"Our service wasn't great since our waiter seemed very unfamiliar with the foods and wines.
Wines? "We have red and white. Which do you want?" Hmmm.
But the youngest helper for our table was the water guy and he was exceptional, pleasant and unobtrusive. He could teach some of the waiters."

"A Ruined Family Easter Dinner: we were 2nd group seated at 4 PM. We waited so long in between courses that we wanted to leave. We had to ask other staff to find our waitress and this was before it became crowded. We spent 2 and 1/2 hours there. She did't even come back to give us the check; on appearing she said: "I don't suppose you want dessert do you?" We were the only African American family there; I wonder! This is my fav restaurant...we have been there several times and well treated...food scrumptious; this time it was luke-warm. If I had wanted it re-heated I would not have found the waitress.
I will return because I love the food. Hope the manager takes care of this problem."

"The service was absolutely terrible. We saw our waitress once and only after asking the bus person to find her for us. Even though unlimited drinks were encluded in the price we paid, we only had one drink each because we could not get any service. Even when we asked the bus person for our check it took over twenty minutes before the waitress reappared to give it to us. By then we had arisen from our seats and I asked to speak with the owner. I told him about the awful service and his response was "oh well, we are busy, here's your check." and he walked away. We will never return to this restaurant and will tell our friends and family not to patronize this establishment."

"Enjoyed our Valentine's Day dinner. Food was very good and they honored my husband's request for changes to his order. Our waitress was very pleasant and made sure everything was to our liking several times, but she did not hover or intrude. One of our favorite restaurants for many years."

"We always go to Cafe LaFontana for special occasions. We went for Valentines day and every New Years Eve. They have great garlic knots and bread. The food is always consistently good. We like going New Year's Eve because they do not raise their prices for the holiday."
