"We had a party of seven and the service was so good in the beginning and then after the appetizer it was all downhill. The sides were cold and we waited a very long time for refills. I ordered a glass of wine with my meal and it was brought out after we were completely finished with dinner, they did take it off the bill. No excuse for a restaraunt of this caliber."

"Wine list too much. I don't want to look through FOUR pages of cab's at dinner. That's what a wine store is for. Give a few top picks or recommendations...something. My husbands steak was the best he's ever tasted. But...my fish tasted grease soaked, and the veggies were small, soggy, and, well, just not good. Service was amazing but I was overall very disappointed, especially given the price and reputation."

"We truly enjoyed our meal at the Ranch (and always do). Our server, Robin, was excellent! The Bone-in Filet and Ribeye topped with fois gras was amazing. I especially enjoyed the wine Robin picked -Chateau La Hase. We only dine at the Ranch for special occasions and we are always treated very well. Never a complaint about food or service. We did request to be moved away from a large party with children-one squealing child in particular (why parents? why? and yes, I have children, too, never let them scream at a restaurant), but the was no further issue with the noise. I'm also happy to see the Ranch is now open on Sundays. Although we only frequent the Ranch 2-3 times a year, we are always welcomed back like we are regulars."

"The food is always wonderful. I ordered my filet medium rare and had to send it back to be cooked more. Next time, I will order it medium. We were there for over 2 hours, which I feel is too long. For a Monday night it was very busy, and it was too noisy for me. I do think that the sodas were refilled too often for the 15 year old that was at our table."

"I enjoyed the food but for my taste it was overpriced!!! For a $30 steak you should get more than a 10 oz steak. $10 for a bake potato is a little and they have added you can have on your entree ( some at a pretty hefty price ). I feel if your going to pay that much for a steak if you want anything added to the entree you should get whatever the heck you want. $8-10 for a glass of wine & you get about 6-8 oz a glass is a little much. But I figure I only live once & it was my wedding anniversary. But I probably would not go back anytime soon. My income would have to double for me to expirence this place on a regular basis."

"After reading the reviews I was eager try try the Ranch Steakhouse for my son's 20th birthday. Unfortunately, the overall experience was far from special. Let's start with the service; I felt I was being"sold" all evening with untimely visits to the table and too much of the wrong conversation. In addition I felt mildly rushed throughout dinner, no time to savor anything (not that anything was worth savoring). As for the food, the filets ordered by my wife and boys got OK reports but my ribeye was bland and physically unappealing. The sides (mushrooms, green beans, mac-n-cheese, and steak fries) we're ok but not in the least memorable. This was our first and last visit to The Ranch Steakhouse."

"While the quality of their steaks is high, the prices were unexpectedly high for the quality we perceived. Prices are art gallery style; no dollar signs or decimals on the menu. If you have a fondness for Australian wagyu beef (fortunately we don't), be prepared to spend $10 to $15 per ounce with a 10-ounce minimum. We had an excellent off-menu appetizer of one half pound of battered fried rock shrimp on field greens topped with an Asian-inspired peach-coconut-peanut spicy sauce that was to die "of" rather than "for"— because you could eat way more than would be good for you! All-in-all a good place for, oh, say a 36th wedding anniversary."

"While the food was good, I just don't enjoy restaurants that are so dark that it's difficult to read a menu. Also, don't enjoy family-style sides because we don't choose the same foods, therefore ending up ordering too much. It was a good steak, but don't think I'll go back anytime soon."

"Nothing like the Ranch, the food is always good and the staff are wonderful. Best part is sitting by the outside fire either before or after dinner or both. If you have never been, you are really missing out on great food, fun and service."

"Have eaten there many times before, however this time I had the WORST $65 steak I have sunk my teeth in. It was markedly overlooked, as well as unseasoned, and was like eating cardboard. The other steaks were cooked correctly, with the only other issue being a rather tough Aged ribeye. All in all, it was a sad way to spend a birthday"

"The meal was great,thoroughly enjoyed the filet and strip steak. The sides are served family style and there is plenty for two to share. Service was slow, may that is supposed to make it romantic. The place was not busy and appeared to be fully staffed. The wait staff was all right, but seemed to avoid working support for any table not on the main walkway around the room. They did comp our dessert for our anniversary. Maybe we'll get a better table next go around."

"Very quiet atmosphere...allowed for good conversation without overhearing everyone else in the room. The service was outstanding...server was knowledgeable of the menu and offered good suggestions (this was our first visit); especially an alternative method of cooking my steak which turned to one of the best steaks I've had in years. My spouse felt the salmon she ordered was good but nothing over the top. Overall, it was a great dinner to celebrate our anniversary!!!"

"Everything top drawer, with one area of improvement...let folks in from waiting area, especially if seating is inadequate and temp outside extreme! If Ranch would be ready to seat their 5:30 guests a few minutes early, there would be less agitation in the lobby area."
