"My husband and I met another couple at Rovezzi's for dinner and we all feel we made the right choice in dining destination. Our server was very pleasant, courteous and attentive. The food evoked compliments from all four of us. The ambiance in the restaurant is pleasant.
We did feel the noise level was a bit high, probably because our table was situated near the entertainment for the evening. Had we been seated upstairs, I'm sure this would not have been the case. Although we had to wait approximately 25 minutes -- even though we had reservations -- the evening experience was nice."

"My husband and I had never been to Rovessi's so we were a little nervous if we were going to be traveling for a restaurant that was just "okay". We were amazingly surprised. The service was outstanding. Our waiter took special care in explaining the menu as well as the background of the restaurant and its philosophy when we told him we had never been there before. Our dinners were to die for and very prompt in coming out of the kitchen. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. We haven't had an experience like this in a very long time. There is no question that we will go back."

"Rovezzi's is a great restaurant. The entire experience was amazing. We were greeted at the door with a smile, served with a smile and sent home with a smile. The restaurant was full to the brim but the waitstaff made you feel like you were the only one in the restaurant. They were also really helpful with picking out a dish. I have a shellfish allergy and was able to substitute the shrimp in my dish for chicken. I loved my food and the experience I had in the restaurant and will be visiting again!"

"This was my second visit to Rovezzi's. I loved it the first time and it did not disappoint on the second visit. I started with their deconstructed version of oysters Rockefeller. This was delicious, delicately fried oysters sitting on top of spinach sautéed with prosciutto, garlic and a spectacular sauce. For the main course I ordered the veal saltimbocca which was so tender and flavorful. I had ordered this the first time I visited and was so impressed I had to order it on the second visit. For dessert I ordered the crème brule..also fantastic. I will definitely visit again when I am in the area."

"I took my mom here for Mother's Day brunch, so I cannot speak to the regular menu or daily vibe of the place. The staff was extremely friendly and charming. Unfortunately, the food and ambience were underwhelming. We were seated in a very dark corner upstairs. The brunch foods were cooked well, but were not very interesting or particularly fresh. It was noisy and the flow of the buffet was awkward. I would not recommend this place on a holiday."

"I visited Rovezzi's on a Thursday evening fairly early so it wasn't too crowded. We chose the chef's three course menu and it was absolutely delicious. The bread was to die for too. My only complaint was our waitress. She was actually training so you think she's be on her A-game. Unfortunately, I feel that because we didn't order alcoholic beverages, we weren't big bucks to her, and so she didn't really seem to care to serve us. She did seem quite attentive to all of the other tables around us, but she would walk by us and not even look our way!"

"While the food was fantastic, our service on this visit was iffy at best. We sat for about 10 minutes before a waitress came over, and she never really recovered from that. We asked for an appetizer, but weren't heard. The waitress did try to make things right, but the service was sub-par. They weren't that swamped, but our waitress definitely had her hands full."

"As I said in my reservation it was our 36th Wedding Anniversary. Being seated at the table at the top of the stairs was very noisy and loud as there were two large groups on either side of us. I'm not against noise but there were other tables that I think might have been a little quieter as it was hard to talk. I also was surprised that the waiter was not informed ahead of time about the occasion. Other than the noise level the food was great."

"I took a beautiful girl named Debbie here on our first date. In a nutshell, my date was outstanding ... and so was my experience at Rovezzi's !!! Being of Italian descent, I basically have never left an Italian restaurant in my life satisfied. That can no longer be said. The Pappardelle Bolognese was to die for. And my fine date was very satisfied with her choice of the Salmone Arrosto. On top of that, the waitress (Laurrie I believe) made us feel like "family". Enough said. I was compelled to speak personally with the head honcho, Mr. Chris. I couldn't thank him enough. Give this place a shot .. you won't be disappointed. Tell 'em Tony D. sent ya !!!"

"Service was professional, yet friendly. Food was excellent! Warm bread for dipping to start with a spinach, goat cheese, pear, and roasted pistachio salad. Our two entrees; eggplant & chicken with ricotta & mozzarella cheeses over penne and a filet mignon special. Filet special was quite pricey in comparison to other menu entrees, but the flavor was outstanding and filet practically melted in your mouth. This was not my first visit, nor will it be my last."

"The food was good, the staff were really nice in general. I found the 2nd floor warm but we were able to open a window (Apr 2013) and I find it hit or miss as to whether they're able to deal easily with dietary restriction (gluten free), despite it being listed on the reservation. Once we managed to sort out an order, I had a very good and enjoyable dinner and evening."

"Our dinner at Rovezzi's was very good. The wait staff was courteous, professional, and had a very detailed knowledge of the specials, regular menu items, and the wine list. I had the braised short ribs special and they were amazing. My father had the osso bucco and thought it was possibly the best he's ever had.
My one complaint, and the only negative of our trip was the musical performer. There was a gentleman with an acoustic guitar playing through most of our dinner. It made it a little difficult to have conversations at times, and it didn't really provide the ambiance we were hoping for. Honestly, it was a little cheesy for our tastes."

"While we tend to go to Boston for dining out, Rovezzis is getting us to head west to Sturbridge instead. It is becoming one of our very favorite spots in the state, beating out some North End restaurants we love."

"The food was fantastic, it had great flavors and portion sizes. The only complaint I would have is the drink size for the price is not reasonable the drink prices for the glasses should be $5-6 instead of $8-9, especially considering the food is on the high side."

"The Easter Sunday Brunch was very good. The food choices were very good for me and everything I ate was delicious. My husband is on a gluten free diet and when I made the reservation through Open Table it did not mention that it would be a brunch buffet. The menu had only a few gluten free items and he was looking forward to trying their gluten free menu as they have several gluten free options on their dinner menu."

"We dine here often and honestly love the food and the ambiance. They have a wonderful singer performing live music on Saturday nights, and always have beautiful and delicious food on their ever changing menu. We usually have excellent service as well, but last evening we had a hard time getting our servers attention, we actually ordered drink refills through the person who cleared our empty appetizer dishes. We always try a dessert when we dine here, too, but we sat for so long after our dinner plates had been cleared with nothing to drink and no sign of Amy, our waitress, that we had plenty of time to decide where else to go for dessert. Still, though, the food was so delicious it made up for the poor service and we'll likely be back!"

"We had an amazing dining experience. They have very professional and welcoming wait staff. They don't have a kid's menu but bend over backwards to make either a smaller portion of something on the menu or as long as they have the ingredients anything off-menu. The food was perfect. Our family will be going back."

"We've been here a few times and although we hear people rave about it, we are not impressed. We ordered calamari, and it was tough and lumped together and soggy. They replaced it and the second batch was better bit still was chewy. My meal came a good 5 minutes before everyone elses, no reason was given. We feel there are too many other good places and so it will be a long time before we try this again."

"Rovezzi's is a neighborhood gem. The decor is warm and inviting and the food is outstanding.
On this visit I ordered the filet mignon, topped with goat cheese and mushrooms - it was perfection.
I ordered my steak rare, with a warm red center rather than a cold red center - this is difficult to achieve and they nailed it completely! Truly one of the best steaks I have ever had. Additionally you would be hard pressed to find a friendlier wait staff, thank you. A big recommend."
