"Very disappointing experience, as compared to past experience-appetizer plate was small and paltry, and main course (surf and turf) was way overpriced(over $100 per) and unexpected, with small filet portion-although I should have asked price, they should have told me anyway, since it was so outrageous - will not come back"

"Lelli's is usually a great experience and my wife and I come for special occasions. This was the only time we were disappointed (5-5-2013). We were seated on time and the waiter took our order promptly. It was a long wait before our dinners showed up. I could write this off as due to "resetting" after a large group had left except that other diners who came in after us were served. My wine glass looked as if it had not been washed. It was replaced but still no dinners. After our plates showed up, our waiter never came back to check on us or our satisfaction. The hostess actually came over to check on us and I conveyed the above comments to her. She was understanding and pleasant. We will be back, with, I hope better service."

"I am always happy with the food choice. I dine out quite frequently (4-6 times per month) for dinner and often for lunch. I am impressed with the high quality of your staff from the valet on through the rest of the experienced waitstaff and the congenial hostess."

"Beautiful dining room in a beautiful setting. The filet was just as delicious as I remembered it from the original Lelli's downtown. We did miss the relish tray and side of pasta with our meal thoug!!"

"-Our salads were overdressed and our server placed too much cheese on them. The salad tasted wilted.
-My lamb chops had a lot of fat on them which was very disappointing.
-The young valet attendant was rude and had a bad disposition.
-Our server referred to us as "sisters" and that was slightly offensive for us as African American women."

"Disappointed…The restaurant has a lot of ambiance and the hostess was very pleasant but dinner service was slow and not as attentive as I was expecting. The bartender was lovely and did a fabulous job.They do have wonderful martinis. Our waiter had no personality just plopped the menus on the table with no introduction. Service was very slow…we kept waiting for our meals and were told 3 times that the kitchen was “bogged down” What does that mean…that you messed up our order? food took forever and then when it did arrive potatoes were cold The food was average certainly not worth the wait. Absent the great company I was with this dinner would have been a disaster."

"Seven of our family went for Easter brunch at 12:45. Buffet food was well done. Omelet station was well stocked but egg mixture was "watered" down. Very little egg in custom omelets, they were mainly heated up "add in" items. Memosa orange juice was pathetic! Fermented orange juice in a $10 drink was a real turn off. View of golf course was pretty. Service people were very attentive to our groups needs. Small dining area conducive to an intimate meal. We did not order any menu items."

"The food was excellent we had a wonderful experience and Steven the waiter was outstanding The only negative comment is when we first arrive three men were standing at the door the receptionist was on the phone and we're not it's not acknowledged approximately 3 or four minutes come to find out it was one of the owners other than that I would give it 5 stars. Very special and Romantic"

"Traditional Italian cuisine is alive and well in Farmington Hills, Mich. The owner and staff are warm and engaging, bending over backward to make you feel special. The decor is Italian opulent like the elegant days of Las Vegas. The traditional Italian dishes like veal piccata, filet with zip sauce, etc. melt in your mouth and the garlic is heaven."

"We had a great time at Steven Lilli's! The lamb chops were seasoned to perfection and so was the steak. Our server appeared to be waiting on our table alone so he was so attentive, personable and kind. The decor is quite interesting- a bit dark and reminiscent of the baroque period. The decor certainly gives you something to look at and discuss."

"I took my lady friend to Lelli's to celebrate her birthday. The food was great and the service was even greater. The experience was made special, because our waiter, Louis was exceptional.This a traditional Italian resturant, complete with romantic decor, valet parking and formally dressed waiter."
