"Tried Bice using a special Travel Zoo offer. Never treated any differently b/c of the discount. The service is very attentive and the staff is very accommodating. My wife and I had 6 different dishes and they ranged from good to very good. One dish came out differently than I expected and they quickly, and pleasantly, exchanged it. My main course was a nicely "frenched" veal chop and my wife had the lamb chops. Both were very good. We each had a pasta dish as a second plate and they were also very good. Our appetizers were burratta and tuna tartare. Both were good. Dishes are presented very nicely. We asked that our meal be served at a slow pace and it was done without a problem. One suggestion would be to add more reasonably priced wines."

"The staff could not be more accommodating. They will make anything you desire. There "special" deal coupon form Living Social is outstanding! Too much food--appetizer, pasta and an entree. Way too much food--enough to take home for the next day. The veal ravioli with truffle sauce is to die for. We will be back...."

"My wife left her glasses on the table and headed out when the restaurant was almost empty already. Half an hour later phoned and nobody saw anything or find anything. Very strange and disappointing end the evening in this way at Bice Ristorante."

"We are New Yorkers
First time for Bice NYC....have been to both Milan and Palm Beach
I had soup and Veal ragu pasta....she had tuna tartar and rigatoni with eggplant pasta
Her pasta came to the table so hard you couldn't get a fork into it...after getting a replacement
it was still harder then it should have been. Service was spotty....constantly had to ask/look for help
and it wasn't busy. Considering the cost vs value....too many other outstanding establishments to
choose from....we would not return
Clearly they are selling something other than the food and service"

"What a perfect ending to our NYC trip. We enjoyed a wonderful meal and the service was attentive but not hovering. The staff took our special requests and delighted us with their response. We won't miss a trip to the Bice when were in NYC next. We will make sure to let our friends know how pleased we are."

"The Bronzino was not good at all. It had absolutely no flavor, and I could not even eat it because there were so many bones in it. We went on a Sunday night and there were about 3 or 4 other small tables besides us, and we had 4 different servers, and we had to wave them down when we needed something. The Pasta Fagolia was terrible, the beans in it were burnt and it had no tomato base to it. We used to really like coming here, now I do not think I would return."

"OK I am so happy to write this review- it seemed in the past months Bice was slipping bad I believe I even gave it a not so good review. Well we tried it again simply because it had always been fabulous and we really want to be able to dine there. Our experience was truly awesome ...reminiscent of many years ago- It also looks like they got new front of house management and lots of the old time wait staff back! The food was right on...best pasta in NYC! I am looking forward to many more great times at Bice!!"

"Overall it was ok except for the fact that my girlfriend
Had ordered lamb chops and ate only one of the three and asked for the other two to be wrapped in a doggy bag. Upon opening the bag the next morning there was only one lamb chop in the bag? Guess the servers were hungry."

"I ordered lobster on pasta. The pasta had a few small, somewhat fishy pieces of lobster mixed in. The dish certainly did not merit the lobster surcharge. The eggplant was tough on partner's pasta dish. We watched our dinners arrive and be placed on a counter while our waiter was busily talking to another employee. The bus boy finally went over to get his attention."

"After almost 25 years, will never go back.
Food has deteriorated significantly, but the service has literally collapsed.
On top of that, they charged 18% gratuity for a party of 5, not for at least six as custumary in NYC.
Aybe that is the reaon the waiter did nit care at all, i felt in Paris in that respect. Just terrible disregard forattending to the client.
Very dissapointed as I have great memories but it seems BICE is now just another NY restaurant leaving off its past glory and fading reputation."

"I have been going to Bice in NYC since it opened, and frequently go to their location in Palm Beach, too. The latest experience in NYC was disappointing. The food was bland and tasteless. The service at lunch, acknowledging that it is a busy time, was literally thrown down with little care for ceremony. Considering the price point, there are much better lunches to be had in NYC."

The veal used was substandard and the salmon was a cheap grade
The service was terrible. It took more than one half hour to clear pasta plates and then another fifteen minutes to bring next course. After two hours, dessert menu was
finally brought to table. Ice cream was sub standard.

"this is one of my go to places for lunch, drinks or dinner, the bar area is better as it is more intimate and reminds me of a European cafe. Though i suppose a chain, it comes across as a warm, inviting restaurant and they remember you well. The foos is excellent particulalry the Branzino, salads and pata."

"While we were ordering, our waiter told us that he had been there for 21 years. I shared with my date some of my favorite memories of Bice in the 90s and was anticipating a great bowl of pasta (I haven't been there in the last year). I was so disappointed. Even though it was a holiday weekend, that's no excuse for serving food that was both dried out and mushy at the same time. The eggplant was overcooked and with a consistency normally associated with the output of a Gerber's jar - price: $27. My delicious SuperTuscan drowned out the taste of the dehydrated starchiness in front of me. I passed on dessert.

The next night, I satisfied my craving for pasta at Felice. Price: $16. It was just what I had been fantasizing about."

"Went with my mom (74 yrs. old) and it was very comfortable for her. There were big groups at the tables near us, but it was fine...didn't bother us a bit. Actually fun people watching! Food was really good! I give it a B+"

"I feel that for the amount we paid for our meal that the quality should have been much better. The service was unbelievably fast, but in a bad way. From the moment the waiter took our order it took less than 10 minutes for our food to come out. That tells me the prep time for the food is almost nonexistent and had just been sitting waiting to be reheated. We also had about 4 different servers come to our table so there was no consistency. Overall I was pretty disappointed and I will not return."

"I took my wife there to celebrate her bday & we had an outstanding meal & the service amazing! Our server Scott, was extremely knowledgable, polite & had great recommendations. We started with the seafood plateau (petite) which was delicious & enough for 2-3 people. The filet w/ frittes was delicious & perfectly medium rare. The kale salad & duck from the pre-fixe menu was also incredible. We'll definitely be going there for my bday!!!"
