"If you are looking for good Italian food, this is not the place. I had high hopes for this place as I had brunch here with friends and the food and service was good. It just did not go right from the time of our arrival, the person had to have been told twice to ensure my open table reservation was given credit and the pasta was not al dente at all. I was expecting more . The server was not very attentive or listening very well as he did not listen that I only wanted one entree to share and not two different kinds. I am not going back here anymore."

"I've been to BRIO 4 or 5 times, and will be back. The food is delicious, authentic Italian, the wine list offers wonderful variety, and the service is always excellent. I always seem to end up choosing the risotto because they do it so well! With the floor to ceiling windows and the candelit ambiance it is always a lovely NY dining experience."

"Friendly service, nice to sit outside. Inside was a little stuffy and dark, which is why we moved outside. Good food. The nutella crepe was okay, very sweet, and though the menu said it comes with "strawberries" there was only 1 sliced up strawberry that looked like a garnish. very nice inside, and cool bathrooms. would go back."

"Food was great. Service was a little slow and unorganized. We had to consistently ask for things that we ordered. The ambiance of the place was nice and we got a table next to the window. My mother enjoyed the restaurant."

"I am VERY disappointed with my experience at Brio. All of the staff was incredibly rude and it was obvious they wanted us to finish up and be out of there as soon as possible to make way for potentially new people. We found this odd considering almost all of the table were empty on a Saturday at dinner time. Probably because other people have had to experience the nasty wait staff as well. I will NEVER be returning and I will let all my friends know of my horrible experience and advise them that the diner on Park Ave. is a better bet... I have also written of my experience on Yelp. CHEERS!"

"Brio Flatiron was a pleasant surprise. Our decision to go here was a last minute one to do other neighborhood restaurants being booked. My party was greeted pleasantly and promptly and our special needs were met. I ordered the pasta special of the day and it was fabulous. The pasta was cooked to perfection, the flavors of the ingredients, octopus, grape tomatoes, olives, herbs and capers all combined to the perfect potpourri of flavors that awakened and pleasured my taste buds after an extremely long work day. I am recommending this restaurant to all my co-workers and friends. Bravo Brio"

"Didn't have a dish that was on the OT menu, when I asked the waiter for the veal Milanese , I was told its not on menu , but could be done instead it came out on a panini as a patty. When I said this is not what I expected, the waiter said its too late to change. Needless to say we wouldn't go back. PS I thought it was a 1000 pt restaurant . Only awarded 100?"

"My cousin and i enjoyed the food. The service was very pleasant and impressive. The maitre d and the waitresses were very helpful and attentive. Chef was kind enough to change our sauce preference and indeed enjoyed the seafood pasta so much. We will definitely comeback and recommend this fab restaurant."

"The owner, Damien Scoditti, was so kind as to organize a fixed price menu for a group of students organizing an event with a budget for dinner with a guest-speaker. As an Italian myself I highly recommend Brio for its food - take the eggplant melanzane as a starter! The prices are very fair and the quality of the food is at a high standard. You will also most definitely have a fun night out with your friends at Brio as the interior and the atmosphere are amazing."

"This is the second time I have been to Brio Flatiron. Both times with a group of about 8. Food was very good, service was good - even though it was very busy and one of our oders was held up. Still - the staff was on top of this and it was not an issue. Would definitley return!"

"This was a very disappointing meal and I will never go back. Both of the salads that we ordered were soggy, as if dressing was added hours earlier. The Saltimboca was dry and like cardboard, with a tiny piece of prosciutto seemingly glued on top. Nothing seemed fresh. It felt like the meals were bought by the restaurant pre-prepared, frozen, then reheated."

"The space is beautiful and the service is generally attentive, if a bit anxious at times, but the food, for the area is just so-so. Nothing really special, unfortunately."

"A nice find....one pasta dish arrived cold and under cooked (way more then al dente) but once advised the waiter cane back and advised it was removed from the bill. Otherwise everything else was good. Fried calamari big portion fresh and crisp, caprese had very nice chunk of fresh mozzarella, and the seafood pasta had a nice kick to it. Would definitely return if in the neighborhood"

"We were treated so well by all of the staff. Given the cozy booth in the corner. All of our group's items were perfect. In a neighborhood known with a dense array of restaurants, we are lucky to have this one added to the mix. It is unique in that you don't have to break the bank or scream across the table. Best part is it isn't fully discovered yet...so you can usually get a reservation same day too. the 20 foot ceilings and dim lighting really make the experience feel special. Definitely going back..often."

"went to Brio with 9 coworkers on a Fri night on 7 pm. They let us be seated right away while we were waiting for 4 others. The waiters were attentive, the bread and water was refilled quickly and we never had to wait to order out next meal :) The food came out very quickly and at the right temperature. I like the décor inside as well. Overall, had a great night."

"Great possibilities here, but the bread was stale and that's a bad first impression which is totally unnecessary. Then the pasta was swimming in oil. Tropical salad was great and I had high hopes after that despite the bread, but it just didn't happen."

"The restaurant's food prices do not match what is on their website! it's disappointing to be deceived. A small salad with goat cheese and chicken...$17, two small scoops of ice cream...$9, a shot of Johnny Walker Black...$14. Plus there was no need to charge $3 each for two small bottles of diet coke when the bill is already $150 for two (without including tax and gratuity). The food was good but I am still not sold that was worth the money spent that evening. Further, the table next to me (seating one person) got a small plate of cookies when they got the bill and we did not....Atleast be consistent!"

"Had another wonderful dinner experience here! The food is amazing and the wine that the owner suggested was top notch! The Cavatelli Romanesco was delicious and the Fried Calamari NEVER disappoints! The staff is friendly and very attentive! Would recommend to everyone!"

"The waitress was really nice but unfortunately she made hugh mistakes. We go a lot at UES location. So we are a fan. We came in, party of 3, she was very welcoming, and we ordered, a few minutes later are food was there (we had to wait a long time for the wine). Before we ordered we asked to have 20-25 minutes between apetizer and entree. One guest at our table was still enjoying his apetizer as she brought the entree. Instead of takeing in back in the kitchen, because all are plates were still on the table, she just placed them next to it.The table had 6 plates.. And we asked for 20-25 min wait time. So after desert that also came out after a few minutes aare check came... WORST of all evening, she included gratuity.... Party of 3 NY's."
