"My husband and I were celebrating our 15th Anniversary. I requested a patio table near the fireplace. The weather did not cooperate, but we were seated inside with a lovely patio view. Our serving team acknowledged our anniversary without prompting. That was a nice touch and showed that they really pay attention and remember information shared when you reserve a table online. Our meals were delicious-some of the best we've had. We were then presented with a complimentary dessert to share. We will definitely be back!"

"We had a wonderful meal again at Mr. B's. Clay is a fantastic server and we always ask for him.
We tried the special appetizer of flat-bread, goat cheese and caramelized onions, which we enjoyed. Split a spinach salad, perfect size. I ordered the steak sandwich that I could not finish. It was sliced NY Strip on a roll with onion strings, served with French fries. My husband had the rib-eye cooked to perfection. We ordered a 1/2 bottle of wine, Paradox. Excellent. Finished off with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream with hot fudge. It was not on the menu, but they were able to make it up special for us. We will be back."

"On 5/19/13 I took my two children, ages 20 and 16 out for dinner. There was adequate service, but we felt rushed & I didn't get the feeling the waiter took my children seriously. Towards the end of the meal, the waitstaff was talking about how they were going to divy up the work right in front our table. It didn't seem very professional to do so in front of customers. In addition, I specifically asked the waiter how to order the Porterhouse steak so that it wouldn't be too pink or not too well done. It was cooked all the way through and was slightly tough. Long story short, I will seek another restaurant for my next steak experience. I don't eat steak often so I was looking forward to this meal and truthfully was overall disappointed"

"Although we have been there before, this time was OK at best. The steak was not anything to brag about, the Lobster tail was tiny. In the past we have always enjoyed dinning there but this past weekend really turned us off. They only way I can justify the food we had was the $100 gift card we used and only had to pay $75 ourselves, which included a 20% tip. Can't say we will be back or recommend Mr. B's again. I was disappointed in the food :("

"Only 3 of us at a table for 4, but there wasn't enough room on the table for all the glasses & dishes & plates - it was a cluttered mess.
The mixed drinks were poured pretty lightly - and even more so on the 2nd round. The lobster was over cooked, & the grilled asparagus was so visibly charred I couldn't believe the waiter even delivered it.
The waiters were dismissive and trying to get someones, any ones attention was quite difficult. At one point two of us were waving our arms at a waiter who was starring right at us, but couldn't be bothered - perhaps because we were not his table.
The restaurant was very, very loud. Hard surfaces everywhere reflecting the noise.
The cost of dining here is too expensive for the mediocre experience."

"This was my first time here. It was our 25th wedding anniversary and when I asked around for a great place to dine, Mr B's came up several times. I thought it was great being shown the different cuts of meat. The two gentleman that took care of us (Brad & Jeff) were fantastic. They were on top of things and saw too our every needs. When we were finished, they brought us a fantastic cheese cake with a candle in it to celebrate the occasion and offered to take our picture. Great food, Great service Great restaurant."

"MY Mom, a steak lover, absolutely hated her steak and didn't tell me until we got home. I felt bad because of it being Mother's Day.
She brought it home and I have to say, she was right. Otherwise the side dishes were very good, but a little greasy as well.
The service was almost wonderful and the location is convenient. We are usually more that satisfied with our experience at your venues. This time I was a little embarrassed after talking it up with my Mom."

"The food & service was wonderful - Corey was awesome, but the tables are so close together that I could barely talk to my wife because all I could hear was the table next to me. Great food but I do not think we will be back - did not enjoy the ambience."

"This used to be my favorite restaurant before they moved to the new location. It was quiet and intimate, a perfect spot for a date or special occasion. Now it is loud and busy with employees running around everywhere. It seems like they employ groups of employees to just stand there and watch you eat. It's really a bit creepy. Also the food doesn't nearly seem to be as good as it used to be. It's a real shame the turn for the worse this once great restaurant has taken."

"We had reservations for a Friday evening at 7pm. Although the dining area was quite busy, we were sat at a table for two tucked in a very tight corner that was virtually shut off from the rest of the room! There was hardly room for my husband to sit comfortably, and I was "squooshed" against the wall. The service was excellent, however, and that made for an enjoyable evening. My husband and I both ordered the grain-fed beef, which, per our server's explanation, should have been the best of the best; it was quite gristly and difficult to eat, however, for both of us. Our server explained that that was a result of the "cooking process," which we didn't really buy. Overall, good service, but pricey overall considering the food and table."

"It's been awhile since I've been there. I ordered the rosemary potatoes and they were gross, they changed them and I wasn't expecting what they gave me. I ordered my steak medium well and there wasn't any medium to it, pure well! I don't like to send things back, so I eat it, it was ok, but that wasnt what I ordered! This was the first time I was disappointed! But I want to say I was the only one disappointed out of a party of 6! But service was great and we were celebrating a special occasion and they gave us free dessert-which was really nice of them!"

"Mr. B's staff really knows how to take care of it's customers even on the busiest of nights! We had a patys of 4 and part of a drink was spilled by us and the Bartender filled it back up at no charge. Then one of the fillets we had was not medium so they took it off the bill AND brought desert. This is Customer Service at it's best. The manager said their staff is here to correct any problems and WOW they DO IT!! Unlike Fleming's in Brookfield, Bartolotta's runs circles around them. I can't say enough But THANKS!"

"Amazing service, amazing food! My only complaint is the tables are VERY crammed together---so having a "private" talk with your significant other is hard. You can pretty much hear your neighbors entire conversation. They also push around a steak cart to show you the cuts of steak. It was rammed into my husbands elbow about 4 times--just because there was really no space for her to go with it."

"My wife Angie and I celebrated our 39th anniversary on the 20th of April, and were looking for a nice place to eat and reminisce. We had not had a quality steak in years, and we were getting jaded against all "steak" places. Mr. B's was recommended to us by our daughter and certainly renewed our faith in great steaks, service, ambiance, convenient location, close to home, etc, etc.
Our experience was fabulous. We could not stop saying how great the steak was and everything else about the evening. The complementary dessert was delicious and a nice touch. Very thoughtful.
Kudos to all. 10 out of 10. We can't wait until our next visit to Mr. B's

"I was not thrilled with the steak. For a $60 piece of meat I was expecting one of the better steaks I've ever had and we didn't get that. The steak was too tuff however it had good flavor. It wasn't great. Will go to capital grille next time ..."

"This was our first time to Mr. B's at this location.
We didn't realize it immediately, but we were seated in a very poor location, although there were many other tables available. We were stuck behind a large piece of furniture in a corner near the rest rooms. As that wasn't bad enough, we often had servers (& head waiter - the guy in dark suit) stand with their backs to us chatting, further isolating us from main dining room. We never had any contact with head waiter or restaurant management to inquire about our experience. It made me feel that they were hiding us from their more favored clientele."
