"I asked this place to write a mother's day note for my mom when we went to visit and they not only did this but gave us some small flowers! It was very lovely. The food was very good, the service was quick and our waitress attended to our needs. I enjoyed the outdoor patio, even though it was in the parking lot, it was quite nice. The music in the bar was very loud if you were seated inside or were at the hostess, you could totally hear it! Out on the patio, our guitarist was mellow and helped set the mood. Make sure and eat outside!"

"Food was good and quite innovate cuisine, and presented very nicely (painting on the plate with the sauces etc) though the portions were small. To us the small portions seemed a good thing because we'd been overeating mahi mahi fish and chips for two days straight and a smaller meal was welcome. But it may be a deterrent to others.
there was live music and dancing in the other room (a Thursday evening) which looked like tons of fun."

"we stumbled across 3's and booked a last minute reservation for 8 adults. the food was amazing, as was the service and ambiance. Elaine Ryan was performing when we were there and she was fantastic (bought her CD's. Cody, one of the owners personally came out to help us book an outside table, we sat at a table for 6 but there was still plenty of room:)"

"We stopped in at the end of a long day after being on the road to Hana tour. We were seated at a good table in spite of being late for our reservation. Our server was a young woman who was quite pleasant. We had two appetizers, a salad and a bottle of wine. The tab was pricey, but not unusual for Maui. A live entertainer played some acoustic guitar music and sang. Overall a fun experience a great way to end a long day."

"Good service. Very good food. Outdoor patio was romantic with nice mellow live music. Only drawback I could see was that the patio was in the parking lot, but it was on a raised deck with view out to the ocean. Price was reasonable for Maui. Good place for a romantic date. They also had a live band inside with more upbeat music. We would definitely go again. We made a reservation about an hour and a half ahead and they seated us immediately when we got there."

"This was our second time to Three's Bar & Grill. We loved that they had reserved us a table on their deck as requested. Its quite a neat setting. Meal was hit and miss. Our waiter was young but gets extra marks for effort. My sister and my husband both like their meals; nigiri, stir fry and fish sandwich. My brother-in-law and I didn't fare as well. Parts of the meals were okay but others not."

"We found Three's one day after breakfast at our facorite breakfast spot on the island. Decided to have dinner there that night and found the outdoor setting and the food very enjoyable. The fish specials were particularly good. We enjoyed it so much we came back again a couple of days later before we left and the food and service was consistently good. We will definitely visit on our next trip to the island."

"I love this location. I eat there often. The food never disappoints. Sometimes the singer is a bit loud in the main dining room during dinner, but always talented. Live entertainment is offered inside and outside, which is a special treat. They have amazing bands here later at night, too. Affordable for Maui, which is another treat! Great breakfast when open for breakfast, fantastic happy hour, perfect for lunch, and amazing for dinner. I personally love the Strawberry salad and Panko Crusted Ahi Roll. Treat yourself to the bread pudding dessert. It's calorty worthy!"

"Everytime I eat at Three's I get blown away by the quality of the food. Sushi is always great! I love their menu and usually when I go to a restaurant I order the samething that I find on the menu that I like, but with Three's I'm trying a different dish everytime because everything is so good. Hawaiian Jamabalaya was off da hook, my friend had the Hawaiian Ribs and that's what I'm getting next. AWESOMENESS!!!"

"The sushi was quite good, the special (Mahi Mahi) was OK, but the ambiance was more like a biker bar. The worst part was the price tag. For the price, you may just as well go to the Grand Wailea or the Four Seasons and get a much better environmnet. I would give this one a miss."

"Very dissapointed in the small portion size at a very large price. There was so little opaka fish at $34.95 in my portion that it would not satisfy a child.
When I complained all I got was a smile with no explanation.
I usually eat there a few times in my regular monthly visist.

"Overall, I give the restaurant 4 and one half stars. The service was excellent. The server knew the menu and specials and made good suggestions. It is a shame there is not a better ocean view. Outside dining overlooked a crowded parking lot so that shoots the scenic view and great for outside dining boxes but the food was great. All three chefs lend something special to the restaurant."
