"This was not as great as some of the reviews I read. The food was just OK. We waited a very long time to be served after we were seated. We had to go and ask for a wait staff to take our order. The outdoor patio decor was very nice. Good place for kids. It was graduation weekend and maybe they were overwhelmed. Not sure I will try it again on a non-busy night to see the difference. Based on my experience I can't recommend it. If something stood out it would have helped but nothing really did."

"We have been to Guadalajara Grill many times and we love it. There are two locations, but we find the Kolb Rd. location to have better food. It's so bright and festive inside and they have a nice new patio. You cannot beat the table-side salsa made-to-order; it's DELISH! In the evenings when the Mariachis are there, the energy in the air escalates. This restaurant isn't only good for tourists, locals love it as well. It's VERY busy in the evening, especially on Fri. & Sat. nights; we're SO appreciative to be able to make reservations via Open Table or the wait can be hour or longer (only large parties can make reservations by contact the restaurant). We highly recommend Guadalajara Fiesta Grill located in east Tucson."

"Guadalajara Grill is ALWAYS great! The salsa is the BEST; unfortunately, they're starting to charge for extra salsa. YUM! It's a fun, vibrant place and the Mariachis' are great. When it's busy, the service can be a little slow, but you can eat salsa and chips, so who cares. :o) Unless it's between the main mealtimes, due to the popularity, there can be a lengthy waiting; however, that can be avoided by making a reservation via Open Table. Thank-God for Open Table and I hope that they can get a lot more restaurants on-board quickly because SO many restaurants in Tucson have at least a 20-minute wait."

"A friend recommended Guadalajara Fiesta Grill and I will reconsider his recommendations in the future. Tucson has some of the best Mexican food north of the border but this is not one of them. Most of the food was fine but not great. The mariachis are fun and very good, but can make it hard to hear each other. There is a very nice outdoor patio that is less noisy but it was a chilly night and our party included my 92 year old mother."
