flagler Drive. It has been managed by the Breakers since 2008, but apparently my family did not return after going there previous to Breakers management. We were very pleased with the service and the view is outstanding. The room was glacial and they apparently cannot control the temperature as it is in a large building, so they brought my mother a space heater! This won her over! She had the fresh local catch which she praised and I had the Filet Mignon, a small one, just right. We loved our waitress too. The wine was also a very good choice which was on special that day."

"The Top of the Point was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I had requested the possibility of an later reservation if one became available. I received a call saying it was possible, but we might not get a window table. After a bit of trying to figure it out, I asked the person what they would do. They said stick with the sure window table (I had mentioned it was for a very special birthday) so I agreed.
At our arrival we were asked who the "birthday girl"was.
Our dinners were incredible. All of us mentioned we each had a dinner to remember!!! We all had different entrees, one had soup, and two salads - great!
Wait staff terrific, helpful, not overbearing. Help with wine great - 2 beef, 2 seafood!

"Incredible view of the intracoastal, Palm Beach and the ocean. Fantastic service and absolutely delicious food. We loved the Key Lime Shrimp Scampi appetizer with roasted corn, Snapper, Sirloin (tons of flavor and so tender) and desserts. The Key Lime Pie is the best anywhere, the Flourless Chocolate Cake was paired perfectly with Peppermint Gelato and the Warm Apple Pie and Ice Cream with Caramel Sauce was delicious. And a lively crowd on a Wednesday night."

"Although we had a pleasant experience for our Anniversary the restaurant fell down in a few areas. The food is pricey and although it was tasty and well prepared, for the price I felt that the portions were small. The sides were chincy at best. The waiter was excellent and very attentive however I had ordered a special dessert which never appeared and my son had ordered a special surprise (before we arrived) which he was charged for and it never arrived either."

"Having previously had excellent dining experiences at Top of the Point, I was looking forward to introducing friends to this restaurant. Unfortunately, due to the extremely high noise level making if almost impossible to converse, a youngster playing games on his iPad with the sound turned on, a table with the best view seen only in a mirror, and, for some reason, a disappointing menu, neither my friends nor I enjoyed the evening.
On a positive note our waiter was excellent, and without going into details, honorably honest. Make sure you don't lose him!"

"Usually a restaurant with a great view has so so food and you don't mind because you're going for the view. Not so at Top of the Point. Run by the Breakers it is open for dinner (on Open Table too) and has it all. The best view in south Florida and excellent food to boot. I am usually a NY Strip guy but the Rib Chop as they call it is the best I've ever had.
If your willing to pay Capital Grille type prices but add the view of a lifetime, don't miss it."

""We enjoyed our birthday celebration.The atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and the ambiente very inviting. The view over the ocean was amazing. The food was outstanding, and I really appreciated the complementary three course meal for the birthday "boy." "Thanks to receiving the coupon we discovered a new favorite, after living here for 5 years! Jawdropping, breathtaking views were the best part! The service was awesome! The calarmari was perfect and we loved the sauces! The scallops were tender and tasty, with just the right amount of creamy risotto and asparagus. Delish! So enjoyed the apple pie, with the special touch of a chocolate "Happy Birthday"! We will definitely be back! Thanks!"
