"My husband and I were celebrating our 9th anniversary and his brother and his wife their 10th. We decided to go together for dinner. Everything was great. Server was really good. Wine was awesome, recommended by server. Food was delish as was the desserts. Very happy w the whole evening."

"My husband and I wanted to go to a nice place for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. We've been before and it was nice. Our waitress was very nice but between her and other people, we kept getting interrupted. I can't tell you how many times someone came up and asked if "every thing was delicious?". My steak was not cooked like I asked and they came back twice to tell me they didn't have something I asked for that was on the menu. Had to wait for coffee while our dessert was already served. For the prices here you would expect a higher level of service. This experience was no better than going to Whataburger."

"We called the day before to ask for an outside table at 7:00. They said they couldn't promise it, but we got there at 7:00 and outside table was waiting for us. Quck service; appetizers, salads, entrees paced well; water refilled immediately, excellent wine. Server attentive but not hovering. We've been to Jasper's dozens of time, and I've never been disappointed."

"The food here is very, very flavorful. The atmosphere is great (you can dress casually or fancy). The fancy mac-n-cheese is absolutely delicious as is the baked potato salad. I had the ribs which were very tender (the meat just falls off the bone) and my wife had the pork tenderloin which was also delicious. We were both too full to try their desserts so their portion sizes are very adequate. I just couldn't finish my food and I'm not the type of guy that leaves food on his plate.
If you love food that tastes good, you must try this place. The service was also top notch. Jasper's in The Woodlands is now my number one restaurant and has exceeded what had been my number one restaurant for several years (it is located in New Orleans)."

"Always good brunch. I always order the French toast, which is usually out of this world delicious, but this time was just good. I also sub eggs for bacon and twice now have received my eggs poached instead of over hard. Not a huge deal, but I thought I was making it easier ordering over hard? Next time I'll just order poached."

"My wife and went to Jasper's for our date night. One that we don't get to celebrate often because our three kids have very busy schedules. This was a great way for us to be able to see each other again without the constant mothering and fathering that parents do. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, and the service. We were well taken care of throughout the meal. I also enjoyed the location of the restaurant. There is usually something going on around market street and this night there was a Beatles cover band playing out front and also a flash mob happened out of nowhere. We really enjoyed ourselves that evening and hope to make this something we are able to do more regularly."

"The wife and I enjoyed or 20th wedding anniversary at Jasper's this passed weekend. Great menu...something for everyone. We started with the infamous Maytag blue cheese potato chips and a few unique coctails...she had the Big Daddy and I had the Backyard. Both summertime drinks were worked well with the chips. Ore waitress was energetic, timely and engaging...but not too engaging. For dinner, we split an entre and added a side. The Texas Peach BBQ pork tenderloin sas outstanding paired with the garlic mashed potatoes with chives and I am sure with heavy cream to make the dish so creamy but savory. Jasper's is a perfect restaurant to celebrate your next special occasion"

"We took some neighbors that have never been to jaspers and that night the ribs weren't that great at all. Disappointed because that's all we bragged about. they are usually so tender the meat falls off the bone but that night they were dry."

"I was not impressed with the food. Not worth the money. Steak was much better than the Salmon entree. Overall I was disappointed. I would not go back there. Our server always seemed to be in a rush. He would ask us a question and before we could even respond to him he would step away...example remove the small bud vase from our table...deliver bread to another table, very haphazard and choppy."

"We went at 545 because we couldn't get into the Mother's Day brunch , we were seated promptly on the second floor service was good food and drinks were great. The only complaint I had was in the upstairs area the tables seem extremely close not something I'm used to. The bottom floor seems like there isn't this problem . At first there was no one on either side but then a party was seated next to us and itself ex like they were at the tables with us I really did not want to hear their dinner conversation luckily the meal was about over .other. than that everything was fine and I look forward to returning"

"We made Mothers Day brunch reservations based upon past experiences at Jaspers which were very good and enjoyable. However, once we arrived the occasion started to deteriorate. The drinks and appetizers came and were good. Then we were told that we had to place an order becaues the kitchen was going to close. Normally not a problem but we were waiting on one son to arrive from work and asked earlier if we had time to wait and they agreed. I would figure somone would tell you when making the reservation for 2:30 and following up with confirmation that the kitchen closes right after you arrive! The food came out rushed, you could tell and not up to moderate standards. Think we got the left overs."

"We have come to Jasper's each year from the time we were married to celebrate our anniversary. We are never disappointed! Despite being very busy on this Saturday night, our table was ready at our appointed reservation time. The receptionist greeted us with a warm "Happy Anniversary!". We had requested our favorite table by the window and there it was! We also really liked that our server, Julianna, was attentive but not obtrusive. We told her when we arrived that we like to take our time and she obliged by allowing us a leisurely dinner. Of course, the food is always excellent and the menu is diverse so we can try new items with each visit. Kudos to the staff and the chef for a great evening!"

"The cool evening air brought a tantilizing treat of a tangy pecan crusted trout and spicy chicken jambalaya. The atmosphere would have been exceptional but a local art festival was occuring in the town square area outside the establishment and thus create a bit more noise and passing traffic than usual. However, this did not interupt a tantilizing meal topped off by a dessert with a special Congratulatory Note from the Chef. On the other hand I must note the fine selection of wines, which my party endulged in, certainly helps sooth the ears and free the mind of the festival chatter. The service was timely and not over intrusive for the special evening. Jasper's is perfect for the elegant eveing out or for catering your business clientele."

"Food was a real dissapoinment, We had the crab cakes, potato chips with blue cheese, baby back ribs and Prime rib, chips were really good, everything else was just ok. We expect more.

"There were five of us at dinner Saturday evening for a family birthday celebration. We enjoyed the maytag blue cheese potato chips as our appetizer. From there we had orders for salmon, a salad with chicken breast, and the surf (ahi tuna) and turf. All meals were excellent and everyone left the table happy and fully satisfied. It was a great meal and all agreed that we wanted to come back to sample more of the menu."

"Jaspers is one of our favorite restaurants,. We have had many good meals there, and referred it to many of our friends. However, saturday night for our anniversary was a very average meal with average service at best. Very disappointing after looking forward to it all week. servers were loud and inexperienced. also, I found myself cleaning up our table and putting the dishes to the side to pick up. Nothing lived up to the usually fine dining experience."

"Even though we made a reservation 3 weeks out and we arrived at Jaspers (The Woodlands, TX) 30 minutes early we still were not seated until 40 minutes after the servation time of 7:30pm. We were quire dissapointed in this as the April 27th reservation was for a 28 year wedding anniversary.
Not sure I'll be headed back to Jaspers (The Woodlands, TX) anytime soon."

"The Food is great, our waiter was great but when we had some issues with the Check the manager proved more than unhelpful. Its the second time we have had issues with him and he could care less to throw away the hard work his workers do and the great branding the restaurant has. If he spoke better english and was more in tune with customers reasonable expectations it would have been an excellent evening. Do not plan to have any business dinners there anymore."

"Jasper's is one of our favorite Woodlands restaurants. The location and ambiance are great. When the food is done well, it is wonderful. We have several favorites including the Masa Soup, Ribs, Blue Cheese Chips and Broccoli Cauliflower Hollandaise. However, Jasper's does seem to have hit and miss days in terms of the quality/flavor of the food. Don't know what's happening in the kitchen on these days. Unfortunately, our last visit was a miss. The hit days are so good and happen more frequently than the miss days, so we'll still go back."

"The food and wine is always incredible. I have a gluten sensitivity and the restaurant has always been enthusiastically accommodating and I've never been accidentally glutened. Before we sat down for dinner, I had chosen my dish online. However, when I looked through the menu, the dish I wanted was different - Pomegranate rotisserie chicken with spaghetti squash was now raspberry rotisserie chicken with Cajun red beans and beer braised greens. The waitress assured me that they could make it gluten-free. My dish was so ridiculously delicious! Everyone else was just as pleased with the ribs, trout, pork, and dessert! So impressed and will be back soon for brunch with a friend from out of town."
