As our first location to open in the South, the Atlantic Station Rosa Mexicano combines Rosa’s trademark authentic Mexican cuisine and stylish, festive atmosphere with Atlanta’s southern hospitality to offer a unique dining experience. Inside, a dramatic 18-foot high water wall with miniature white Acapulco divers is the eye-catching centerpiece of the 200-seat restaurant, which also features a lounge area and private dining that accommodates up to 70 guests. With its bright colors, Mexican artwork and fabulous food, all are sure to enjoy the style and tastes that are solely Rosa Mexicano.
"Loved the fresh guacamole and chips served right at the start and the dinner and drinks were great. Atmosphere was relaxed and the service was very good. Took my wife for date-night and it was an excellent choice. Highly recommended and we'll be back soon!"

"My overall review would have been higher but there was a patron sitting behind us who was very loud and just would not stop talking. Kind of ruined the experience for us."

"Having no other Mexican option at Atlantic station, we decided to give Rosa Mexicano a try. I've been to a couple in NYC, but they were both 'just okay' experiences. This one was no different. One thing that this restaurant and the ones I've visited previously have in common are NYC prices. I ordered a margarita, and it came in a tiny cup...13 bucks. Guac table side...14 bucks, and it wasn't even good. We asked the server "where's the spice?" His reply was to bring us black pepper or extra salsa. C'mon man, if u are going to serve table side, do it right. If its not right, DO IT AGAIN. WAY overpriced for the sub par meal served. Service needs adjustment. Not sure how this restaurant survives. Extremely OVERRATED. We will never return."

"I would go back anytime for the quality of the food, and the authentic Mexican menu. This is not a Tex-Mex! The service however is variable depending how busy they are and who serves you. We had to ask for many things like tortillas, and jalapenos twice; our order was put it for one, vs. two. I think with a little improvement in service this is a great place to dine"

"Service was terrible. I was seated about 2:00 pm. Even though I was waiting for a friend to arrive, no one even bothered to come over to the table. I finally called over a bus boy around 2:20 pm to ask for some water. He then went to get a server to authorize giving me water. That server came over, ok'd the water and said that my server would be over soon. It was another 10 minutes before my server arrived. We ended up moving tables and were placed in another server's section. It wasn't much better. We had to ask several times for refills of chips, etc. I have been to Rosa Mexicano many times. This was by far the worst experience I have had there."

"Atlantic Station is a See & Be Seen place. I can't stand those types of Restaurants... I go to Rosa Mexicana because their food is at least artistic & has consistent flavors."

"We made reservations well in advance. We arrived 5 minutes before reservation time. We saw many open tables but was told we'd have to wait. We were seated 10 minutes after reservation time. Why make the reservation? My family was seated amongst lots of open tables. The menu had changed. Last time we were there it was a pleasant experience. This time we paid more than we should have for the portion size. Top 40 music played this time, not the Mexican music we've enjoyed all times before. Overall disappointment so we won't be going back."

"Rosa Mexicano is in a very appealing space and the people are very nice. But, the service is not very polished and the food is good -- if you stay with the old traditional standbys. It is great for a convenient lunch if you're already in Atlantic Station, but isn't exactly a destination if you're looking for a nice dinner."

"We always enjoy our visit to Rosa Mexicano. This is a Mexican restaurant that's a few steps up from the usual fare and atmosphere in most eateries of this type. It's always a joy to have the guacamole made right at the table to our liking. Great tequila menu, too. And the margaritas are something truly special."

"Not really paying attention to the date, we accidently happened to make reservations on Cinco de Mayo for 5:30 and though the place was very busy we were seated within minutes of our arrival. The drinks being offered were specials for that day, and mojitos were not on the list but, Melanie,, our waitress, was able to get them to make them. NICE!. The guacamole was superb as usual and the food was specatcular as always. Will return."

"Rosa Mexicano offers a step up from your average strip mall Mexican food. The dishes are well prepared and the service is excellent. However, from a value standpoint, they leave a lot to be desired. $14 for tableside guacamole that consists of a single avocado and $0.75 worth of additions doesn't pass my "giggle test". Our server seemed distressed that we declined his (repeated) offers of tabeleside guac. I had beef enchiladas and my son had chicken tacos. Our bill including tax and tip was $50. While we cannot complain about the food (nor would we rave about it), we will not be coming back as it is not worth the price they charge. There are equally as good but far less expensive competitors nearby."

"One of the better Rosa Mexicanos; Seated promptly for lunch; ordered the following: guacamole which was very good as usual; fish tacos were crisp, fresh, and tasty; steak fajita were perfect."

"I will admit I used to go to Rosa Mexicano more frequently than I do now, so when I saw the menu had changed and it wasn't as high end as I remembered, I was disappointed.
The two best things at Rosa Mexicano are the margaritas and the guacamole. Go for these two items alone."

"I took 2 friends to Rosa Mexicano last for their special Mexican Passover dinner. Neither of my companions had ever had a Passover dinner, so I was the "expert" at the table. Rosa Mexicano did a great job with their interpretations (the service was strong too, by the way). Their awesome Sangria Charoset cocktail, tropical charoset, kugel, and brisket/chicken sausage were amazing. The other dishes were good, with one exception: the matzoh ball soup. I guess I don't like the idea of messing with a perfect dish! That said, this was a fun way to eat an overall delicious meal with great company. I recommend it!"

"My wife & I took some friends that had not been to Rosa's since it first opened and they realized what they had been missing. The tableside guacamole is always a real treat and we are already making plans to return with our friends! Derrick was a real treat as our server and we'll be looking for him upon our return. Excellent experience."

"First time at Rosa Mexicana. The food was good but the prices were more then your average neighborhood Cantina Restaurant. The drinks were small but they had a kick to them. The service was excellent out server made suggestions that were right on."

"Portion size was a bit small for the prize tag, considering it's pretty standard Tex-Mex food. However, the food was quite good and the freshly made guacamole is a must have!"

"The guacamole was outstanding. It was made fresh in front of us. I liked they they would subsitute a salad at no charge for rice and beans. We had the white fish which was spicier than we would've liked. If it were cooked milder, it would've been excellent."

"I will not go back to this resturant. The server was terrible. I was out of my diet coke for about 15 minutes. He walked by many times and failed to ask if the food was good or if i needed a refill. My food was very cold. I did not complain due to it being valentines day. I once loved this place. The staff has changed and they look like they are just there for a pay check. Please Rosa Mexicano please hire new people and focus on how to provide customer service."

"My wife and I went to Rosa Mexicano for dinner on Valentine's Day, because their prix fixe menu for the night looked creative and delicious. I was nervous to go out and receive lackluster service on Valentine's Day, but I couldn't have been more satisfied with our meal and the service. The meal was as delicious as it looked on the menu. Rosa Mexicano is one of our favorites when Tex-Mex just doesn't cut it."
