"Although they lost my reservation (which ended up being ok as we were there at an off hour) and forgot one of our food requests, they were very nice about it. They gave us some free edamame to snack on while we waited for the missing item. The food was good and the tea was excellent."

"Great tea, but the food was the surprise. We really enjoyed our lunch, which was a special occasion date for us. The ambience is lovely and the service was excellent. A strong positive recommendation."

"Service staff brought all dishes at once. So you need to specify that you want appetizers brought first. Table next to us mentioned this - and we should have heeded their advice. Otherwise, good find near City Center/Carnegie Hall."

"A nice little spot across the street from City Center. The night we were there, it seemed like they got a lot of regulars, which is always a good sign. The food was good, and the tea list was long and pricey. I know everyone else likes it as a "spot of calm", but honestly, I wish it had been a bit noisier. The tables were close together and with little background noise, conversations were easily listenable."
