Bistro Casanova
Bistro Casanova is the offspring of Casanova in Makawao, an Upcountry institution. Bistro Casanova is smooth, elegant, exquisite and fun. A tropical landscaping refreshes the air surrounding the outside al fresco tables. Bistro Casanova offers Mediterranean fare, its roots coming from the Cinque Terre in Italy (where the owner comes from). Locally grown ingredients are used extensively, as well as Maui grown beef and the freshest fish from Maui's ocean. It's a fusion of old world flavors and Pacific cuisine. Bistro Casanova is a favorite for Happy Hour relaxation, watered by specialty martinis, a creative offering of wines by the glass and carafes of mojiito and margaritas.
Tapas (available after 3pm) can be a tasty complement to your drinks, an opening line for your dinner, or dinner itself.

"tucked away although still on a main road, this is the place in Kahului area. Great food, consistantly good service and terrific happy hour. Try the squid ink pasta none other like it. They also just added lobster to the menu, perfectly cooked. Definately worth the trip in to town."

Prices are good.
People all over the restaurant were having a good time.

"Food was good, service was mediocre. Visited on Valentine's hoping for a nice, romantic setting. We ended up at a table in the back - no flower, no candle and stuck next to a curtain that appeared to be hiding extra seating. Waiter started his service by telling us he had other things to do but just wanted to let us know he'd be back. I would have preferred he simply bypass our table until he was ready to begin serving us. The food was tasty but the side room could use attention."
