"Hatcho has the freshest sashimi I have ever eaten in California. Tryout the tempura sea urchin. It's magnificent! The food is comparable to the cuisine that you would have in a Japanese inn in japan."

"I went to this restaurant because I want toro sushi. The restaurant does has very good toro sushi. This is the only food is good. The rest is not good. Service was very poor. When I told the waitress that I want toro sushi, she said someone has to take my order. I waited over 20 minutes for another waitress to take the toro sushi order. I told her I would like toro sushi and don't want spicy dish. she recommended a very spicy tofu dish. That was terrible. I did not eat it at all. My boyfriend packed the dish for the dogs. Also, after they served the food. No server has stop by to check on you - for water or tea. I waited so long for the bill, my boy friend and I walk up to the front desk and ask for it."

"Overall it's very good, food is delicious. It's a small family style restaurant packed with customers. The decoration isn't super fancy, but the food is comparable to more upper-scale restaurants."
