"We had a window table with a fabulous view of Lake Ramsey. Our server was friendly and helpful. All of the dishes we had were very good. The root vegetable salad and the fresh fruit salad were tasty. Although this time we had lunch, we have gone for dinner in the past and thoroughly enjoyed it. The menu has a good variety and we love the location."

"I love the view and the location and the place has so much to offer. Sadly the food was very poor. We are going out to different restaurants every week and I would have loved the food to be good as I would love to say lets go back there, but we had a pizza and the topping was taste less and the rest was very "doughy" I had a salad and that was also not very good... The blueberry cheesecake was outstanding and the service was fantastic, but the food was really a HUGE let down.. The restaurant has everything a restaurant needs to make a huge success, sadly it is missing the most important element....great food :-("

"the bisque was lumpy because the roux was not properly mixed and they had no elk and kangeroo available, the server told us that they had had complaintes with the bisque earliar but still left it on the menu"

Our server was very nice (but not an experienced). She upsold the Pickerel and after 15 mins of ordering came back to the table to tell us that the restaurant was out of it. We then substituted for Catfish which took 1 hour to cook. We were a medium sized group (7 people)."

"The atmosphere was very warm and the waitress very attentive. I always enjoy the view. I would have liked something to accompany my soup, however. It stood alone and could have used a crostini to balance it out. Or, consider a soup and sandwich special - so the sandwich is almost a half portion of the regular option. The food, in and of itself was very good."

"Service was fair because our server was new and did not know different things that we would ask him about the menu but I'm sure he will get better with time and experience. It was good for me but not for my wife because she's fussy."

"The Calamari was grilled to perfection not over cooked and definitely not chewy at all a little char to give a great flavour, the chilli oil and citrus dressing give a unique taste.
The double boned pork chop was recommended by our server and she didn't disappoint beautifully griledl and the presentation was awesome.
The service was not rushed and gave us time to enjoy the delightful view over looking the lake.
We will be back for sure."

"It was a perfect setting to take our out of town guests and to show off a beautiful part of Sudbury. The menu was varied with choices not communally available such as the wild meats. The food was well presented and no one was disappointed."

"My Family and I went to curious thymes to enjoy an evening out. When we arrived, we were brought in to a rather cramped Table. Their was no one offering to take our coats or a place to put them. That was solved as we took them to a coat rack outside the restaurant. The service was terrible, the servers were obviously New and untrained. The orders we placed were slow to arrive. The food was ok. not exceptional. My young son ordered a hamburger And it arrived with nothing on it, plain in a bun. I've never seen that. Apparently, they had no cheese, pickles, mustard or any other topping available, we eventually negotiated some cheese slices. I would not recommend, overpriced, ok food, poor service. the view is very nice."

"Curious Thyme's Bistro features the best view in Greater Sudbury. From Science North, one overlooks Ramsey Lake. Whatever the season, it is gorgeous. The indoor setting is classy in all respects. The menu is varied and food delicious. Check the pricing on the day's specials. $15.00 for an appetizer salad could surprise you."

"Reserved in advance, our group enjoyed the ambiance at the restaurant. We were placed in a privite area and it was appreciated. I found the service to slow for my point of view, at some point I had to get up and serve myself some wine after it was left on the table for a good period. Althought my plate was ok (lack of taste in sauce) it was good but one of my fellow workers seem to have a steak that was well done and by her comments did not seem to like it to much."
