MANSURS on the BOULEVARD has been a Baton Rouge tradition for over 21 years. Our cuisine is true to Louisiana, and it is combined with a Contemporary French flare. We have a full service lounge area complete with a beautiful mahogany bar for more casual dining and a nightly pianist in the main dining area for a more intimate atmosphere. Our menu serves the largest selection of fresh fish in Baton Rouge, as well as delicious steaks, seafood & our acclaimed Duck Mansur. Local favorites are our famous Charbroiled Oysters, grilled before your eyes behind the bar, and our Cedar Roasted Redfish. Whether you are looking for the casual night out, an intimate dinner, or a formal/business private gathering, MANSURS on the BOULEVARD is the place for you. Contact us directly if you have any special requests or questions in general. Cheers!
"Everything I had for dinner was excellent. The crab Bre soup, warm crawfish salad & veal. Awesome! The butterfinger cream brûlée was just ok. It could of had more flavor. Kind of bland. A sugar free dessert for my hubby would of been nice, but no options."

"Our Father's Day experience at Mansurs On the Boulevard was delightful. The service was outstanding, and every effort was made to ensure our every need was met. The menu offered many delicious choices and was geared specifically to Father's Day. We loved it! The food was delicious - a party for the mouth. We enjoyed our experience very much!"

"What a surprise this place was. Chef did fantastic job with the red fish; wine list was great - good selection of Willamette Valley pinots; elegant, comfortable service. We were passing through to Texas and scouted Open Table for a nice meal and stumbled onto this impressive spot. If you know good food, wine and service, you will love it."

"Dinner for two with alcohol will run $100 easy. Food is great though. Live piano player is great ambiance enhancer. Would go back for a special meal."

"My book club met her for brunch. Our table was ready ahead of time. The staff was great. The food was great. The pianist was great. I was a little concern because we were seated right by the piano, but it was no problem. We were able to conduct the book review and with no interference from the music. Everyone enjoyed the food and agreed it was one of our better book reviews."

"We had a very nice corner table for three for lunch this week. The restaurant was quite busy, about three fourths occupied, but the noise level was still moderate, so we had no problem having a conversation with old ears. The service was very good and unobtrusive, and the food, as usual was very good. The warm crawfish salad in my go-to meal. Very nice lunch. Thanks Mansurs."

"I have been a frequent guest at Mansur's. And typically love the food and would give more stars but there were food misses this night. First, the good points. The smoke & fire martini is spectacular! The duck was wonderful and I appreciate its crispiness (you must ask for that). Here were the misses - the warm crawfish salad (which I love) had no warm crawfish but the salad was still good. The menu serves the risotto du jour with all entrees except pasta. Tonight's risotto was an awful gooey glob(Pepper jack cheese and spinach) and did not compliment the duck nor the softshell crab that we ordered. Plus the risotto was cold while my duck was warm. Stuffed soft shell crab was also considered a miss tonight."

"Visited Mansurs while traveling through Baton Rouge. As Louisiana natives, we had high expectations and those were met. The seafood (shrimp and crabmeat) crepes were outstanding (two of the three of us that had that dish thought that this was one of the best meals we had ever enjoyed together. The fouth dish, the Spinich Salad with lightly fried FRESH crawfish (and homemade honey-mustad dressing) was even better. We all tasted the crawfish from the salad, and agreed on the outsanding assessment. We will be back !"

"Environment is very nice, service was good food was fair. Disappointed in quality of food for dropping 200 dollars. Steak was very dry and over cooked with little flavor. Wife had fish that was good, but not what expected. Soup was great, nice wine list and great waiters. ."

"The service at this resteraunt was horrible . Server said that it was because it was the week of Valentine and they were busy. really ? This resteraunt is living off there past repertation but has gone down over the last several years. Now way over rated and costly for what they serve."

"Mansurs has excelled in providing quality service in all areas. The Wait-Staff truly represented what it means to be served. They were adamant and gave you the feeling that you were being treated like royalty. The head chef was accommodating with our main entrees, and even made a few suggestions. For instance, my wife tried their Duck, instead of having it baked, they fried it - the outer crispy layer was the best part! We were seated on the other side of the bar, in an alcove type area with only four tables. Being a couple, they actually sat us at a four person table which was nice since we often try all the courses at a new restaurant. Excellent wine list; however, the only downside was too much rice in their seafood gumbo - all rice."
