The Prime Rib Loft is primed for hearty appetites! Overlooking the bustling casino action, it is definitely "Fine dining at its Prime!" The restaurant's comfortable and attractive ambiance combines with its reasonably priced, superb menu to make this specialty dining room a must during every visit to The Orleans. True to its name, the Prime Rib Loft is famous for its delectable cuts of 21-day dry-aged prime rib - the Orleans, English Cut, Cajun Style and the Real Beefeater Cut (an extra thick double cut with bone)- all specially selected and dry aged to ensure tenderness, then seasoned and slowly roasted for incredible flavor. "My husband and I both enjoyed my birthday dinner so much! We've eaten here before and were so pleased that the food is still as good as ever. My husband had the 14 oz cut prime rib and I had the special -- Salmon stuffed with crabmeat and shrimp. MMMMMMMMMM... oth were delicious! Their prime rib is extraordinary! ...and the chef got the perfect medium-rare doneness. I heartily recommend this restaurant to anyone in Vegas...or on their way through. It is off the strip at the Orleans so it's easy to park and go in for dinner and/or gambling. Wonderful!"

"This was our first visit and it did not disappoint.
We both had the tomato and pesto soup which was delicious. For the first time ever I asked if we could do a split plate as I wasn't very hungry and this wasn't a problem. We shared the 24oz bone-in rib eye which was cooked rare as requested and was very good as were the sides.
The seasonal berries dessert was big enough for two to share and consisted of berries, pound cake, a praline basket and ice cream.
We had a bottle of wine as the starting price for wine is probably the cheapest I have seen in Vegas. I have paid the same for a glass elsewhere as a bottle was here.
Service was very good despite the restaurant being busy for Mother's Day.
I would certainly return."

"The restaurant is located upstairs inside the casino lobby. The food is reasonably priced. The service was great. The prime rib was great. Customers were given a choice of baked potato or garlic mashed potatoes. I ordered the mash potatoes which tasted awful. The mashed potatoes seem to have a "processed" taste. The same instant dry mashed potatoes that you can buy at the supermarket. Also there seemed to be too much garlic in the potatoes. I certainly will eat here again, but next time I will get a baked potato instead."

"Our reservation was easy and fast online via phone! When we got there I was greeted by name and seated immediately. We are seniors and usually split meals. There was no question or problem doing this. We had Tempura Vegetables/appetizer and the Prime Rib Special. Dinner came with a wonderful salad and HUGE baked potato that was 'dressed' table side with your choice of toppings. The food was delicious, and the wait staff made sure our water glasses were always full. The tablecloths, silver, and glassware made it feel very special. We were too full to try dessert :( One of our favorite "Hidden Gems" !!"

"This was our second trip to The prime Rib Loft. The first time we had melt in your mouth prime rib and it was the reason we came back. I am sorry to say that this time around the meat was tough and very unpleasant. I also requested a slice of cake for my wife's birthday. We had our meal and they brought the bill. The waiter obviously forgot about it. I mentioned it to the hostess on the way out. " I guess my wife won't be getting her cake." Oh so sorry sir wait right there. Ya, too late. We won't be back."

"Would've scored higher had the horseradish/sour cream sauce been less "hot". Even after mixing the horseradish into the sour cream thoroughly, the sauce was soooo powerful, it burned the palate and sinuses like no other. I mentioned this to the hostess as we were leaving, but she said that in the 7 years that she worked at The Rib Loft, no one has ever made a similar comment. My husband and I love spicy foods, but this was over the top; can't believe no one else has found this sauce practically inedible. The alternative would be to serve more au jus on the side."

"The last time we dined at the Prime Rib Loft was in 2009. We loved it then, and we loved it again this last time. 3 of us ordered the NY Strip, and 1 ordered the prime rib sliders. My steak was cooked to perfection and was juicy and tasty for every bite. Our guests felt the same about their meals. Our service was impeccable. For just about $100, 4 of us ate like kings. If you have never tried the Prime Rib Loft at the Orleans, I highly recommend it."

"First time at The Loft, the food was good. I ordered the Prime Rib; it was cooked to temperature correctly and very tender. The sides were good as well, I will say nothing was amazing though. Overall the meal was good for the price which in my opinion is very moderate and a good value. The service was a bit lack luster, everyone was cordial and competent but there was no wow factor, the wait assistant was a bit clumsy. The waitstaff does not seem very well trained. They seem to be going for a white linen service type but would with the caliber of waitstaff would be better suited to relax that to a more casual atmosphere. I will go back but it was not what I was expecting. I would take a date for dinner but not a special occasion."

"My wife and I have eaten at the Loft quite a few times and it was usually very good. On Wed. we celebrated my birthday there and I was very disappointed. The $12.95 shrimp were on the small side and one of them was very chewy. I was able to eat only the small side of my $29.00 T-bone steak. Unfortunately, I had to spit out 75% of the steak because it was on the tough side and fatty. The salad and the buttered baked potato were excellent. The 1000 Island dressing and the shrimp sauce were very good,

"OUR FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. MY HUSBAND HAD PRIME RIB AND I HAD SCAMPI. THE SERVER WAS INVISIBLE. OUR RESERVATION WAS FOR 5:30, EARLY, VERY FEW TABLES IN USE. OUR SERVER ONLY HAD ONE OTHER TABLE AS FAR AS WE COULD TELL, BUT WE WAITED 25 MINUTES FOR THE ORDER TO EVEN BE TAKEN. MY HUSBAND ORDERED WINE, AND IT WAS ANOTHER 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE WINE ARRIVED. WE WERE 2/3 THRU OUR MEAL, AND NO OFFER OF ANOTHER GLASS OF WINE WAS MADE. WE FLAGGED DOWN A BUSSER, TO LOCATE OUR SERVER, TO GET A SECOND GLASS OF WINE. THE RESTAURANT IS QUIET, PLENTY OF ROOM BETWEEN TABLES, GREAT FOOD CHOICES. I MISS THE EXCELLENT SOURDOUGH BREAD THEY USED TO SERVE. THE ROLLS NOW ARE "ROADHOUSE GRILL" TYPE. THE RIB LOFT IS THE BEST FOOD EXPERIENCE AT THE ORLEANS."

"The Manager was friendly, nice and accomidating when I asked to add 2 more people to our reservation.
I had the Gorgonzola Smoked Chicken Pasta. The dish was flavorful, the broccoli was cooked just right. My husband had a steak and ate every bit of it.
Our overall experience was very good. The staff is very friendly and attended to all of our needs. The food and service was good. I would dine there again."

"I saw the previous reviews but I'm always trying to be the optimistic one when it comes to places with "Prime Rib" in their titles. Unfortunately most of the reviewers were correct. The appetizer (mushroom crabcakes) was mediocre at best and the prime rib (Gambler's Cut) was cooked incorrectly (requested medium rare and received rare).
Service was very rushed. One of the servers tried taking away a plate while I was placing food in my mouth from it.
Ambiance was very dim lit and relaxing.... And that's about it.
I'll just keep my high standards from the "House of Prime Rib" from my native area. Nice try Prime Rib Loft."

"We have eaten here many times and really looked forward to the evening.when we arrived we were told to come back because we were 20 minutes early.when we asked for a table that over looked the casino it seem like a big problem.the prime rib seems to have lost its quality we expected.last visit salad was larger and came on a cart with ground pepper etc.overall the prime rib loft has lost its mojo."

"Both men in our party ordered the prime rib, and both were satisfied with the taste/quality. We two women ordered the pasta with gorgonzola...not okay, however! I've decided the kitchen plated the food without noticing the lack of sauce on the dish, so the pasta was dry, with little flavor."

"Food was very Good but the Server was not very attentive. I ordered a Double Shot of Johnny Walker Scotch and He Brought a Single Shot, This was the second time I had trouble with Your Bar and Drink's. The Little Woman ordered coffee and the meal was half done when He finally came with it, and for the price I would think a person could get a refill with out asking The Bus Boy for a Refill.. A nice place to go for Dinner but I Think You need to Work on The Service & Bartender's Attitude."
