"We went to sorrelina for our anniversary dinner. We've been before but it's pretty pricey so we only go for special occasions. It's amazing from the food to the great service. Everything was perfect!! I would highly recommend to anyone as a special night out."

"The restaurant was a beautiful scene with trendy furniture and perfect late night dining. The service did not miss a beat and the food equally excellent. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a nice high end dining experience but would rather an energetic scene to the quiet official dinner."

"Appetizers were fabulous and so was the wine. But for a $500 dinner for 3, my rib eye steak could have been a lot better. The rib eye was very thin and way overcooked the medium rare I ordered.

I would have sent it back, but was with two business guests from Japan and it would have been awkward to have them wait to eat their food"

"I stay regularly at the Westin Copley and this was my first dinner across the street at Sorellina. My wife and I had a memorable dinner. Our server was excellent, and the entrees were superb. The Lobster Gnocchi and Veal Saltimbocca were will be revisited on our next trip to boston."

"My wife and I went to Sorellina's to celebrate our 32nd anniversary. We had a drink at the bar while waiting for our table to be prepared and enjoyed a glass of Banfi chianti; a favorite of my wife and I. She had a cosmo and said it was delightful. Shortly after we received our drinks, we were notified that our table was ready. The barmaid went out of her way to tell us we need not rush to our table and that we could stay at the bar until our drinks were consumed if we so desired. The restaurant was very crowded, but once we sat at our table, our waiter appeared and we were on our way to a marvelous meal and enjoyed incredible service from the wait staff throughout the evening."

"My first experience was excellent. I loved the food and any questions we had about the food the waiter was always there to answer. Will definitely be back. Only issue with is that the building is hidden so it was difficult to find."

"Such a wonderful restaurant in the heart of a ci\ty filled with them. From the hostess and bar staff to the fantastic waitress we had, this experience went above and beyond my expectations. The atmosphere and layout of the restaurant was very enticing and the food was beyond delicious, appetizer all the way through dessert. I truly hope to return to Boston very soon and will always return here for dinner."

"Some of the dishes were beyond delicious and creative; others just wonderful. The raw tuna appetizer had exquisite flavors, the gnocchi are the best and tenderest in town, the molten chocolate cake left us reeling. These were the highest spots for the four of us.We all agreed this was the best meal we have had in a long time."

"We had a special occasion dinner planned at Sorellina's. The night started off in the wrong foot when we had to wait 35 minutes past our reservation time for our table. Our group of 7 had grandparents and children in it and it was getting late. We were all grumpy. The restaurant did a great job in winning us back. The service was perfect. The food was outstanding. A bottle of wine was discounted from the bill, they sent us a free taster's size appetizer and sent us something sweet at the end. We also got numerous visits from the manager, hostess and even the chef to make sure everything was perfect. In short, we felt that they went the extra mile to win us back and they did! Bravo, Sorellina!"

"Went to have a romantic dinner before going away on a trip and it was perfect. The food was absolutely the best and our waiter was patient as we tried to figure out what to get. Polpo salad was a decadent treat - spicy though. Lobster gnocchi was out of this world and the lamb was the best I have ever had. This is a perfect experience for a special occasion or romantic night out!"

"Though I was excited to try Sorellina, it was unfortunately disappointing. Service was fine, though instead of the feeling of fine dining, there was an air of pretentiousness. The bread and chocolate truffle at the end were lovely. Otherwise, the food was poor- drenched in salt and not at all what you would expect given the prices and overall reputation. My friend and I had entirely different meals, both very salty. I do not recommend this restaurant. Within that price range, there are many other excellent restaurants to choose from."

"I took a colleague from Singapore out to Sorellina for an early dinner on a Monday night. We were given a nice table and had excellent service. We wanted to have a quick dinner rather than linger like I would if I had been with my spouse or good friends. The service was attentive and we had a lovely meal in 1 hour and 45 minutes. Was able to make my train home and the restaurant kindly offered car service and took him back to his hotel. My husband and I have enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and the bar and had delightful experiences where we lingered in both spots. It is nice that this can be a fine dining establishment that adjusts its service according to the needs of the patrons. Food is always excellent!"

"Came here with my family from Philadelphia for my graduation dinner from BC this weekend and had one of the best meals of my life. We all tried each others' food and couldn't find a thing wrong with any of it. Our server was wonderful, very well-informed and thoughtful. Highlights: salmon tartare with caviar (a special appetizer that day), lobster gnocchi, and veal saltimbocca."

"To begin, the food was absolutely outstanding. I started with a smaller portion of the Maccheroncelli with Wagyu beef meatballs. For the first time, my boyfriend announced that although his oysters were perfect, he should have ordered what I ordered! Everything we ate had outstanding flavor, was cooked to perfection, and was beautifully portioned. The kitchen staff even wrote "Happy Anniversary" in chocolate on our dessert plates (I had made note of the occasion in our Open Table reservation). Perhaps even better than the food, though, was the service. Our waiter Kirk was polite and professional, welcomed our questions about the menus, and offered excellent suggestions. For a lovely and delicious evening, I highly recommend Sorellina."

"Dinners were presented with style and absolutely delicious. The filet mignon was one of the best I have ever had. Everyone in our party raved about the food and we had a variety of dishes; besides the filet we tried chicken, gnocchi and veal. All were superb. Wine was also excellent."

"Sorellina was amazing. Definitely a place for a special occasion as it is an expensive place. However, I can honestly say that it was worth every penny. Generally a lot of higher tiered restaurants boost high prices and good or average food. This was not the case with Sorellina. The food was AMAZING. We went her to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and we had the Wagyu meatballs as an appetizer, the lobster gnocchi and scallops as our entrees, and we split the molten lava cake for dessert. We also tried many different cocktails. You MUST try to Wagyu meatballs- both the lobster gnocchi and scallops were delicious, but the lobster gnocchi was better. The best cocktail was the White Pearl, so start off with that!"

"What a complete treasure!!
I came in with four other girls for a birthday and we could not have been happier! The food was stunning, the wine was delicious and our server was very hospitable. We started with salads, tuna tartar and the amazing oysters. There's this lime ice component with the oysters that can't be forgotten!
I enjoyed the halibut, several girls ordered the lamb, etc. What great food! They brought out a delightful dessert with a Happy Birthday chocolate sign drizzled around the edge. Thank you so so much for making our lady feel special!"

"The food was delicious in buttery way. The tables are a good distance apart so it has an intimate atmosphere. The waitress was overly optimistic about how much we could eat. We (3 girls) had starter, entree and dessert (entree main dessert for any other Australians out there) but would have been better off having the starter size entrees."

"My husband had gone to Sorellina before and had said it was good, but what I found was really surprising: gorgeous place, the most attentive service and the good was superb! Our group was big so we tried many different things: all the pasta plates were perfectly "al dente" with well prepared sauces, combined with truffles, or exquisite meat balls, sea food..... The veal, prepared as "milanesa" was indeed tasty and a gem to see. We closed with chocolate fondant and a plate of tiny donuts that were out of this world.

All I have let to say is that I fully recommend SORELLINA."

"This is one of the best dining experiences I've had in Boston and I am local. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful.
The eggplant appetizer was out of this world and the pasta dishes were exceptional. I can't wait to go back. Honestly, I cook and am very fussy about what I eat. This is one of the few places that I can't wait to return to. Beautiful décor!"

"For our second last night in Boston my husband and I chose to dine at Sorellina, and we were delighted with this lovely restaurant. The service was both very professional and friendly. For starters we chose pasta with lamb ragu and tuna tartare. Mains were the halibut and salmon. All were delicious. We could not resist the tiramisu on the dessert menu and it did not disappoint. We had a superb wine from the Napa Valley to complement our meal.The lighting and vibe of this restaurant complements the good food and impeccable service. I highly recommend to anyone looking for an enjoyable evening of good food in pleasant surroundings."

"This place is really beautiful, in fact my friend said it was just like the Encore hotel/resort in Las Vegas, one of my favorite places in the world. The food was subtle and fantastic, nothing overdone and presented well. Also, the service, from the front door to the servers and bussers was really great. Everyone was attentive and courteous, without being imposing, which can be a tricky thing to do."

"We looked forward to this evening after reading many positive reviews of this restaurant. Unfortunately, they did not live up to what we read. Of the four dishes that we ordered, two were excellent and two were rather pedestrian, and the portions of three out of the four can only be described as meager. We dine frequently at other restaurants that charge the exorbitant prices that they charge here, but most of this ilk deliver a much better dining experience than Sorellina. There are better places in Boston to dine. Don't waste your money here."
