Bistro 41
Located in the Bell Tower Shops featuring an array of quaint specialty storefronts, adjacent to the Bell Tower Cinema and just a short drive from the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Theatre. As a sponsor of the MLB Spring Training season we are close to both stadiums as well as the Southwest Florida International Airport, making the Bistro 41 perfectly situated near the best Ft. Myers has to offer.

Much has changed since 1997 and we've seen friends come and go. Thanks to our loyal following, we're still here, still striving to exceed expectations with consistent, culinary cuisine and accommodating professional service.

"This is a very nice restaurant - nicely decorated, well appointed, with tables not crowded in. However, our recent experience was not good. The food left a lot to be desired. I had caesar salad that had very little dressing. Then I had chicken that was over cooked. The service was fair but the waitress was not very pleasant. I had asked for anchovies on my salad, but when it came there were no anchoivies. I ask the waitress and she haughtly said you didn't get them because you didn't ask for anchoivies. I would not rush back to this place."

"We arrived at 3:15 pm and sat at a high-top table in the bar area so our husbands could watch the Masters Championship. Our bartender, Don, was very friendly and recommended that we take advantage of the Happy Hour specials, which included 1/2 price appetizers, any of the wines by the glass, beers and many of their cocktails! He suggested a couple of his favorite appetizers, The Asian Calamari and Vegetable Spring rolls, which were delicious. We loved the Happy hour!(and saved quite a bit of money!).
After a little while we decided to dine on the patio. Our server, Haley, did a great job providing us attentive service and our dinner was superb! We will be back. Our compliments to the entire staff. Love Bistro 41"

"What was simply an identical order for 2 that included crab cake, spinach salad and scallops the server failed to bring out a second plate and eating utensils until 10 minutes after being served. By then things were cool down. The food was OK or average at best and the bill for the small portions was insane."

"Took Mother there for Easter dinner as we've dined there before, and know what to expect. They offered a nice special menu for the Holiday with many options. We both had the Chipotle crusted prime rib, with more than enough to take the rest home. Cooked to order, served with mashed sweet potatoes, and asparagus just the way it should be prepared. "I booked for Easter on Mar. 8,2013 and specifically requested a round table for 8 and said this was a priority. Fine.The next day I called the restaurant and changed my request under my previous reservation to 10 and again stressed the round table. They told me, "Fine." I called and confirmed my round table of 10 a week before Easter. They again replied, "Fine." On Easter morning I received a call from the restaurant personnel asking if my party of 10 would still be arriving at 5:30 pm. I replied we would be there and again I said this is for a round table. Their reply, "Yes." When we arrived for dinner we were informed there were never any tables that held 10 people only one round table that held 8. Needless to say, I was extremely annoy"

"We arrived at 5:30 pm and was seated immediately. Our server was very helpful in describing the various selections and how they were prepared. He recommended the Flat Iron Steak with roasted herbed greek potatoes and grilled asparagus. Three of us ordered the flat iron steak and a bottle of wine ($60.00) The steak was good, however, the potatoes were cold and hard as well as were the asparagus.
We probably won't be eating at Bistro 41 and for $200.00 plus dinner bill I would recommended another restaurant."

"The menu offered a welcome variety. We had 3 different dishes for the 4 of us and everyone was pleased not only with the preparation, but the taste and portion size.

"We took advantage of the 41 Special which includes 2 salads, 2 entrees (limited to a few items to choose from), 2 desserts and a bottle of wine to share. As for the salad, you can choose a mixed green salad or a caesar salad. We had one of each so I can tell you they were both very good. The wine was Salmon Creek from California and it was fine for an included bottle. You can choose Chardonnay or Cab. Sauv. - or you can upgrade to Blanc, etc. for a fee. We decided to go with the Chardonnay. I ordered the pasta with chicken dish and the chicken was dry. My husband ordered the crab cake. Note - the portions on the entree are very small but I am on Weight Watchers and it was plenty for me. In conclusion, food was fine - price was good."

"We arrived at 6:30 for 6:45 reservation made through Open Table and the restaurant had no record of our reservation. I provided our confirmation number and they had no use for the reservation. We ended up waiting roughly 1.5 hours to finally sit at a small table with too much foot traffic. I felt badly for the hostess, but she was in over her head and could do nothing really to help us.Other than that, the food was great and price matched quality. Our server was great but was too busy as this was the high season in Fort Myers. I would go back, but probably not make the reservation through open table."

"Always have a great time at Bistro41 .. excellent food and service ... Unique dishes - preparation is excellent. Service was a bit slow this visit and although all food was excellent ... salmon, grilled chicken salad and a wheat pasta dish with garlic, oil, peppers, etc .. it was outstanding - BUT is was an embarrassingly small portion. I ordered a complete 2nd meal and I do not eat much. I asked if by chance I ordered a half portion .. waiter said no . that is a full portion .. I usually take half of a pasta order home .. that is the only complaint ... all else outstanding."

"The food tasted good but the servings were odd - very large 'side' salad, and very small half plate. I highly recommend the pork pot roast - it was really delicious!"

"It was OK. I wanted something special for our 38th anniversary lunch. This wasn't it. I tried to let the hostess know that it was our anniversary and wanted something special, but it was difficult to even get her attention to tell her we had reservations. The waitress spilled coffee on my wife's purse. No desert was offered. It wasn't worth the money."

"We were seated outside with only plastic curtains to stop the cold. We waited for the help to come for our order for 25 min. and then got up and asked to be seated inside and someone to take our beverage order. Then we waited even longer to be served. My friend got up and complained and we could then order our food. Was not a pleasant experience as it was the first time my friend had been to the restaurant."

"This restaurant is located in a mall setting, so we expected ordinary food .
What we got was a pleasant surprise! Our party of 9 was very pleased!
Our entrees were not only delicious but looked like artistry on a plate !

"Food was priced high and only mediocre. We ate outside in the enclosed area. It was very drab, with no ambiance, Dull white and brown, all the chairs back ties were ripped.
We had a certificate we used. There was an extra $5 on it and we wanted to leave it our waitress as she was very good, but we were informed we couldn't leave those funds for her. We will not go back, so it was ashame it goes to the restaurant and not here"

"My husband and I went early on a weeknight prior to attending a concert nearby. There were a few diners already there, many of whom were enjoying sitting outside. Within 30 minutes of our being seated,the place was packed and noisy. Tables were right on top of each other, the crowd was older and talked loudly (i.e., old, Northerners). The food was good, although our waiter/s were not very attentive; we had the special which included salads, entrees, desserts & a bottle of wine for $41. I would try going again, but later in the evening---these old folks eat early---and probably wait until mid-spring when the "season" ends."
